It's GORGEOUS!! Orangy tones make me happy.I found a sitter, but it's the only sitter I even found to interview. She seems alright, but something doesn't feel right. I don't think it's her, though. I think it's me. I'm still researching homeschooling (thanks, Snohawk for your reply.) The idea is very exciting for me. It seems scary though! I know we have homeschoolers here at LL. Maybe it's time for a chat with them??? IP: Logged |

Also I live in the country so to say, so homeschooling is a pretty "hippie" thing, and there is a lot more freedom than if it were in the city.IP: Logged |

I wish I still lived in the country. I moved from a small town to a small city last year and this is my least favorite. Still researching the homeschooling-- I'm so scared to make that drastic a change, but I feel very strongly that I want to. IP: Logged |

future - there are pro and cons to home schooling.. You should consider both the pros and the cons and then decide what is best for your children. Hard to believe the summer is almost gone already.IP: Logged |

Hi all~I haven't been keeping up well with correspondence, but it's for a good reason--I'M FINALLY MOVING INTO MY HOUSE!! We bought it over a year ago and have been living with my in-laws while we were remodeling. We're not exactly done with the work, but done enough to move in! Touch up paint and trim can totally wait. In the meantime, the house is a disaster-- we have more stuff than we have space for (which is exciting for me bc I love the freedom in downsizing!) I will be back as soon as I get a chance. Other than a few brief visits here and there, it will probably be a couple weeks before I'm back in full effect! See you then! IP: Logged |

Hello dear friends!! I'm still not online a lot other than at work... but I should have a new laptop by the end of the month, so I'll have more access when I'm at home. (Hubby brings his home, but this is a busy time for him, so hijacking his computer is not usually an option as of late...)But I do have another announcement-- Mr. Virgo and I are expecting a baby this May!! Another Taurus to go with my 8 yo little bull, and more Venus to match my (nearly) 2 yo Libra monster-princess. Hubby and I have strong Libra in our charts, as well-- lotsa Venus goin' on at our place! Right now I'm mostly sick and tired, but I'm ready to be ecstatic once this passes. Love to all of you-- I'll be back before I know it! IP: Logged |

Thank you both muchly!I started taking some vitamin B6 yesterday to help with the nausea-- I'm feeling marginally better today. For now I'm just a big whiny baby until this sick/tired phase passes. I'm no fun at all. I can't wait to get back to LindaLand! IP: Logged |

Congratulation's on your children new and old, and congratulations on your (I assume) harmonious square relationship. My sister just had her child in June -but late, a Cancer- and she's getting into a better mood. However, her older daughter (3) rather drags her down through ridiculous power trips and games(Gemini moon, which my sister can't seem to anticipate, as I so easily see what she's doing. My sister's born on the day of the Iconoclast, so she's not the most resourceful, but criticizes things she can't do. Her daughter is born on the day of Societal Awareness (one day earlier) so I need not explain. I got these Titles from "the secret language of birthdays" by gary goldschneider and joost elffers. I'll copy yours... ------------------ Sun: Pisces Moon: Libra Rising: Scorpio IP: Logged |

-The Day of Soaring Imagination-Those born on said date are among the most imaginative people in the year. This is not to underestimate their physical side, however, which is highly developed and stakes out it's claims on their personality well. As a matter of fact, one of the major themes in the lives of said date people concerns transcending physical limitations of the body and reaching for the stars. Said date people are not the easiest to live with. Emotional problems of all sorts plague them, usually a result of their complex nature. Those living with them must be extraordinarily understanding and sensitive to their needs, not the very least of which may be a need for periodic solitude. Indeed some born on this day must be their own world to work effectively. Thus they do better away from offices and organizations, in an environment where the demands they meet are primarily there own. blahblahblahblahblahblah, sorry but this is really boring to read and type, especially since there is a whole lot on everyday, that was a paragraph and a half. out of the whole thing it was like three eighths of what is here.. I suppose we are the same in the last sentence I wrote: "they do better away from offices and organizations, in an environment where the demands they meet are primarily there own." uhg.. but here's the meditation: The storms of life eventually blow over Your number's 7, the sixteenth tarot card is the tower, strengths are: visionary, Imaginative, Guided while weaknesses are Impractical, out-of-touch, and troubled. I was considering doing a thread which I would write everyone's who requested birthday generalized information, but am now thinking highly against it, just cause there's so much. but perhaps I'll do just the title, strengths and weaknesses, tarot card in the major arcana, number (though I'm sure everyone knows it) and meditation. And maybe some famous people born on the day. for you by the way, Ludwig Beethoven was born on the same day, and that's all I've heard of before reading this huge list of them. IP: Logged |
