Ruby definitely can work the red! I question some of her real-world fashion choices in terms of how revealing they are, but the color does work. Plus, she does have the body for them. Not my personal taste, but she can pull it off. Love the different looks that she has for her hair! Style-wise, I'd say I like Regina's look the best: polished, sleek. I LOVE the dress she wore in "The Price of Gold" when she went to her "council meeting". Emma wears similar outfits a lot, but her look is very her--true to her personality. For the guys, I like Mr. Gold's and the stranger's styles. Come to think of it, I find that every character's clothing really matches them. Good job on that detail, costume people! Yeah, I never watch the Super Bowl. I might go and hang out with people watching it, but I don't pay attention to the game. American football bores me. Not really a big sports fanatic; have very mild interests in open-wheel racing and occasionally ice-skating (mainly during the Olympics) and don't mind a baseball game now and then, but am not a sports person. I do exercise, but I SUCK at playing sports too.

Sometimes when I look at Ruby I imagine 70s and roller skating while waiting at dinner's Emma is Aries, and it so makes sense as each episode goes buy. Even her swagger is ariestastic I think she might have Pisces Rising. Oh,I love Olympics and tennis. My friends tell me Super Bowl is primarily about hanging out than anything else. That, food and commercials Regarding Mr.Gold.. Have you seen film '51 State' ??

Ha...I could totally see Ruby being a roller-skating/roller-blading waitress. Emma is Aries, yes! So is Gold. And someone else too, I think, but I can't think of who right now. He does have a Pisces ASC, actually. And you're right: the Super Bowl is definitely about the commercials. Sometimes people remember them more than the game. (Isn't that too when Janet Jackson had the infamous "wardrobe malfunction" that led to a whole new term in the lexicon? I doubt people remember much of the game, but yeah, we STILL use that phrase!) Oh, and there's THIS, from the '85 Chicago Bears. This song is addictive, and I don't even like football. But yeah. It's catchy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=draiscAGt-k And no, I haven't seen that film! What's it about?

Hmmm...interesting. I may have to see this film at some point, especially since Samuel L. Jackson is in it too. That's just too much awesome to pass up. I'm thinking of doing a movie marathon this week. Not sure that I'll be able to watch that particular film by then (would have to order it or find it online), but yeah, it's gonna be a movie day. I'm gonna be like this basically all day, watching movies: **
As for the astrology, using whole signs, the Aries planets all end up in house 2. ** SOOOOO looking forward to this week's episode. Let's get ready to RUM-BELLE! sorry, couldn't resist a wrestling reference here *sigh*

Grrr....saw "Rum Belle" elsewhere on Tumblr today, so I'm not the only one who thought of it. Boo. Still, I do like that name for them. And yes, lots of great classic film gifs.
I'm particularly fond of this one Ah, Cary Grant Oh, and this, from Charade

According to IMDb,Stranger's name is August W. Booth! (and Frederick is gym teacher) Is that Rock Hudson in a lady bath robe? Please don't tell me Belle envisioned R.Pattinson
Don't you worry Regardes,if needed I will testify that RUM-BELLE is your intellectual property

It's Cary Grant in a lady's bathrobe. If Belle envisioned R-Patt, I will have her spindle-shanked. An old dead emo guy who freaking sparkles cannot compare to the awesomeness that is RUMPLES. August! Interesting choice for a name. "Booth" made me think "John Wilkes Booth" (for any people out there not from the US/not familiar with US history, John Wilkes Booth is the one who assassinated Abraham Lincoln back in the 1860s). According to wikipedia, the name August means "inspiring awe or admiration". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_%28name%29 INTERESTING INDEED, DEARIE.

