Are you following it? It started out with a "bang" but I feel it has lamed out.... with 9 seasons under their belt , not too much appears fresh, fun and exciting. I always choose the wrong person to win... Only once did I correctly chose the winner Yet, I like Adam (what a hoot ) and James for his Aqua way about him. Do you have a fav? ------------------ ~ What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world is immortal"~ - George Eliot IP: Logged |

I can't believe I missed your reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!So sorry! Ok, I came to post American Idol stuff but I can get down with a BB chat. hehe JAMES!!!!!!!!!!! I have a love/hate relationship with James. I welled up last night when he cried and freaked out on whatshername because I could totally understand how he felt )and how much he honestly needed and appreciated the encouragement), but most of the time he behaves like an inconsiderate jerk. He was a lot better when the girl who cared about him was still in there and it is true, everyone is against him so his behavior is understandable, but since they only show his erratic and emotional outbursts and you don't get to see him behaving calmly or kindly most of the time, it gets old. And he over-does the whole pink hair and all pink shirts thing. And black speedo type underwear last night. hehe That was unexpected. Basically, I see him as a lovable, emotional, self-centered dork who can't see anyone else's feelings, only their effect on HIM. I liked Matty, he was an obvious sort of jerk. I also liked whatshisname "8-baller" from the beginning and thought his partner whatshername (looks like I don't know their names even though I watch almost every episode) was a total freak-out and mean to him. She reminds me of a girl I know with Aries, Pisces and Scorpio energies prominent. She is aggressive, and calculatingly mean and dramatic, but she has a soft heart and wonders why no one gives a crap if she is sad after she has just screamed, yelled, insulted, and torn everybody's hearts out and kicked them all over the yard. That bearded dude... I'm SO glad his two women are gone. They both drove me nuts. Oh SHEILA is 8-baller's mean partner gal's name. What I really don't like in new seasons is that the bad players have figured out to gang up on the good players and vote them out immediately so the end of these new seasons are usually boring. When there are 5 contestants left, they should let "America" bring back 3 favorite players to even things up a bit. It wouldn't be 5 against 3 because there will always be a loyalty or two with an old guest. Do that for a few seasons and players will have to consider their decisions for the long-term instead of for only as long as they can push someone out of the house. I'm glad whatshisname will voted out and I loved it when James won the veto because even though I was so disgusted with him, I love to cheer on the underdog. hehe I was really happy for him. I think he has a lot of Scorpio because he reads people so well (the whole determining when to play or fold by bearded guy's sweat! brilliant!) and he is verrrrry calculating. (and I forgot to say emotionally manipulative...) I always wonder what on earth are on his tatoos since they follow him around with blurs on a couple parts of his body constantly... IP: Logged |

I haven't watched this season of BB. It kind of conflicted with my schedule. Right now I'm not sure if I'm going to see the rest of American Idol either since my class is starting back up. I do think that a few of this AI batch will go places regardless of how they do on AI. IP: Logged |

I disagreed with the judges on him last night to be honest. That whole introductory verse sounded very dull and lifeless. He is a good singer, but I wasn't really impressed by last night's performance.IP: Logged |

I didn't get to watch AI last night, but I'm under the impression that Kristy Lee Cook got the boot at last. I'm amazed she lasted so long. She was really terrible at times.IP: Logged |

She's gone. Mr. Pessimistic That's ok... they all must go except my guy.... hehe Sorry 'bout their luck. What order do you think? I was happy Whitney girl got to stay in an extra week so it is between her and Brooke next week. Then I'm not sure if I remember everyone... but dred locks and little Boy David Archeletta have to go and dark haired girl with the great voice. I think that is the order it should be, but I think dred locks might slip ahead of dark haired Carley. Too many texting girlie votes for his cuteness rather than his actual talent. He's awesome... I just think Carley and "Whitney" are better vocally. But "Whitney" has no "umph" as far as personality or star power and Carley is probably the best vocally (other than David of course hehe ohhh get over it, he's 'the man') so she might even get kicked off before the boys. America's top 3 might end up being the two Davids and dred locks. My top 3 is *David, *Carley and dred locks. Is is Jason, yes, *Jason. They could teach Carley to be a "star". Brainwash her properly. Blondey will be a star no matter what. Just a singer/songwriter type of star. That's what Castro's (Jason, see I remember now hehe) thing should be but he probably isn't deep enough to actually write any powerful or real or deep songs.

Archuletta's making top three without a doubt. Probably top two. He's the undeniable guy like Clay Aiken was during his season.Brooke, Carly, and Sayesha are all about the same quality for me. They have their good moments and their bad. They all suffer from being inconsistent. Jason Castro won't go all the way. It could certainly be the two David's at the end. quote: (other than David of course hehe ohhh get over it, he's 'the man')
Any male singer who affects their voice to do some version of Eddie Vedder's sound comes off as fake to me. Without fail I want those people to sing with their own real voice and drop this voice that's become almost a cliche. I think Daughtry was better. IP: Logged |

Ewwwwwww! I don't think he sounds like Eddie Vedder at alllllllllllll. I would hate it if he did. I love his voice. Daughtry was my fav for that other season though. I could tell you didn't think much of David Cook. lol Quit talkin' bad about my boyfriend! I thought that link you posted was a picture in case someone didn't know who Daughtry was, but maybe it's a video... I better go check it! IP: Logged |

So, you are trying out for Idol next season, right? David's album might be the first album I've actually purchased in about 10 years. It's awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgZuQLfDjMA IP: Logged |

Me too... I'm going to keep practicing for when they change the rules to American Grandma and Grandpa Idol or whatever. All that Capricorn aging backwards stuff has me feeling 19 (or maybe 21?) half the time and like a little old lady the other half. Ahh, half and half, maybe that's a Libra Capricorn. I guess I'll never 'act my age'.

I totally missed Idol last night. It was a deciding Game 7 in our team's hockey playoffs. The Sharks kicked the Calgary Flames' ass. It was awesome, though the Flames didn't deserve the grace they received from our team.So how was it. I saw Carly, and that was it. She was ok. IP: Logged |

Yes, Carley with Jesus Christ Superstar. I liked David and Brooke best. She has to stop and start, but it's still beautiful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63ExHy94Xss David did the Phantom of the Opera song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOcpwazvTwU IP: Logged |
