to be fair i have posted about my in-laws whose company i don't keep but they do visit from time to time... lots of people around don't share my beliefs - heck, the vast majority don't... but they also don't make it a constant sore point between us...

admittedly, i have more liberties in choosing my social peers being self-employed but i quite honestly have never ever encountered the disrespectful persistence that you seem to have to put up with... maybe it's a regional thing...

I think I get "disrespectful persistence" maybe because I am in a "glamour profession" so there's just always more fascination and envy with it.
I wish more people would ASK me my secrets of youthing...I am HAPPY to share! =)

that is highly probable DiamondGoddess... anything akin to celebrity status is a source of morbid fascination for many people - i do find it rather repugnant how the very same people to "raise" a celebrity up are generally the first ones to tear same entity down... and boy oh boy does "age" ever come into play with that...

Yes, emitres, I have had to do a LOT of work on dealing with people's envy as I blossom as a person!
I had very unrealistic, childlike expectations that "I'll come out with my fabulousness and everyone will LOVE it!" LOL!!! (This seems so sweet and naive to me now!) =)
But I am totally committed to being everything I can be, regardless of people's reactions. It's really VERY liberating, as I get the hang of it. There's a way to own one's OWN Light, without at all feeling superior to others.
I just no longer expect everyone to dig my success, and am pleased when I find those that do; but it doesn't stop me, either way. I DON'T give power away to others!
And yes, the "age" stuff is huge in this.
I have Capricorn Sun at the Midheaven, Taurus Rising, and Moon (plus more!) in Aquarius; so the haters can keep hating and wrinkling up their OWN faces (haha!) because I was literally BORN to do this. And I have always known that.

I am travelling on a damaged passport at the moment. I burnt it when I tried to disable the RFID chip in the microwave oven.

It is still a valid travel document and I am relectant to replace it, because everybody looks at the burn marks and they don't notice my date of birth.

LOL!!!
Your posts are always so informative and entertaining, Maklhouf!
YES--staying young presents MANY challenges in these kinds of ways.
I'd keep the burned passport, if at all possible, as it's a great diversion from the birthdate, as you said.
I think it's weird that people are SO fascinated with "age," anyway. As mentioned above, I am AMAZED at how competitive people are!
I think there are a lot of wealthy immortals who "fake their death" so as to escape from the constant scrutiny. I'll probably have to do this m'self, at some point, as I gain more recognition in my work. Sounds like a fun adventure to me! I also like the idea of being in people's faces as a public figure and then talking about my youthing techniques.
It's also good to have immortal friends, as I think the deathist world can feel kind of lonely for us non-agers.
Sometimes I get asked to audition for "mother" roles and my landlord always says, "I would NOT cast you as anyone's mother!" LOL!!! (No slam on mothers there.)
I LOVE Linda's story about St. Germain and the women of the court who looked 20 and had guys duelling for them and they were 50.
Do keep us posted on your adventures, M!!! And good luck at every border!

Oh, and LOLOLOLOL!!! about nuking the RFID chip!
DID IT WORK???
I am a fan of Bible prophecy, as I see it coming true, and they say that those chips are the true "Mark of the Beast."
ALL products, including credit cards, now have them. So every time I leave a store, "They" know what I've bought, my banking, etc.
Ugh, ugh, and SUPER-UGH!!!
How to avoid that, as I've heard they'll force them on us even more?

Yeah, the chip is disabled. I think my subconscious made me leave it in the oven too long, because a burnt passport looks less suspicious than if the chip was neatly popped.

BRAVO to the burnt RFID chip!
And, yes, that is MUCH less suspicious than tearing it out.
"Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?"--from the movie "Barb Wire." haha
I'll share immortals with you, if you like. They are into that.

this is quite fascinating - you must be travelling to rather liberal locations...

taken from: http://www.ppt.gc.ca/planification/203.aspx?lang=eng

"Damaged passport

Passport Canada recommends that you apply for a new passport if your current passport is damaged. Travellers whose passport is damaged in any way could face significant delays or be denied entry at border crossings, or be denied boarding on flights."

the boy (on his last trip to US) was given serious flack at US customs because he had an expired travel form in his still valid passport...

all the power to you though maklhouf that you're still able to use yours... will you repeat the above procedure when you need to renew your passport?

