Am i crazy or what, but this red outfit looks totally normal to me, to wear in public. Not specifically my style, but still- i would blink if i see someone wearing that piece.
Ive been looking at it/ staring for a good minute, and I still dont get it what qualifies it as " not to be seen in public" label. .. Daawmn

LOL Orange.

Well, maybe it`s just my stuffed, boring Capricorn-Venus.
And maybe I just WANT to hear that it can be worn.
And maybe I do have a possible occasion (or two actually) in mind, but am just unsure, though the range on these occasions (clothes-wise) seems to reach from (mostly) Jeans and T-shirt to some more party-like clothes (but more rarely), so I would totally stick out wearing this (but then again I tend to stick out anyway. lol).
so maybe I have to think about another occasion. lol

Just wear it, hun. This outfit makes you sooo happy, I can see how much you enjoy it. I like the red color, the free flowing sleeves, the front ties are sexy and cute, the waist tight fit. It's meant to be worn by someone who really enjoys it. Put it on and let the breeze play with it and your hair. Amen to that.

I sort of thought the same thing, but I figured it's more a reflection of where I've lived?

Where I was for a good portion of my life, literally ANYTHING goes, lol.
There was a guy who would walk around my neighborhood, and his hair and beard would be dyed whatever color of suit he was wearing that day...could be purple, could be rainbow...

Another dude walked around dressed like Link from The Legend of Zelda.

Ceridwen Stawr and Ursusblack Thank you guys my cancer moon is just too shy to wear it in public hehehe. But is this a venus-pluto trait to have a hidden maybe slightly "taboo" fashion sense that we secretly long to wear ? hehe. Have you guys ever also gotten strong reactions for your choice of clothing style even if its nothing biggie about it? because i have and i am starting to think it might come from my pluto-venus aspect.

You could rock this Ceri. I say get some black leggings or "skinny" trousers to team with it. Some cute shoes and you will be set. This Venus Oppo Pluto sees the potential!

Mine was never hidden...but I made sure that I lived in an area where I didn't feel the need to hide it (and I do also have Sun/True BML conjunct in H8, so I'm not much afraid of taboos).

But yes, I used to get strong reactions to what I was wearing, and occasionally I still do, even though my style has mellowed considerably.

Whether it's noticing my boots, or just looks for reasons I can't necessarily dissect...I don't like attention when I can't poinpoint the reason for it, lol.

That top looks like something you wear to bed with your partner with a thong on underneath it before you have him take it all off of you.

You guys are going to have her out here getting approached by Johns. DONT WEAR THIS OUTSIDE THE HOUSE.

^^^ Hmm, it definitely depends on HOW she styles this.
As long as she wears bottoms with it, I'm sure the Johns will leave her alone! It's definitely NOT a dress. It's a tunic - as long as she remembers that... It's ok lol.

I'd be disappointed if you didn't It may not be something what you usually wear but it's a nice piece of clothing so why not?

Dreaminess, I wouldn't call that lipstick very dark. It suits you so I don't see why you shouldn't use it.

Thank you I really like lipstick and find it beautiful on women but i have never been very comfortable using it myself but maybe i`ll give it a try one day.

No matter what pants, that top is sending out the wrong signals. Red, and black lace?

OP dont wear that in public.

They are only colours and material 😕
You can't see her cleavage and it's not extremely tight or revealing. It's not even see through. So, it's definitely not a babydoll (which is sleeveless) which you would wear in the bedroom with your Mr.

If you like it Ceri and you feel confident, wear it! If anything, to me it looks gothic. Me personally, I've seen ALOT worse.

I would wear that to anyplace I wanted.

@Ceridwen: Wear the Red Raven the next time you go out for dinner or have drinks with friends! The black pants seem to have some sheen to them, so they're a fun, spicy complement to the top.

@Dreaminess: Wear the the lipstick -- plum is in!

I love the hat and the white and black shirt/jacket you're wearing with it too.

Let your freak flags fly, girls!

My Scorpio Moon conjunct Pluto doesn't mind going out with dark purple lipstick. haha

Yes, I get strong reactions from my choices sometimes. Whenever I wear clothes from Mejers, strangers will stop and compliment me. (of all places)
Sometimes the people closest to me will express their concerns.
boyfriend: so what's with your outfit today?
me: I got this skirt at thrift store up north
boyfriend: you're wearing a leather skirt, you're dressed like a prostitute.
me: Leather is just a piece of material, I don't see what the big deal is.
boyfriend: do you guys walking around wearing leather pants
me:...no...

Its tight around the bust, in lingerie colors and has black lace which is generally on lingerie. Am i saying she cant wear what she wants ? Hell no. Am i saying its prolly not the best idea to wear it on the street? Yes.

Its weird to me that people are actually on here encouraging her to wear that on the street, what are you people wearing when you leave the house?

OP do what you want, but initially you had bad feelings about wearing it in public. Honestly, you weren't wrong.

That is your opinion. Don't assume that you represent some sort of universal truth with said opinions. Trust me, you absolutely do not.

Ceri, if you love the outfit and can find a place you feel comfortable wearing it, by all means do so. Anyone who is narrow-minded enough to actually believe that you're sending out any type of negative message needs a crash course in how progressive societies work.

Okay, seriously. I have to assume now that you live in a remote village, because you are so far off, as far as how this type of look is perceived, that I must wonder if you were raised in some obscure place where people haven't had access to newer styles/trends for the past 30 years.
