That scene in the jail with Regina and Gold...that was so awesome!

As sad as this episode is, I'm trying to be hopeful that Rumpelstiltskin, after he beats Regina (and man, do I want people to beat her; she has not one ounce of goodness in her and, awesome wardrobe aside, I really hate her!), will allow Belle to love him and give up his powers. I am worried, though, that she'll never be able to forgive him or that she simply will choose not to be with him.

I was so touched by how much he still loves her. I mean, he beat the crap out of the guy who locked her up, and, out of everything stolen from him, the only thing he really cared about was what reminded him of her. I was like the gifs I posted on that one.

Next week it looks like a Snowing episode, but I hope we get some moments with other characters. I really am even more fed up with David now than ever before and am not understanding why MM even wants him! UGH! I mean, come on, even That Guy didn't screw up Valentine's Day!!

I definitely think that the kiss thing will come into play, now that it's been introduced.

David needs to be smacked upside the head. Starting to get annoyed with MM because c'mon, does the girl not love herself? Doesn't she feel like she deserves better? She's so smart and awesome and arrrgh.

But man...I need a Rumples/Mr. Gold in my own life..seriously...his love for Belle is so awesome and my Venus in Scorpio LOVES THAT...they just HAVE to be together at the end. They HAVE to!! I'll give up my Gold/Emma ship for that to happen. Emma can be with Booth (i.e. the Stranger--dude w/a typewriter).

...am I wrong for thinking that it was kinda awesome when he beat up her dad for what he did to her and that he feels THAT level of passion for her (or maybe just being a typical Scorpy Venus)?

And for finding it hilarious instead of disturbing when he turned Gaston into a flower? I seriously was laughing soooo hard.

And is Gaston played by the same guy who plays McNab on "Psych"?

I think that the Queen lied about Belle dying, but not about her father locking her up.

It's one of my favorites, too. This one, and "Desperate Souls".

And I love how Carlyle shows us how much Rumpelstiltskin loves Belle without it being over the top, out of character, or unrealistic. I love how he brings so much sensitivity out of characters that some would see as shady or 'bad'. Like the look on his face when Regina is giving him back the cup and he seems to be afraid of it breaking. Without much in the way of words, it just pours out of him. The way he holds the cup, the way he would fight that hard just for that. And I too LOVED IT when he said "Rumpelstiltskin". I really want him to beat the Queen and end up with Belle, sooo bad!

I know that a work is good when I care THIS much about the characters. It's not every work that brings out those feelings in me.

Belle's and Rumple's relationship is just so beautiful too; I just love it.

I'm also wondering if maybe he has a soft spot for Emma because she reminds him of Belle in some ways, in addition to how Emma loves her son.

I really hope that his favor will involve something that brings Belle back to him. I hope that he figures out that she's alive, and I hope that she'll forgive him.

The other interesting thing, too, is that it does also show that Henry can be wrong. He said that Mr. Gold was "bad", but, honestly, arson and kidnapping aside, it's hard for me to see a person as "bad" when he loves someone THAT much.