You like Gregory Peck too?! *squee* I haven't seen as many of his movies as I would like, but I do like him a lot. And he was gorgeous. I'm working on seeing more. Heeeeey...his birthday is in April...I could do a Gregory Peck movie marathon close to his birthday and indulge in the awesomeness. Awww yeeeah. Just for you: Mr. Peck was an Aries too. And he also had the infamous LEO MARS. Emilie de Ravin is a Capricorn, I will see if I can find her ASC. IP: Logged |

I couldn't find de Ravin's ASC on astrotheme.fr, but she DOES have a lot of Libra and Cappie in her chart.*what I do is I find the chart there since it usually has the birth time and place, then I put it into astro.com so I can see it in whole signs* IP: Logged |

You're right--he does have a Gemini Venus. (I had misread it as Taurus; it's right on the line on astrotheme. My mistake!) I notice that both he and Robert Carlyle are Sun and Mercury Aries. Oooh, and Cary Grant has Jupiter in Pisces like I do!! *squee* CG's Mars is in Aquarius. RC's is in Cancer. IP: Logged |

I love when I see opposing energies really like each other! Aries/Libra and Gem/Sag are pretty up in the cool list I also have a pattern, while I still wait for some nice Libra to occupy my H1 and rick my world, opposing my Aries Mars,I mostly react to Cappy Men with some strong Mars action.. Talkin about time on the hands,I don't really have, but I can't resist. Just now I read mysticmedusa,(something I do every morning with coffee) and found out that Taylor Swift is a Sag Rising,Sun Rising... I always get Scorp Mars vibes from her

I like opposite sign connections myself. :-) I have sun Libra (opposite Aries), Cappie Mars (opposite Cancer), and Scorpio Venus (opposite Taurus). The opposite of my moon (Cancer) would be Capricorn; I tend to get along well with Taurus and Pisces moons, and don't know a lot of Cappie moons, so I'm not sure how I'd get along with them. I like the Aries-Libra opposition especially because it's Mars and Venus. War and Peace. Conflict and Resolution. Like two parts of a story coming together. Cyclical, too: conflict, resolution, new conflict, new resolution, for example--it can just keep going. Plus, oppositions balance each other out. They're not as harsh or difficult as squares, and they're not as complacent as trines. Some trines and squares are good, of course (to add both ease and opportunity for growth respectively), but oppositions, to me, have the potential--in healthy and loving relationships--to offer both. Plus, as a Libra, I'm fascinated by harmonious opposites.

My Moon opposition- Cancer works best precisely via art, many artist I like are strong on Cancer or have Cancer Moon. However,in RL,when somebody triggers my Cancer/Venus/MC...: I used to have fascination with Aqua Sun,but tNep oppo my Sun changed it.. Now I like Aquas only from far I find oppositions represent nature of relationship best! IP: Logged |

I forgot that you had a Cappy moon! And you have a Cancer Venus, too. Plus a Leo sun. No wonder we get along :-) *Btw, where is your Mercury? ** Yes, you're right about artists! Many are/were Cancers (the other sign I see a lot is Pisces). The best artist that I know personally is a Pisces, but a few Cancerians that I know are also very talented! IP: Logged |

Cancer Merc- very good position for art My Merc is in Virgo You may have noticed the sorts of astro-debates I fall into They just trigger my no-nonsense Merc... I think we get along so well because of libran love for discussion and desire to get to the bottom of things. I have strong H3 (a superficial house, mind you) but with heavy hitters like Saturn or Uranus and you have Aqua there (and my Sun falls into your H9- that's so good,H9 connections ) Also, our Mercs are pretty alike, forum is the place for Merc-groove Had we had a Sag Merc and a Gemini one here, this thread would be indeed unstoppable. And on page 47 IP: Logged |

I have a Sag ascendant plus Uranus and Saturn there, and Chiron in Gemini! Does that count? ;-) It would be cool to have others respond to the thread...maybe after Rumbelle's episode? I kinda feel a little bad; I don't want people to feel shut out or anything. COME JOIN THE AWESOMENESS!!!! And we're almost on post 200!!! We need special gifs to celebrate the awesomeness. I wonder if there is a limit on how many pages or posts a thread can have? Maybe we can set a LindaLand record for most posts/pages someday. That would be sooo cool. IP: Logged |

I LOVE THOSE PICS!As for the lawyer one, on the show "Angel", there is an evil law firm called Wolfram and Hart. I can see Rumples working there, totally. They do employ vampires at that firm--or, as is politically correct to call them, "undead Americans". (That term is used I think by Lilah Morgan, one of the lawyers on the show). Here's this gem from Tumblr, "Beauty and the Beast": since Rumples is the beast and all IP: Logged | |
