I haven't seen the previews, except at the end of the encore presentations that were on lately.

Can't wait for more RUMPELSTILTSKIN!!!!

To paraphrase Christopher Walken, I got a fever, and the only prescription is more RUM-belle.

I like Red's clothes.

Although a Gothy-opulent part of me loves the Queen's garbs. They are high fantasy and almost steam punkish at times. But Red's clothes, both as her Storybrooke self and the Red Riding Hood self are my favorites.

I like Red's hair. Emma, like her jacket and hair, but in general, not really my style. I like Snow White's hair but not MM's that much, though I like MM's clothes.

I LOVE Mr. Gold's suits. But then again I just love Mr. Gold/Rumple period. Favorite character by far.

Regina, love her clothes, too, especially the mayor ones.

Ail had brought up the question in a recent unrelated Astro 2 thread:

"Do you think that Mr. Gold's son [Bael] is Henry's real father?"

I think a lot of us must have considered this possibility... Yet what had Emma said was the real identity of Henry's father? I know she told him a dressed-up lie of him being a firefighter or some such "hero," but then she revealed to someone that he was some bum of some sort...and maybe even dead? I don't recall. (Does anyone recall the specifics?)

So, how could it be possible?

Oh I brought this up because there seems to be a important for the line that divides Mr. Gold's humanity and his hunger for power with his relationship with his son. Well in general that seems to be a major point in the entire series whether it's Emma's/Regina's relationship with Henry, the mad hatter and his daughter or Mr. Gold and his son Bae( when he thought Pinocchio was his son).
In one of the final episodes the story of Rumpelstiltskin we were told of how he gained his power and as his own problems with dealing with his mortality, out of fear of the unknown, he loses his son Bae who was transported to another world that was suppose to be without magic, that world I am guessing would be the one everyone was stuck in because of the curse. Plus I am guessing people from storybrooke are probably "magically drawn" to one another example. August knowing who Emma was yet he disappeared for years although he was suppose to stay and watch over her. Yet he could immediately recognize her as a adult and he hadn't seen her in 20+ years.

I'm more interested in things with Rumple and Belle than I am with Rumple and Bae, but I'm not sure if he's Henry's dad or not.

Also, when August was pretending to be Bae, Gold sort-of bought it at first. So, I'm not sure whether or not Gold would recognize Bae. I haven't seen the episode in awhile, so I forget, but what age was Bae when he was sent into another dimension? I remember him still being a teen, if I recall. Hansel and Gretel were the same ages in "True North" as they were in the fairytale world, so would Bae be the same age as he was then too?

I'm wondering right now (haven't thought about it much before; as I said, I'm more interested in Rumple-Belle) if he may be in another land without magic. As in, a third world/third realm. That may explain why Gold hasn't encountered him in so many years. And we know from "Skin Deep" that Gold knew about the fairytale world. He definitely would have been looking for Bae, I think, if he was in this world, though maybe he did look at first and, not finding him, assumed he wasn't there (just like he assumed Belle was dead when Regina told him that, even though it was not true).

I'm torn about whether I want him to be Henry's dad or not. I thought that the creators originally said Henry's dad wasn't important to the story, but then I remember reading something else about him being seen this season. Honestly, Henry isn't my focus, either--he's not really my favorite character, so I haven't thought about him a whole lot.

What does interest me about Henry is whether or not his perceptions are correct. I had thought that he was simply someone who explained things to the audience. However, he went on about how bad of a mother Regina is, and from "A Land Without Magic", it's pretty clear to me that, her other morality issues aside, Regina really does love him sincerely. He said that Mr. Gold is "worse than Regina", yet it's clear that Mr. Gold/Rumple has both good and bad him--it's not as simple as Henry's black-and-white child view of things. Henry is intelligent, but he is still a child, so the possibility of Henry being wrong about a few things, which makes me wonder if Henry could be wrong about other things, is interesting to me. It makes me wonder just how much is really "set in stone" and how much Henry's vantage point skews things that he has revealed to the audience. Are things really like he says that they are, or does his inability to understand complexity affect what he's told us--could things be much deeper and more complicated than he's led us to believe, and not so clear-cut?

One of my big things that I will be watching for this season is Rumple/Gold's struggle with love vs. power, and if he can ever find the courage to give up power. I have a feeling things will go south with him and Belle, but I do want them together at the end of the series, and I really want to see how Rumple's inner struggle and their relationship play out.

I'm also interested in Regina, too. Like Rumple, she also does have some good in her.

I really like how a lot of characters on this show are morally complex.

Something else, too: apparently, they're introducing new characters and new villains. Will Rumple/Regina find redemption, or team up to defeat the other guys? Is Regina going to stay the "Big Bad"? Will some good characters start going over to the evil side? Will others sort of come towards the middle and be more gray morally?

I don't think Henry's mind is blinded by the fact that he is a child and it wasn't as if he was told of the events of Storybrooke from a secondhand source, he has a book with the histories of all of the people from Storybrooke he may not know who is who specifically but he knows of the events that surround why everyone is cursed. Henry has seen her destroy so many lives in Storybrooke for the sake of her own selfish needs I'd be more surprised if he did treat her the way she wants him to. Don't get me wrong there were moments when I did feel for Regina and Mr. Gold ex. When we learn of Regina losing her one true love and the abuse she suffered from her mother using magic to discipline her throughout her childhood. But they constantly turn their back on their humanity for the sake of power and control, and after all of the trials they have faced they have yet realized power, control and magic cannot make anyone love you. Example: When Regina offers to keep Hansel and Gretel were they can stay with her forever live in the Castle and be powerful or go back to the forest with their father and they chose their father. When Regina tries to win Henry's affection she constantly fails, Regina sacrifices her father the one person in the world who truly loved her despite her flaws and the evil she committed, or even when Regina had the Huntsman's heart locked in a box he still chose Emma etc. Mr. Gold for example: chose power over leaving storybrooke with his son, and he nearly lost Beauty but luckily he didn't but who knows what will happen next season. Usually once a person has faced so much lost they learn their lesson and Regina and Mr. Gold haven't.

My point with Henry isn't that he's blind or stupid, just that, as a child, he lacks the ability (as most normal children lack the ability) to understand certain kinds of complexity, which they learn later on. As in, he lacks the ability to understand that Regina/Evil Queen is not all-good or all-bad, and the same with Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin.

I do agree that Regina and Rumple haven't learned their lessons, but, at the same time, I don't think that it's impossible. I could see either one of them being redeemed--maybe not until the very end, maybe not completely, and likely with great difficulty and falling off the wagon from time to time, but I could see it. I think that, as the show says, "love is the most powerful magic". They also say on the show that "evil isn't born, it's made". If it can be made, and love is the most powerful magic, then I think it's at least possible that evil can be un-made. Love--familial for Regina, romance for Rumple, possibly familial too if things work out with Bae--could save both of them. I don't know. It's something I look forward to seeing--how that plays out.

There's a special with secrets about the show on an hour before the season premiere (7 pm EST).

Nope. Incorrect. They are airing a special at 7, then the premiere at 8. After that is the season premiere of Revenge at 9 (never watched it) and then the new show premiere of 666 Park Avenue at 10 (which I will try to watch).

I'll check their website and see. I didn't think it made sense, and you're probably right, but if it does have a mistake on the DVR, I want to know why/see what's up.

What do u think Mulan & Sleeping beauty's relationship is going to be like with Emma & Snow? From the look of things, it doesn't look like they'll get along very well
