Yeh… So.... Maybe you're right..... ?
You could just 'do both of you a favor' by finding another place to go... You know-- until the Cancer energy is finished near end of next month, or, until Mars finishes its influence to your Venus... November 1. *eek*

By then, let's see....
you'll be all into your studies--
nose to grindstone,
into that last year of Law School.
Too Busy... won't be having Memories of a Summer of Love come up to disturb your concentration... *sigh*.

Then, ...
Be spending your Thanksgiving and Christmas alone with your family, your Mom?
*Wink* .. So.
Is that what you want?

By Christmas, Saturn will return to its point of retrograde, then move on to newer ground and territories.

If you fell in love now, there might be some good Venus transits coming for your future? But then -- it could apply to your love of Law too.
Really up to you.... Adventure?? Memories??

Venus in leo in the 8th think alike and your moon in aries is like just do it right now.

I love that about moon Aries, they take what they want period.

My only goal is to fix it, so she can no longer feel uncomfortable at work, and we can be cordial to one another. If it gets smoothed over so we get back to the banter, that would be great, but I don't expect it. I just now wrote a really long message to her on Facebook. It was witty yet also from the heart. It's out of my hands now.

Randall, if it was from the heart, I’m sure she will respond positively!

She hasn't responded yet. A lot was said, so she probably wants to reply in depth and needs time to craft it. But a short answer in the meantime would have been nice.

I'm thinking she won't literally respond. The best answer is a change in behavior.

This reminds me how our struggles can be just as much an inner-wrestling, as they are outer.

Believe ...

Balance. Bridling the inner-self.

I don’t have FB. Does it tell you if someone has read your message?

No, but she should have received a notification on her phone, so I can't imagine her not having read it. I did the right thing, no matter the result. One of us had to swallow our pride. It was all just a misunderstanding. I understand how she would feel slighted over it. Her feelings matter. I told her what I wanted to ask her that day. I didn't presume to know what she was thinking the question was. I apologized for being stubborn. I just wanted to let her know what was going on in my mind, as opposed to her having to guess. I haven't been back to see her yet, though.

Maybe things will change. It's possible she hasn't read it because some people get so many text messages they completely turn off the notification for the text ringers volume.

She said nothing was wrong. She said if she was upset, it was because of work, and if she didn't speak to me, it was because she didn't see me. I pointed out where she looked right at me, but I shrugged it off and just said I'm glad we're good. Opinions?

Trust her. Believe what she says.
Congratulations on approaching her and having an honest discussion.

And, it is possible for a person to appear to be looking right at something, and not to have the awareness there.. on the thing in front of their eyes.

Some people are thinking really deep and seeing the pictures in the back of their minds-- missing the direct focused awareness of what's in front of them.

In plain sight

She replied: Yay!

The only thing you can do is take her words at face value. At least you are chatting again; and next time you see her it will be less awkward.

She sent me a very happy message this morning telling me it's all good and that she will see me the next time I come in. I was working on a Motion for school and didn't go there today. I suspect that everything will be back to normal tomorrow when I do see her. However, I will not be buying a birthday gift.

I've been staying home working on my paper for school, so I haven't been back to see her.
