Have I missed something? I've gone backwards through the posts and don't see what's happening here. Why all the congratulations?

Hey Future;
How are you, how have you been?
Any morning sickness? My daughter is plagued with it.
I didnt have any with my third, I was hoping that for you.
She found she might share her b-day with the baby! She had an ultrasound today, and they were saying last week of feb (she's born on the 28th) or first week of march. What is your due date???
I hope your doing well, I know it's early yet, but have you thought what sex you'd like to have and any names for he/she?
We bought a car seat and a fold up crib thing for my daughter. It was weird buying baby stuff, that won't be mine. It is sort of bittersweet to realize that part of your life is over, (which technically it ISN'T because I still can conceive, but, no, I don't think that would be a very good idea)
So, my warmest wishes are with you, and I hope to speak with you soon.

Hello dear friends!

I've been terribly morning sick. I'm just now getting back to some level of normalcy. Morning sickness hits me pretty hard. Thankfully this is the last time!

My estimated due date is March 20th. I haven't had an ultrasound yet to confirm. I figure the baby will come out sooner or later regardless!

Thanks for the thoughts and wishes!

My 2 year-old daughter says we're having a pink baby named Tinkerbell, so we shall see! I don't care if it's a girl or a boy, just so long as it's not a girl and a boy. My belly is huge for 10 1/2 weeks! Did this happen to any other 3rd time mommies? It's crazy!

Like I said, I'm just getting back into the swing of things, so I should be here more in the upcoming weeks. Thanks for thinking of me!

So glad to hear from you finally, was starting to worry.....
Yes my third baby showed immediately! I had the duck walk in the first trimester, or at least the beginning of the third.
They say the muscles are already stretched and all that lovely stuff....
Sorry to hear about your morning sickness. My daughter has some drops the doctors gave her. She puts them in her drink and promptly upchucks the whole concoction, thereby proving, some things you just have to live with, *sighs* Problem being, the sound of someone getting sick, makes me get sick, so as soon as she runs outta the bathroom, I run in it gagging. hahaha. It gets amusing.
Her due date is now officially March 10th.

Let us know when you expect Tinkerbell, and take good care of yourself. I'll be thinking of you <<<<< passes Future a box of saltines >>>>> xoxox

Awwww... sorry about your "sympathy" morning sickness! That must be a sight. Since it's my thread and I say it's okay to share vomit stories, I'll pass along this little tale:

Without failure, the first thing I do every morning is run to the bathroom and throw up. This I refer to as my daily visit with Mr. Pukey Man. Everyone knows that when they hear the wretching, Mr. Pukey Man has come to call. He's become a household name.

Interestingly, my daughter has stopped peeing in the toilet (pee stories are okay now, too. I'll just make these rules as I go.) and has begun peeing in front of the toilet. This has been stumping me for a few weeks now. Until yesterday.

We were in the car and heading home when she announced that she needed to go potty. When I told her we'd be home soon she told me that she peed all over Mr. Pukey Man this morning-- "all over his eyes and face."

So I asked her, "Where did you see Mr. Pukey Man?"

"Well, he lives in the potty, right Mommy?"

Aha-- lightbulb moment. She went on to tell me that he scares her and she doesn't like to use the toilet now. So, in my effort to make light of the horrible vomiting sounds, I ended up scaring her even more. What can ya do??

OMG! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the funniest thing I have heard in a loooooooooooong time. hold on, cant type yet.

okay, whew, got tears on that one.

Yeah, maybe you'd better tell her that Mr. Pukey Man moved out and lives at the neighbors house or something. I don't know how you could cover up those sounds though!

Can we talk about poop too?
When my daughter was potty training, she had issues with flushing...She refused to do it. And she would cry if I did it.
It was driving me crazy with these daily issues.
One day I walked by the bathroom and she was on her knees staring into the potty with her hand on the flusher.
Me: Erica, what are you doing???
Her: I'm saying goodbye Mommy
Me: To who honey???
Her: (pointing in the pot) To them, their wike my famwee

OMG! I laughed so hard. Then my older two kids said, "Yeah mom, she names them didn't you know that?"

So no wonder it was so hard to flush!!!
I still tease her about it to this day, LOL, I know, big shrink bill coming my way!

Gypsee-- that's hilarious! "They're wike my famwee." Too precious, even if it is about poo.

Little kids are so funny about their bodies at this age. I have a lot more stories along these lines. Maybe we should start a thread sometime just for laughs.

LOL! Right! I already asked you one question (in the Soul Unions thread) about how the Sag sun/Libra moon affects you. This reminds me of another: I do have a really vulgar sense of humor, but the Libra part of me wishes I were more dignified at times. And at times I am. But I always kind of feel like I'm faking just a little!

Future, I am thinking about you and hoping you're alright. Really sorry to hear about your troubles, you are so strong. I would offer some healing, loving advice but in my current state of mind I'm likely to say "Throw him out, just bin him, take him to the Goodwill, run off with the postman, sell the baby to Madonna, come with me to Yemen" you know and it's just not all that helpful. But I am thinking about you.

Thanks, Wheels.

You shouldn't tempt me with wild ideas like that-- I have a hard enough time keeping myself grounded!

I'll be alright. It helped so much just to talk about it. I feel refreshed. Now I can send good, strong thoughts his way instead of the ugly ones I was sending.

Yes Future i have a raunchy, terribly embarressing sense of humour.
Embaressing to others, not me.
As far as the Libra Moon reighning me in with a donk of class on my head. UH no.
I mean I can be very proper around authority figures and children, and of course the elderly.
But thats about it.
I don't have that switch that is supposed to monitor what you say.
Of course I am alot better with age, heheh, like wine and all that.
BUT, it is always there lurking.
I have the same sense of humour as my 13 year old son, so that should tell you something.
Nope I don't feel bad about it, life is too short, and besides, we're all supposed to be unique, so exactly who would I be impersonating if I wasn't me?
It's frightening. God Forbid I would morph into my Mother or something!

