Hi Wheels! How sweet of you to look in on me. The poems are coming, but I've had to stop again due to the fact that I haven't had a smoke in about ten days. I haven't yet learned how to write without a cigarette in my hand. Sadly, I miss my wine, but I don't want to drink until I'm sure I can get by without nicotine, so I'm a goody two shoes these days. I've surprised myself. How are things a la casa de queso?

Hello, Friends! I keep lurking around here, but I'm so confused as to who is new and who is new again. I suppose I should just jump in somewhere. Anyway, I submitted some poems to a lit journal at school-- they were accepted and I won an award. I'm kinda happy about that, but it's still not where I want to be... I know I can do better, things just aren't coming out right. Oh, well-- it's a start! I've missed you guys, though. Hopefully I'll find my way around sooner or later. Cheers! IP: Logged |

Thanks, wheels! I can't wait until I have more time to devote to writing-- it's so hard to get in the "zone" with the little ones around. So it's a step forward, anyway-- I'll be happy about that. For now I may be slow, but I am moving! And how are things for you these days? IP: Logged |

Oh, Future, in response to the last note you left on my own thread, I KNOW you get me. All over this forum your words have resonated so well with me. And aside from the obvious indication of our conjunct Moons, I just get the feeling that you can (and do!) understand me extremely well. IP: Logged |

Hello FUTURE; I was most intrigued with the convo between you and SCORPIONIC, especially the part about the mercury placements. So Yours being in CAPPY makes you a bit less inclined to emotional outbursts and such, is that what the gist of it was? Mine is in SCORP and I have been known to have emotional outbursts at very inappropriate times, which seems to get worst with age, and seems very foreign to my lIBRA moon and SAG sun. That was a very interesting discussion. Any way, just popping in your thread to let you know I was thinkin of ya. IP: Logged |

Aaaaw man. I've missed your thread. I've been laughing at the Bob Dylans. It made me miss the one formerly known as snohawk. Thanks future uncertain. I remembered to check in from another thread. I didn't even realise that you'd asked me about my trip to the hospital. And on that note, I'm fine. Thank you for asking. Yeah. You definitely have a great vibe. And, that story of wheels and the hairy arm in the bog. Still makes my skin crawl. I'm like an absent minded, erratic professor, and I'm not saying that cause you have this kinky love for professors. It's just that when I was reading your thread, at first I thought I've never read it them BAM it all started coming back to me. Well, if I've never said so before, you're a very beautiful lady. beautiful with a great energy. It's like wheels. And so, I'll read more as I'm i'm only a few pages in. I'll also visit to check up. do you require another oddball fact? In case you do, here's one: I like banana sandwiches. *thank God I thought of something. I've staring at the screen for a while trying to think of something* IP: Logged |

Greetings, Future_Uncertain Just posting to say that I've been wanting to view and post on this thread of yours for quite some time, but haven't found time to. I haven't viewed any of the preceding posts, so I'd just like to let you know that, I truly admire you for being a very graceful, intelligent, friendly, considerate, and warm lady. You are one of the positive influences here at LL. I'll be back at a later time, Future_Uncertain. Probably for quite another while, since it's been a period of time of upheavals and turmoil for me, and my fellow mourning fans of our own loved one. I've been fascinated with all the Sag girls on this site lately. Well, I've always been fascinated with you, future. Just wanted to say: You Rock! and also: Ho-deee-hooo!Oh, yeah, I'm one of the "old timers" in spirit here. Haven't posted much but I'm gaining momentum now! So, where can we read some of your lovely poems? quote: Which takes me to another thing I've noticed... I'm something of an emotional rescuer. I know when someone needs validation and escape from repression and I've learned that I'm a good avenue for that. I go out of my way to make sure people don't get stomped on or teased for who they are. Even when I was young, and still now, when I see that someone has become the subject of ridicule, I tend to throw myself in their way, so to speak, as to take the attention from them and put myself up for criticism. It's an odd thing, but I can't stand to see an honest, vulnerable soul get hurt. Especially by the clueless minds and tongues of the general, unaware population. It's hard to explain, but that's what I do. True to my sign, I'm a die hard fan of the underdog!
Oh, man, I do the same thing! Only I have Neptune exactly conjunct my Sun. After a bit of emotional rescuing I can no longer tell whether I'm the one rescuing or the one being rescued. IP: Logged |

Hello friends! I keep meaning to respond, but I can't seem to get a minute alone without my little one crawling up on my lap. In fact, she's playing with my fingers as I type this, like she does when she's sleepy.Ahhhhh, the joys of parenthood! I know someday I'll look back and wish they were small again, so I try not to wish it away. I have such a big need for alone time, and these days it's scarce. That's life, I suppose. It's kind of depressing that we always seem to want what we don't have, then when we get it we want it back the other way. Or maybe I'm just impossible to please! lol. Oh, well. I suppose that's the challenge to which we're supposed to rise. I know that there's a certain liberation to be found in freeing oneself from desire, but without desire, where is the will to continue? Perhaps I just have a lot to learn. I hope I learn fast because time keeps slip, slip, slipping away... Bummer, huh? Don't mind me... I can be a cynical wench at times, I suppose. I hope to respond to you guys tomorrow. IP: Logged |

oh Future, I have been where you are. At a computer just trying for a moment for myself. Wishing a child could entertain themselves for just awhile! Wondering if I made the right decision, feeling boxed in! I totally get it! You are WISE to be aware not to wish it away! My oldest turned 18 in feb, we had a huge party in a rented place for her. DJ, balloons, the whole enchilada. I cried for the last hour of the party. Then she requested to the DJ, she wanted to dance with me to one song. She asked for "My Girl" by the Temptations. Because she remembered me singing that to her when she was little. It was so bittersweet! On the video, you can't tell who is holding up who, we were both crying by then. Then she moved in with her boyfriend. I watched 18 years of stuff being carried out of my house as memories flashed through my mind. It was soo difficult. Then she just graduated. More tears. My son is 13, he is very loving, and very sweet and MOMMA'S boy, but even he won't dally long for hugs and kisses. My baby girl is 10. She still has some baby chub on her cheeks, which I squeeze often, much to her dismay! She is going to her first concert, Hannah Montana, in Oct. CHERISH, cherish, cherish is my word for you. It does get better, I swear! IP: Logged |

I believe that the greatest lesson to be learned is how to find beauty and balance in this internal struggle. Sometimes it seems there is nothing to find. Things are just ugly and boring and heavy and absolute. But then there are times when you catch a glimpse of something. Hope? Love? The Divine? It's always there. We just have to remember that we can never stop looking for it. We should never stop. IP: Logged |
