JAMAICA is the ONLY Caribbean country that the Americans have NOT been a part of... the rest of the Caribbean is SO AMERICANIZED!!!

Amowls - it is in the Caribbean and yet it is the only country that is independent from the Caribbean... i have practically lived in Jamaica so i know about Jamaica.

I know it IS... my family have farmed in Jamaica for 200 years.

The Caribbean is run by the americans... except Jamaica. THIS is why i say to the JAMAICANS it is NOT in the Carib. To the REST of the WORLD, it IS IS IS IS IS in the Carib.

Yeah yeah I get that you were trying to say that Jamaica shouldn't count in AIDS statistics when talking about the Caribbean, however, no one else, least of all people that compile statistics, care about whether Jamaica is like the rest of the Caribbean or not so long as it's in the region.

That being said, as a person with an STD it is MY RESPONSIBILITY to inform others before having sex with them. And this is what I've done.

What he did is WRONG. It was IMMORAL and UNETHICAL to not tell her BEFORE they had sex. He acted like he was ok and that there was nothing wrong giving her a FALSE sense of SAFETY. for that he is the biggest d-bag and SK I strongly advise you take whatever legal action possible.

He KNEW before hand and therefore KNEW what harm he could cause. This is a MALICIOUS act and completely his responsibility. NO ONE should make a decision to change your life but you, and by lying to you SK that is exactly what he did.

why does everyone need to be the ideal perfect person. It doesnt exist. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion its called freedom of speech and so as long as someone in hereisn't getting insulted what's the point of argueing now? Is there someone here from the Carribean thats offended? who in here is from Thailand?

and quite frankly I would think not twice, but even reconsider even sleeping with someone from Thailand and Africa for that matter, reason being is because it is spread around those countries like the flu and majority of the people there don't even know they have it. WHATS WRONG WITH BEING CAUTIOUS ? Whats wrong with having an opinion?

I suggest all of those people who are being so protective over nothing go sleep with them then and let us all know if you catch anything so we can reconsider how we think.

and NO this isn't about being racist either. I'm not mocking them or rejecting them from my world I think Lara is just stating something that is a fact. Everyone should be careful, just extra careful in certain countries.

When I come back from overseas to Australia we have to fill out forms and pass a health check if we have gone to Africa in the last 14 days. Does that mean the Australian government is racist?

My cousin wasn't allowed out of Australia until his chlamydia cleared up so they stop us from spreading our diseases too.

STD's need to be tracked and monitored and contained to prevent them from becoming an unnecessary epidemic.

I bet in America they do the same thing as the Australian Government and advise people to be extra careful with protection when you travel to places like Tijuana, Mexico or other South American countries.

I bet they tell you not to drink the tap water too.