Yep, Gypsee... that sounds a lot like me. Except, like I said, I'm a little bi-polar about it. I, too, have equated my sense of humor with that of a teenage boy. Then that Libra moon tells me to straighten up!

I think a Libra moon is kind of a hard one to have... such a moody little thing. If things aren't just so... And of course, that definition of "just so" changes daily.

I've become good at making decisions, but the waffling that goes on in my head drives me freakin' bonkers at times!!

Yes. O do I ever know what you mean.

In another thread someone was saying that Sag's don't commit, we don't stick to anything, blah blah blah, plus you add the Libra Moon to it, and it SEEMS true on the surface, but after digging a bit, what I see, is that our decisions and our feelings dont really change, it is more like the INTENSITY of them are constantly changing.

It does feel bi-polar though. I thought I was bi-polar, I went to a pschologist, he said I wasn't so, okay.
But still I wonder.

I guess I (and maybe you too) appear moody because that sense of wanting things 'right' all the time is totally unrealistic and we simply cannot get the world to conform to our ideal.

Like have you ever had a day where everything was going along great and the DUMBEST thing totally ruins your whole mood? Like this evening, my neighbor was mowing his grass at like 9 pm. and the sound just cut right through me like a knife and I changed moods like *snap*

It is tough to live with.

You could be my soul sister!

I, too, have asked my therapist time and again if he's "sure" I'm not bi-polar! lol. A little anxiety, a little depression here and there, but, otherwise good to go.

It is weird how the slightest thing will totally change my mood. I know too well what you're talking about. For me it feels like I'm overly sensitive to my environment, including the people around me. It can be tough to deal with at times!

You know what Future, I just hit another thread and it send me to yours, so I guess I should be here.

Lemme tell ya a little story....
So they went to the grocery the other day, and they said, "make a list of what you want, and we'll get it, plus what we want"

okay. Pretty simple, yes?

So, the way I make a list is, plan each days dinner, and write those ingredients, then add any extra stuff I might want.

The only thing I wanted for my own self was, tomatoes, salad mix, artichoke hearts, and rigatoni (pasta noodles).

So they get home, and it is always MY job to unpack everything while they just flop on the couch. Guess what was missing? Every single thing I asked for.
I mean wtf?
Now most people would question it, and move on. But it has bothered me SO MUCH for 3 days now.
I keep tossing it over and over in my head. Ok, I can see forgetting one or two items, but all four??? Is this some kind of passive aggressive way to pi$$ me off? Am I that unimportant that it doesn't matter if I get what I want from the grocery, as long as they have what they want? and on, and on....

Most people don't think like that do they? At least I think they probably don't.
So when you say about your moods flipping, I totally GET it. Sometimes I show it, and sometimes I suck it up.

I don't think a Libra Moon is happy with a Sag sun. Just my opinion. It's like the Sag wants to throttle everyone and everything so it can be perfect and peaceful, LOL, what is this irony???

And pregnancy hormones on top. You are entitled to any fluctuating moods you have. If anyone says anything, you just send them my way, I'll give them the what for and then send them to the grocery for penance!

I hope your having a nice weekend doll!

Hi, Gypsee.

Sorry it's been so long. I just posted a bit in my Soul Unions thread, so there's my explanation. I'd wonder if someone forgot all my grocery items, too. But then, some people say I take things too personally. Meh...

Does your daughter know what kind of baby she's having? We found out we're having another girl. Yikes! I was kind of hoping boy just because girls scare me a little.

But I'll gladly take another little princess.

We've tentatively decided to call her Karly (this would be a shortened form of her full name.) Interestingly, when I was pregnant with my other daughter, my neighbor in my old town told me she had a dream that I named the baby Karly. At the time I thought to myself that I didn't care for the name at all. It wasn't until I had kicked the name around for a few weeks (for this baby) that I remembered this story. Kinda weird, huh?

Anyway, some things have been great lately and some things have been kinda crappy. I'll take the good with the bad for the time being and take steps to get rid of some of the yuckiness in the future. It's all I can do for now.

This has been a very, very long few years. I'll be 33 next month and I feel like I've aged tremendously in a very short period of time. It's weird... when I was 30 I felt young and now I feel old, and it has nothing to do with my number. I need to get out from under some things that have closed in on me since then. Funny how that happens without our noticing.

Forward, forward, forward...

Looking for the sunshine!

Hi, Valus. Right you are. I wish walking away from life for a while was as easy as stepping away from the computer.

I'm prone to bouts of depression, but I've never before experienced such a long duration. And of such a low grade that I'm still fully functional. Honestly, I think it's better to have a good, full-on meltdown now and then, ball up into the fetal position for a few days, then get on with things. This robotic rut is killing me. Not good for the soul, I'm thinkin'.

The end of the haul isn't near, but it's in sight... and I suppose I take some comfort in that. My anxieties kick in when I consider the time lost from the onset until now, and then now until I can get out. I've become a bit neurotic about the passage of time. I've gotten quite lost inside myself during this time, and I'm hoping that once I'm outside again, I'll remember how to walk.

I need that, I need to know that so very desperately. Soon enough (but then, not soon enough) I shall see for myself!

I'm 34, and I've been feeling the same way. I've also become neurotic about the passage of time, and have been trying to get over it - trying to relax and enjoy what I have in my life, and think of things to look forward to, instead of the lost time.
