Barbie, you didn't answer my question about why you had to bring up that you are targeted here on LL on a 2.0 thread when it was irrelevant? You seemed to ignore my question entirely because it contradicts what you say here.

4 people in one thread........having a nice time talking about draconic astrology and other things....

Yet, the whole forum has to "bow down" to something? To us? I don't get it.

Yes, everyone watch out. Especially for me. I mean, I haven't posted in days and when I do it's nice posts to my friends, but yeah, "BOW DOWN".

I haven't posted in many threads in months. Yet somehow we are terrorizing the entire forum?

It sounds a lot like some other things i've heard about a year ago. Sounds like someone's been in your ear Barbie.

I mean seriously......that thread really didn't need to be closed because of what Bella said. The camp threads didn't either, but there's an agenda going on, clearly.

Anyone who was even semi aware would know how do deal with these things in a much more calm and civil manner than they have been. You'd think there was some kind of outrageous drama going on, when, if you look back on all the what 10 threads that have been locked in a few hours -- there is really nothing going on.....nothing that deems a thread lock.

You people are out of control and I now believe seeking attention. Crazy.

Little conflicts happen from time to time all over LL, even in the Astrology Forums. A warning usually stops it. If not, closing the thread does. People move on. Why is it different in this Forum?

This is an Internet forum though, PD. It's words on a screen. It shouldn't be like this, it isn't fair to anyone that comes here and sees all of the locked threads goes the other direction.

Can I ask what you're talking about? Who did I supposedly target or taunt? When?

EDIT Sorry I misread what you said. I was responding to the question. What I said all correlated with my response. I was not targeting anyone or hinting. I just simply added it in my response. Why is there always an ulterior motive? I don't post a comment knowing that it's going to annoy you or anyone else, I just post. Why do you read so deeply into my posts? How's that fair?

Then stop doing it! Especially when it's not called for!

No, it is not fair to the newbies. Especially when they see threads locked for no good reason. I'm sure it scares them away.

It should be different because the problems here are extremely personal and not just ideological disagreements. There is a level of intimate involvement here that is not seen in most of the other forums. This is why I think it should be treated with especial care.

If you want especial care why not do it in private over email? It isn't fair that anyone else, aside from you 4, to limit themselves to your liking. This site doesn't revolve around you, it's the entire community. We all matter.

Are not the problems at Sweet Peas personal? Granted, we've had some doozies there, but not like this.

It was unnecessary and irrelevant, and it certainly did NOT correlate with your response. You should have known better as a mod. It is an indirect and implicit way of attracting attention and opening eyes to the drama that you now so suddenly seem keen on obliterating. It is also an implicit way of victimizing yourself.

How you feel right now and what you said is an exact echo of how many of us feel here too!

This started the moment you made me mod. It was never like this. People come here and talk trash about other members for some reason and I have not the slightest idea why.

Its 3 in the morning and I feel like I'm beating a dead horse.

Have a nice night.

Hey yall. I think we should change the rules: I think there should be less of them. Less moderation and less power. People in power end up abusing it because we are subjective creatures. Power over others is just bad. We are all one. That's a huge theme of a forum like this.

Maybe just make it so that mods can only move the topics to the right places.
People get slandered and drama starts all the time WITH the moderation. Just let people deal with each other without the complication of "moderation." Especially if the fighting, accusations and criticism cause emotional harm to the mods.

Rules, limits, etc. are detrimental to our growth. We are all drawn to this forum to grow spiritually. We all have something to learn from each other and the Power factor confuses and complicates things.

Just my 2 cents If it was really implemented, I think it would fix things.

They are of a personal nature but that's people discussing a certain and specific topic, the intimate and personal conversation is directed towards a particular discussion (drugs, mental illness, break-ups, etc.), but here, the object of the conversation are the members themselves. There is no topic, which makes any conflict extremely and blatantly personal.

This open dialogue without pointing fingers is conducive to growth. If we all want the same things, then it shouldn't be too difficult to make us all happy.

I don't feel right now, PD. That's where we differ. I don't add emotions in the equation here unless it pertains to private stuff I share here.

I was not victimizing myself. Sigh.. This just never ends with you. Take it whatever way you'd like, I know what I meant when I said it.

Take care, have a nice night.

Barb is not a victim in any sense of the word.

The majority of LL has little to no Mod intervention. A tightening of the reins is required in times of conflict, but after the conflict passes, those areas of LL are almost wide open.

All I ask and suggest is that more impartial discretion is to be exercised when a conflict arises. I understand and am very aware that there are people who dislike each other and others who are very close friends. The tension and allegiances are very obvious that we need not pretend that they do not exist.

As webmaster, you should be as discerning with the actions of your mods as you are with the members. I am aware you have a liking for some mods here and that's fine, but please don't let your liking get in the way of your judgment. Be more patient and let people deal with their issues first, if it gets too extreme place a warning, if a warning does not suffice then shut it down. Always be willing to address people because that's the only way we can begin to see some peace and changes here.

Can't win for losing.

But seriously it's 3:19. I'm sweepy. Have a nice night peeps.

"^ You took the words right out of my mouth. Great post.
I have Sun/Mercury, Moon/Mercury and Mercury/Asc conjuncts as well and am the same way. I feel my Mars squares and Saturn trines are what prevent me from being this way. The only times that I differ are when people are cruel, nasty and mock my opinion, which seems to happen a lot for me with some here. I will not tolerate disrespect."

Randall, is this necessary on a 2.0 thread? How is that not contradictory to the rhetoric Barbie uses to mod and lock us down? Let's be real and honest here, shall we? She calls us all victims. What do you call this? And to members who are generally inactive on H&H. What impression does this give when they decide to tip-toe onto here? That we are "cruel and nasty"? Tell me...

I posted that as a poster, not a mod, PD. Mods post as they usually do ya know. Why are you so hell bent that I'm talking about you lol? Seriously girl. You keep the drama rolling. It's a post, my post in which I posted because it's the truth. I'm queen of most highly disliked opinions, did you ever stop to think of that as a possibility?..

Seriously off to bed now.

If I'm honest, you contribute nothing to this discussion at the moment so it is best you leave it to me and Randall. As you can see, we have been having a respectful conversation about things. It's not about warning and not listening. It's about being big enough to set aside your authority and listen to people. Randall and I are not buddies, but I at least *feel* that he is listening. And for that, I will be fair and give him credit.

So you are one thing as a "poster" and another as a mod? How does that work, exactly? You either abide by your rules, seeing that you have "Moderator" written under your name no matter WHERE you post and therefore should assume that responsibility and remain consistent or for the sake of everyone here, forfeit your modship. I don't see how you think you can play different roles that suit your agenda and not own up to the fact that you are doing so. Wow.

EDIT: I love how your feelings are "truth" but mine are ban-worthy? True.
