I love how he spanks the dishonest chicks. hehehe Jen was just better at hiding her pain than whats-her-uhhh-the one who stayed because the other dude ticked off Dick.
Yeah, during the summer is the only time I wish I was richer so I could afford to watch the live feed!

His daughter p!sses me off when he tries to talk with her. I don't know what he's said to her, or how horrible it might have been, but each time he tries to talk with her she just shuts down and won't talk, which I just think is so unreasonable (mostly because I'm a person like E-D and would want to talk it out myself).

Kail is the one who got to stay, because the house voted the other guy out.

I have seen probably 4 or 5 of the Pirate reality show. That one is pretty brutal in the way it's set up.

I haven't watched the Don't Forget the Lyrics show yet (other than the last 2 minutes of it, it must be on when I'm watching Big Brother or something) and I don't know what the other karaoke show is??? but I may have seen a commercial and just don't remember. I don't watch the dance shows or the talent show, but I do watch a show called Age of Love which is sort of like a "The Bachelor" show only interesting. I am bummed if there is no Rock Star, but I guess they need a band that needs a singer so...

"Brutal" -- no doubt, whatshisname with the british accent thing going on figured it out though, hehe. Good for him. Louie reminds me of the one guy from Survivor who was very "Pirate". Can't remember his name though. Actually thought it was him when the show first started.
But at least they each get at least about five thousand dollars or more when they leave. They go home with nothing on Survivor unless they get 1st, 2nd or car/truck competition... so I guess it wouldn't be that bad. But brutal challenges is indisputable!! Snakes in the water, those whaddayacallums that fall down and block the way, even if people are going through them?!?!? Ya, could get bloody. I'm surprised they didn't kill the guy who dropped the keys, if you saw that one... last week, I think.

So, what's the other karaoke one?

Her defense about not being the way Evel's characterized her sounds to me like maybe he did actually characterize her correctly, because the only thing she said was that she "wasn't that way," but I didn't see her once try to define herself in terms that were different than his conception. I'd be frustrated if I were him, too. My sun's in Scorp's house (the 8th).

I haven't seen much of the two karaoke shows. The other one is called The Singing Bee. Joey Fatone's show actually seems more difficult to me, because one of the challenges gives you the words that make up the line, but they're scatted on a board and not in order, which only confuses me when I see them. I think I'd have to do that one blind-folded and hope for the best. Wayne Brady hosts the other one, and you sing along with the song karaoke style, and then at some point the words disappear leaving you to sing what you think is there. Then they stop the song, and put up what you sang to fill the blank spaces for the words. You can lock in the words you sang, or there are three helps. That game premise stays constant throughout.

I saw some of the initial dance shows (So You Think You Can Dance), and they were surprisingly good, but I still don't feel like watching that show. I mostly watched because my girlfriend was interested in watching it.

My girlfriend and I watch Age of Love as well. I was surprised that she cancelled for tonight. She doesn't always have a tv to watch at her place. I actually liked the woman he booted last week, though I kind of agree with the reason. That guy is a Scorpio. I looked his birthday up.

Ok, I wanted to say that I COULDN'T STAND the girl he kicked out last week, well older woman, whatever hehe, but LOL I read the second post and I've been cracking up at the eye roll for Jessica. TOO FUNNY!! I SO FEEL THE EXACT SAME WAY LOL.
A Capricorn?????????? hehe Well, she's quiet most of the time anyway. But the fact that she is absolutely stupid, superficial, and petty beyond belief doesn't show well for us Cap influenced folk. Who does she think her "enemy" is again? Or is that the chick they already sent home?

If dude is Scorpio, I wonder what sign that Amanda chick is...
I wasn't sure if he would pick Amanda or not, since she is the young one and swoons over him, but if he is a Scorp I don't think he will pick her. She fell too hard and too fast and if he is a Scorp he will be able to see that clearly. She just spends all of her time feeling jealous and telling him about her jealous feelings instead of actually speaking to him and getting to know him and allowing him to get to know her. But since they don't show everything.... you never know.
Of course he will NEVER hear the end of it if he does choose her after he did the "massage" thing with the older chick "tonight". And DAMMMMMMMM, older chick DOES look good for almost frking 50 too, my goodness, makes a girl look forward to the gym tomorrow...
Annnnnd, he DID pick older chick for the magical date.
Heck, he MUST pick Amanda because the shows are always aired waaaaay after they are filmed and we haven't hear news of "Twenty-something star, Amanda, from Age Of Love was found dead by suicide in her apartment last week... they say she died from a broken heart... Nick, the Pisces. Do they have a Sun/Moon double whammy? Are they Leo/Pisces and Pisces/Leo? That would explain the attraction... aside from them both being attractive. I thought Nick might be a James at the start with his waffling idea of being in an alliance, but he seems a lot less fiery.

