Topic: HOW DO YOU HEAL FROM A LOST LOVE?

(Virgo Sun)I allow myself to cry over it for a while and then perform a releasing ritual (I'm pagan) and think about what the relationship taught me and brought me, how I've grown, what I've gained and resolved. But then I tend to go into a bit of moody, sulky phase and feel a bit sorry for myself, romanticise the relationship, feel nostalgic and wonder 'what if'. After I snap out of that I quickly want to move on! lol So I typically try to make friends with the ex and make sure everything's on good terms and wish him happiness for his future relationships. =) Johnny

I go into the "what if" phase too azakeal lol it's questions to yourself about what you did wrong or if you could have done something to save the relationship. 
Then try to shake it off somehow lol

In America, there are shooting ranges. Stress relief on paper targets is definitely not advocated, but I do partake from time to time. There is also a punching bag in my basement.IP: Logged |

The last relationship I did my best to have a peaceful break-up, I wanted a mutual understanding and acceptance that it wasn't going to work out and that we separate peacefully and be civil. It didn't work out that way. She wanted me to stay and I did and then the games started with a lot of just negative dark feelings and guilt trips, name calling and you guys know how that goes. It turned out horribly to say the least and I really learned to just leave when I see the red flags and to not feel guilty about leaving because when it's not a healthy mature relationship it's just going to hurt more to stay than to leave. I think you're officially over someone when you stop thinking about them still being in your life every day! Like wondering if they'd like a movie you're watching, or a song you hear, or wondering what they're doing or what they'd do if they suddenly ran into you. And you stop having imaginary conversations with them.I cant wait for that day... *sigh* ------------------