Emitres, I hope to be further along the road to enlightenment when I renew the passport, and therefore hopefully, more subtle.
Diamond goddess, do share immortals, please!
On living the lie. There have been occasions when people have discovered my "true" age and decided to "expose" me as older than everybody assumed me to be. They do not realise that I allow others to assume these things out of kindness. People can feel pretty ****** if they are the same age but look a lot older than you.

I have been talking to a couple I have not seen for ages, arranging to meet, but they sound really "middle aged". They have had children. I think that tends to age people. I am actually wondering if I should try to make myself look older for the meeting, although I don't really know how to do that.

Not sure how you can contact me privately, Makl. How does that work on the Forum?
I can tell you that there are 2 kinds of immortals--"stunt" immortals (those for whom it's all talk, and then they die), and real ones. The real ones do stuff to be immortal--purification practices, etc., and are always reminding everyone to do the same, haha!
I asked the main immortal I know about why a guy we knew just died. He said, "He believed in rituals instead of doing the purification practices." Brilliant!!!
YES--it gets tiring dealing with everyone's deathism and low self-esteem. In the last year, I got the total "movie-star treatment" haha and got to go somewhere glamorous to shoot something as on-camera talent. Well, one of the women looked about 150 from the neck up! She took one look at me and spent the whole time whining about this. It was beyond tiring! I ignored her, which was pretty easy to do, haha.
I myself don't ever make myself look worse, unless they'd want it for a role, and then THEY do it to me. Maybe someday I'll play with that, but I'm at the place where I'd only feel irritated by it.
It really is a lesson in greater individuation and high self-esteem and blazing one's own trail! haha
=)

For private messaging, password protection etc., we will have to wait for Randall to decide how he wants this forum to go. I do not feel irritation for my friends, just compassion. They are dead men walking. It is just like visiting someone in a condemned cell. When I realise this, I feel OK about the opprobium I have to suffer. Everything has its price.

One thing I have noticed, is that the more personally empowered I get, the LESS I care about all the outer ridonculousness of other people!!! haha The more I am able to craft MY life how I want it, the less "involved" I get with other people's karma/drama. This feels REALLY great to me.
(Oh, RANDALL, I keep forgetting to say how much I LOVE your "they are older than me" idea above! LOLOLOLOL!!! I'm totally going to use that.)
I was just looking up auditions online, and youthing does pose interesting quandaries in this regard. They ALWAYS mention an "age-range," and I go, "Hmmmm...?!" haha (I generally just apply for whatever and then let them decide; like in my movie example where, once they saw me, they pulled me in with the "20 year olds". LOL!!!
And yes, compassion is key with others, I think. Just DON'T match energies! (This I am always reminding myself--I am NOT one of the Masters of Karma, and I have no idea what others' purpose is! It's good to remember that.)
Learning to own one's Light with no superiority is an art in itself. I think just accepting it as fact is helpful here.

Thanks for the question, ! (I do love that smiley! LOL!)
You know, I go through my phases. When I first read "Star Signs," I got totally in to the vitamins and grape juice, etc., that Linda recommended. And I recall it working.
But then I kind of fell off it and tried other stuff.
The exercises in the book "Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth" by Peter Kelder are super-dynamite for youthing, and easy to do.
Also doing some breathwork helps a lot, too. It clears emotions and cleans the cells. I drink LOTS of water, exercise gently, try and sleep well, and am a vegetarian--just good ol' common sense stuff.
(BTW--I think the book I ordered as a kid was in fact "Sun Signs"! LOL!!! Yep, I'm THAT "old,"...IF I was aging. =) )

I have started the spinning exercise. It is interesting that he tells us to spin clockwise while Linda spirals anti clockwise. After spinning clockwise for a while I want to "unwind" the other way, but I suppose that would be wrong?

I, too, used to be big on vitamins etc., but now I hardly take them and I eat whatever I like.