If Amanda isn't a Sag I'd be shocked. She totally looks like a Sag to me. She looks a bit like Boogie's gf Ericka, who's a Sag. I think a Scorp could go for a Sag, and he obviously trusts her enough not to even give woman from last week a chance to respond.

Yeah, the older chick is pretty hot, but I thought we always knew that. She definitely knows how to look good, and looks great for her age.

Jayanna, the chick from last week: I liked her because she was spunky. She was always smiling, always joking. I'm sure she was fun for guys to be around. She put cry-baby Mary in her place, and didn't take it back. I think her video commentary was pretty typical of her. From her perspective everything she said was true. That's always the way it is in these reality shows. Everyone has their own perspective, and it's not always the reality that we see. She did have a point when she spoke to Amanda. Amanda was falling hard from the start, and wasn't thinking about the relationships he was having with all the rest of the women in the house. If she told Amanda that Amanda wasn't special, she might have taken it too far, but there was some reality to it. I think it was part strategy and part reality check, and you'd have to expect someone to take up that message. I think that when Amanda took that message to Mark she might have given her commentary of it as well. I'm not positive Mark booted her for saying that stuff to Amanda. I think part of it was him hearing it, and then thinking to himself that he's a genuine guy, so who is this person to undermine the individual nature of these multiple, simultaneous relationships? I think he was himself more insulted than being angry at Jayanna for saying that to Amanda. He has to balance the feelings of all these women, so Jayanna tipping those scales out of balance was something he had to manage.

Yep, I thought about the double whammy possibility but it seems WAY stronger from Nick's end (remember he was mad flirting with every girl in the house and then suddenly become infatuated/devoted to Danielle and revealed his alliance etc) so I thought it might be a touch more one sided somehow. But maybe not, she could just have Cap AC or something and be much more reserved and still loyal to her bf regardless of the initial attraction.

Oh, duh, Aries for Zach, oops!

Yeah, Dr. Will was absolutely the master. People can sense honesty and prefer brutal honesty to subtle manipulation. He was very vocal about it being a game (Mike too hehe I wish I could watch that season again...) so people didn't feel betrayed by him.
That's Evel Dick's not-so-secret weapon too.

Age Of Love

OH THAT'S who she reminded me of... it was bugging me because she looked so familiar. I couldn't stand Erika though. And Amanda is MUCH more beautiful. Her features are soft, where Erika's were overly chiseled.
Well, I know what you mean about Jayanna seeing that Amanda was falling too hard and too fast, but I think that was obvious to everyone. Her little speech was purely strategy, manipulation, and bitchiness, and not at all to save the other poor young girls from heartache. That's just how she chose to wrap the stinky thing up because she knew she could fool some people with that pink wrapping. I gave her the slightest benefit of the doubt, considering she might have also had strong feelings that she hadn't revealed, and feelings of jealousy she hadn't revealed, therefore her nastiness wasn't totally cold, ugly motivations, but more passionate and un- clear-minded (yeah, I just made up a word) spouting off... but she gave herself away with her "final speech". Like she had to "WARN" everybody that Amanda would tell on them if they were total witches. And she spun it like Amanda would take any little thing they said and twist it and run it back to him. Amanda is just honest. I'm not sure she is a Sag though (even though the "honest" proves your point there). Are Sag girl's that jealous? It might be her age... but that other young girl who is left isn't jealous at all.

I also totally agree with your assessment that Mark kicked her out because he doesn't like it when the women can't accept and appreciate the nature of the situation. For it to be a genuine experience, he has to date all of these women and take it to whatever extreme it may have been taken over a longer period of time so he can make an honest decision about who he would prefer based on as much information as possible. They are trying to cram 10 years of dating and relationships into 10 weeks. I think it is all horse crap and of course it won't work out...
but...
it is so much fun observing the human lab rats.

Not that I judge anyone who would go on a realty television show. If I wasn't a parent, Survivor and Big Brother would have my application some day.

