tPluto is in my 8th house and I have 5 planets progressed into Scorpio at the moment.

Thanks for understanding. Sorry you've had an ordeal, too...that's a lot of planets in Scorpio! Pluto in the 8H...luckily I should be dead before it hits mine.

Some moments every day I get this feeling that I'm thinking of as "the Pluto feeling" where the bottom seems to drop out from under me, and I know I have to operate from a gut level. Almost like I get so uncomfortable if I don't "obey" that feeling, I can't stand it. So I have no choice. Though...yes, it's almost weirdly comforting to have a guide...like a sixth sense coming alive.

Gonna answer you on other threads and with email.

Oh but Ceri...one thing...how come nobody told me the vestal virgins have sex? What an awkward mistake...

I'm sorry, I haven't read through the comments.

But, I was just contemplating my comfort level with Neptune/Saturn (which are both hitting my Sun/Moon/NN right now, yay) vs my comfort with Pluto/Uranus (which hit my Pluto/Uranus/Saturn about a year ago).

I am waaaayyy more comfortable with Pluto and Uranus than I am with Neptune and Saturn (all of them are pretty active in my chart).

I'm not sure why.

Ps
I haven't really peeped in here for months, so I may or may not peep in again.

Yeah its a misconception, though I think in Roman days they actually were celibate.

But in the original sense Virgin just meant "not married" and "not having children", but they did have sex for spiritual and ritualistic purposes.

Nevermind, I'm not reading through the comments. I glanced through the first page. I'm simply going to comment on Pluto transits and my comfort with them. Hi, Faith!

Faith,
I'm not trying to be mean but you do come across as a smarta** sometimes. So it's easy to see why you might offend and/or **** people off. It's weird because sometimes you can be nice and other times it's like you are constantly mocking people in a passive aggressive and mean-spirited way. And sometimes this side of you just comes out of nowhere and it's like "wtf?". I don't know if you are trying to be playful and completely oblivious to how you are coming across to others or what, but things you say can definitely comes across as hateful. You dont come across as playful like me and Odette do when we are picking at each other, for example. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don't realize this. So I'm just going to be brutally honest and tell you straight-up so you'll be aware. If you were a guy and you said some of the things I've seen you say here to other guys alot of them would want to fight you. Your mouth would definitely get you into a lot more trouble if you had been born with the male anatomy. Also, I don't think T is the best role model for you. I say this because you seem to worship the ground she walks on and she is quite possibly the biggest smarta** in all of human history. She is so bad that she even managed to make Randall visibly angry on a few occasions and he is by far the most calm and level headed person on this board. So yeah.... There's the 3rd house mars and moon truth for you. Hopefully, you can take these things into consideration and make some changes that might prevent alot of problems and headaches you might otherwise face. Like I said, I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just being honest. Since I've been giving you tough love I'll also say that I genuinely like you when you aren't being a smarta**. So yeah.... There it is right out on the table. Take it however you will.

Violets,

I experience it the same way as you!

Pluto-Uranus transits seem to be a walk in the sun compared to the swampiness of Saturn-Neptune-transits, though I recently been through a slew of squars of Tr Saturn to my Moon, and was surprised how amazingly constructive those were!

Sorry, Faith, I love Pluto, too!

Pluto square Sun, conjunct Moon and Midheaven
Mercury, Venus, Mars in the 8th

I'm not uncomfortable with Pluto. I think, if anything, strong Pluto influence in a birth chart gives a person a high TOLERANCE of discomfort. Things that freak other people out or make them uneasy don't really bother me.

It always kind of surprises me, actually, when people describe a certain topic or situation as "scary" or "depressing." Some people just want everything to be light and bright, every moment of the day, and start squirming and shrinking when things get hard-hitting and nitty-gritty. But, Pluto allows me to handle that. To certain people, if it's not something you can laugh about or have fun with, they have no idea what to do or say. I'm not like that and I know how resourceful that makes me.

I wouldn't give up Pluto for anything and the thing is that I'd never be able to, even if I wanted to! The more you see Pluto as your friend, the more he'll enrich you and benefit you. The more you see him as your enemy who makes your living so tormented and difficult, the more that'll be true.

Violets!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for dropping by, I've been missing you like crazy. And I appreciate hearing about Saturn vs Pluto.

Good luck with your transits, I feel like you and I are both in a War with the Worlds. Well when Saturn turns around again.

*hug*

I hope your move went well?

Hope to see you around again, though I am always trying to quit LL too. Well you have my email.

I don't notice myself ever being passive- aggressive. I'm either passive or aggressive. Last time you told me off, I was just telling you my experiences, and you took everything like I was arguing, just because my experiences contradicted your assumptions. But I was trying to get something through to you.

As for the rest, okay I'll make a note of it.

And leave T alone. I love her. I can love anyone I want, for my own reasons.

Love is not a crime.

Faith,
Just to let you know that is not what i'm talking about. I'm talking about random things you'll sometimes say in the middle of otherwise nice conversations that make me think "wtf?where did that come from?" It used to happen with more frequency when we weren't getting along but it still happens on occasion. For privacy sake I'm not going to give specific examples but you get the idea. And I never said you shouldn't like T. I'm just saying that you shouldn't aspire to be like her because she has a talent for p*ssing people off. So if you don't want to offend people or make them mad don't act like T.

