The one reservation that I have about Belle is that I worry about her being overly submissive and a Mary Sue. It alarms me that she took Rumpelstiltskin back so easily, though I suspect that once he goes power-hungry and nuts, she may dump him again.

I do want them together, but I feel like he should have to earn her back. I also worry that he hasn't really learned from his mistakes, and that makes me sad for him.

Aahh! I just came across this thread here. ...I had watched the show initially, but because of some upheavals in my life, I had not seen the last several episodes. I was reminded about it when I saw the "location" in Regardes' info a while ago: "In Storybrooke, Mr. Gold's shop." So, I finally enjoyed the last several episodes, a few days ago.

What a show! Robert Carlyle is absolutely incredible in this. IDK, I find his characterizations much deeper than everyone else.

...I saw that Diana had mentioned a few pages back about this caught-between-two-worlds-with-amnesia theme being reminiscent of past lives, and I also strongly felt that, while watching this show.

In fact, while watching it, the archetypes are frequently triggering my own unconscious.

David not being sure of his commitment to Mary Margaret, and the two of them not knowing what is in the way. Ugh. Feels really familiar, in trying to reach out to someone, and there is *something* in the way, from other lifetimes.

...I started sobbing and sobbing, when Bae wanted to jump into the portal with his Dad to the mortal world without magic, but Rumple held back. "You promised!" The theme represented triggered some sort of unknown sense of some father/son relationship(s) from somewhere/sometime... Both sides of it I could relate to.

Some of the scenes between Geppetto and Pinocchio-- sobbing.

The last episode, with characters finally remembering who they were...Snow and Charming, Belle recognizing Rumple... Again--sobbing. I find I can sense so many people in this life from my past--who they were then--but no one else ever seems to remember. So, some deep sadness was triggered in me.

...These are just a few triggering scenes that I recall from the last handful of episodes I just watched.

and I've heard that Belle's character might get a bit 'dark' result of being w/Rumple

right now, she is a bit Mary Sue-ish, so I'd be curious to see that, if the rumor is true

--Who do you think has the best outfits/whose clothes do you like (and would wear something similar)?

--Any favorite crack!ships or crack!theories (that is, pairings that could never happen that you'd like to see happen, or theories that you know are outlandish but hope are true anyway)? Or head!canons? (that is, things that aren't canonical on the show, but that you personally believe about the characters/want to believe)?