I do think the people who don't realize what they are getting in for are humorous though. People who think they are just getting some "exposure". Jen comes to mind. Mark my words, will we see the day when Jen FLIPS OUT. Well, I mean BESIDES the "Oh I hate my picture boo hoo" thing. She is not used to being hated. It makes sense as a Taurus that she is used to just being mellow and hanging in the background and still being adored just because she is pretty. She will just keep taking Dick's abuse (and the abuse everyone else feels free to heap upon her now since Dick broke that ice...) until she reaches her Taurus breaking point and then will go all Bull in a China Shop on their ***** (uhh, I mean "rears").
I can't stand her, and about bounced in my seat laughing and cheering when Dick called her out (weeeell, I smile and point at the tv and say, "Thats right, Dick, tell her!" and other similar outbursts that startle my daughter who isn't used to me speaking to the television hehe) about trying to strong-arm and threaten Amber (Jen is so used to getting her own way that she didn't even fully realize what a yucko crud she was being) but I still hope she gets to hang around just long enough to see her flip out once more. I'm sure NBC agrees with me. They were probably crapping their pants when Dick got put up for eviction.
I often wonder if they choose the competitions based on what they hope happens that week. Doing comps based on strength, for example, if they want one of the muscle guys to pull it through for themselves or an ally, and doing comps of intellect when they want the Dr. Will types to beat out a dull one for Power of Veto or even Head of Household etc. and doing random luck comps when they need to mix it up and take power away from a strong, intelligent alliance that is making the show too predictable.

Nick went to Danielle, and asked if she knew all along. She just put her head down, and he left.

Then Nick went to Dick to ask him if it was a concensus. Dick said that he wanted the original nominations to be up there. Eric was also there, and played dumb.

Then Nick went to Amber, who was crying, of course.

Then Nick was back talking to Danielle, who explained that she tried to get his name off the block. She asked him to be honest with her, and tell her whether he was the other vote for Kail. He swore that he wasn't, and she explained that everyone thinks that he was the other vote. Nick said to Danielle that everything he felt was real, and he never screwed her over once.

(Sometime after this we see Nick shaving his mohawk. I'm not sure exactly when that took place.)

Dick then confronted Jen on using Tameika like he did last time. Then Dick went off on her about how self-centered she is, and she held her ground.

Then Danielle met with Eric in the bathroom. Jen walked in and told Danielle that she knew how she felt about Dick after that little episode. Danielle didn't feel Jen was justified to comment on her relationship with her dad (said in the diary way, not outright or out loud).

Then Danielle confronted Jen in the kitchen saying that Jen treats her like crap. Things seemed to start escalating. The camera was cutting to movements by Nick and Dick. Danielle makes a point of it being about jealousy of her relationship with Nick. Jen explained that she thinks Danielle lacks values for how she's treating her boyfriend. Danielle leaves, and Jen was making a comment, and Nick started yelling at Jen to shut up. He said that if she has a comment she should do it while Danielle's in the room. Jen said that she [Danielle] was just in the room.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I almost started giving Jen a chance until she did the "Jen explained that she thinks Danielle lacks values for how she's treating her boyfriend." thing. I don't mind overt crap starters (like Dick), but I don't like devious, under-handed, subtle crap starters. What was her purpose in saying that? To subtly harm Danielle's credibility in the game? Because people Know how things go in there... stress, camp-like environment, lots of hot people hehe who are forced to live and sometimes practically sleep on top of each other...
Or was her purpose to psychologically destroy Danielle for game purpose, or just to be vindictive because Dick is messing with her head and ruining her 'promote herself' game/opportunity? I view her as vindictive and self-centered (I think that was set in stone during the first episode when she threw the fit and cried for hours because her Big Brother picture on the wall was SO HORRIFIC, even though it looked fabulous...) so I have a really hard time having sympathy for her. That and she's such a foil to Amber, for example, who cares too much for everyone and cries for everyone (Pisces curse hehe).

So, I don't like it that Nick got voted out. That stupid Dustin ruined the love story and now I have to look at Kail and Jen longer. If those two manage some sort of twisted comeback (do you see Jen roll her eyes now whenever Kail calls her "friend") then I will be seriously grumpy about this summer's BB.

I'd have to say that doing that, while not at all harmful, is pretty immature. Grown men don't do that sort of thing. I think he let's his emotions get too out of control. Why should he care so much about how she's playing? His temper may very well get him into a lot of trouble in the house. I don't see him as anything close to a Dr. Will or Mike Boogie character, at least not yet. Those two played the game devoid of emotion (other than having fun).

Jen's preaching to Danielle about morals was quite bitchy, but it's right on the mark, and it got Danielle to walk away (which was probably the purpose in it).

Dick had gone off on her, and then Danielle did as well, so I can see why she'd divert attention away from herself. I wouldn't take any crap from those two either.

I liked Nick, too. I don't think he should have gotten too involved with Danielle like he did. I didn't get to see whether he was going to be a good player or not.

I don't really like anyone in the Big Brother house I don't think. The only one who seems to have any game is Eric, and he's a little hindered by being America's Player.

Maybe it will be interesting to see how this evolves.