Well T knows what I think of her behavior when she is around. I've told her on here myself. I've went on the record several times and told her I think she acts like a drunk when she signs on and tries to needle random people. I say that because everyone has hung out with one of those annoying drunks that gets argumentative and will say things that make you just want to grab them and shake them. And that's what she brings to my mind when she posts the majority of the time. Of course even she has those rare occasions when she'll act normal and will actually participate in discussions without being disruptive or taking shots at people. And when she acts like that she fine. I have said all of these things before, it's no secret. I'm a very open person.

Well I haven`t read your convos I think, but it surprised me to read it, cause to me you never came across as mean or sarcastic or passive-aggressive.
I always experience you in our talks as supportive and downright enthusiastic, and also thoughtful and reflective and very honest.

Maybe I jsut haven`t met your shadow self yet.

Or my chart simply latches onto different parts of yours and so I donīt see that side of you, even if you come across like that to others.

I think - among other things - having compatible Mercuries is a true blessing.
Actually I am just looking at your chart on my solar fire (yes astro stalker I know ).

And in terms of personal planet aspects there is not much tension I see.

While our Moons are in different elements, yours is trine my Saturn, and it falls into my 3rd house, so the mental channels are always open to me (might be different for your 8th house, though it means both our 8th house planets are trine in a water sign, so even that is a positive thing)

Your Mercury sextiles my Mars-ASC, granted it also squares my Uranus, but so I should be the one annoying the heck out of you, though it might help that Uranus is dispositing your Mercury anyway

I do not really need to talk about your Venus, do I?
Conjunct my Mars-ASC and with a bit wider orb Neptune-NN, square to Jupiter is totally nice as well.

Your Mars trines my Moon pretty exact.

My Sun-Mercury conjuncts your Vertex

My Moon on your Sun/Moon-mp and trine your Mars and sextile your Jupiter.
No complaining here. lol

My Venus sextile your Uranus exact

Our ASCS are trine and yours is even more closely trine my Neptune-NN

your Mercury trine my MC exact.
Well not sure what to make of my Uranus on your IC - you would have to tell me!

The only thing really that I can find is my Saturn opposing your Sun, but again, Saturn disposits your Sun anyway.

oh and your Saturn square my Uranus, not sure about how important that one is but it is rather close.

Hmm, though falling in love with the same guy could turn out being rather problematic, and I would probably be on the losing side with your fiery Aries-Lilith opposing your and my Pluto.

So it might be just our synastry that colours my view on you.

Having said that I can see how some of the things you say might be taken the wrong (like, unintended) way and may be taken more personally than it was maybe meant to, when I see your Aqua-Mercury opposing Saturn and square uranus.
With Mercury also ruling your 3rd house.

Plus Pluto IN the 3rd house opposing Lilith in 9th - yeah, remind me to never cross any lines in terms of principles or beliefs or ideas that are really important to you.
I would even consider it a t-square to the Sun, your chartruler.

Hi Faith~
I didn't read all the comments, but I'm in agreement with Ceri about not wanting to change my pluto. I have it squaring my sun and venus. I thought I was strange and hideous for a long time (still have moments of that) but then I started gravitating towards other Plutonians and things got much better. The guy I'm currently talking to has Moon Sq Pluto.
The last one had mars and venus sq pluto. So they understand the crazy intensity.

Not a huge fan of Pluto transits. I have it on my MC right now. But I much prefer pluto transits to Saturn. Saturn feels like you are wearing cement shoes and the clock never moves it's hands, ugh.

Thanks so much Ceri.

Wish I had more time and a better emotional landscape inside to reply to everything...maybe later. I really appreciate everyone's input.

Just wanted to apologize for my comment earlier when I said that I feel like everything is BS. It's an overstatement. I'm sure everyone has the same frustrations with red tape, things being outdated, not running as well as you would like. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.

Oh and I was kidding about astro-stalking as well. LOL

Anyone who has my birth info is free to look at it however they like. I was just being silly.

Violets, that's very interesting. You may be more comfortable with Uranus-Pluto because you have this aspect in your natal and are familiar with the energy. But then you say Saturn and Neptune are active in your chart as well. But, if you don't have a natal Saturn-Neptune aspect, that may be why it's harder for you.

As a comparison, I have Sun conjunct Pluto and Moon conjunct Uranus natally. The Uranus-Pluto transit was in hard aspect to Moon-Uranus. Other than seeing Plutonic eruptions in women I worked with, I experienced the creative side of the transit and Uranus propelled me forward in a big way. I have no Cap in my chart, only one Saturn aspect and a fire-water chart, so I'm not enamored with Saturn transits.

Faith,

I am the first to understand a little over-dramatizing for effect (of course there is a core of truth in all we say, but hey, if all world`s a stage, then we sure can be a little theatrical now and then; that`s fun - well Jupiter in 3rd house, maybe just my personal idea of fun).

Pluto - like all of the outers- can be a real pain in the a**, I agree with that.
But like with the human pain in the a** in my life (or brushing my life occasionally) would I want to miss him, despite all of the drama and mess and havoc they both create (Pluto and him)?

No, and partly the reason for this is that I know that I need these experiences, especially if getting too complacent, I need being pinched and pushed out of my comfort zone (okay, more like dragged out of there kicking and biting and screaming).
And on some weird level it feels satisfying, because I know that this is what I need, even though I have occasionally wished for a less complicated personality or life or whatever that is.

But jeez, how boring would that be!
This intensity and cathartic cycles are just a part of me and my life, and no, I wouldn`t want to miss them,e vent hough going through them, I surely moan about them and wish them to the underworld with Pluto.
