TWAFDB....I went and saw a Tarot and Palm reader yesterday, and she said my ex was bad for me. Is going to run into some real trouble in the next 3 to 6 months, which he'll try to unload on me. He may even get beat up by someone much bigger than him!!! He's not into anything illegal, but he's planning to partner up with his Scorpio boss in a new side business. He WAS going to use the proceeds of selling the house to invest, but now he says he's going to do it without investing any of his own money (??). He doesn't seem to have any intention of giving any of that money to me, yet I was with him for 4 years in that house, which we built together. My name isn't on the mortgage.
This is not what I intended to go into on this thread...sorry. I'm just venting, I don't really care about that too much. I'm not getting into a money arguement with him. He's way too defensive when it comes to money issues (Saturn in the 2nd house)

But, the thing that made it a good day for me, is that it gave me something to go on in trying to determine whethor I should give him another chance, or put it all into the new guy. But that's a whole other story, the new guy thing. She has some things to say about him as well.

Yeah, what juni said!! And I'm just echoing pixelpixie with that, but I do agree with juni.

And juni, I think it was a typo from lioneye--I think she meant Tarot, as in Tarot cards.

Hope she saw some good things for you too, lioneye. I've gone to a few of those, psychic types, but never had much luck with them.

Oh, pixelpixie....just catching up on this thread. I'm sorry your grandfather is so ill, but how wonderful that you still have some joyous precious time to spend together.

We finally got the van that we've been saving up for. Everyone loves it and we're that much closer to getting out of here and heading to Colorado.

Daf,
have you ever been to a tavern called Pioneer Inn, in a sleepy little town in Colorado? I ask because I sat down at that bar the other day to watch some football and I looked down, where to my surprise, I saw carved into the bar "DAF".
It really threw me for a loop because only a half an hour before I had been sitting in front of my 'puter reading some stuff you'd posted in Oranges about the revelations of John. Gave me shivers.

Just wanted to say thank you, trillian, for the kind words about my grandpa. I have said this before, but I think it bears repeating. Your grandparents are always old... ever since I was little, they were 'old'....of course, the concept is defined differently as the years go by, but It is almost an unspoken, unwritten thing that they are just eternally old and it's in the contract that they are never going to leave, cuz they were ALWAYS old, and it was never a problem before! I see that through the eyes of a child, and I don't want to lose another grandfather this year. (My Dad's dad died in April.)
I can see it as an adult, and as a spiritual person who is enlightened enough to embrace death in theory.....but not personally, and in such a real way. I am rambling....sorry.

TWAFD because I walked through my door tonight after work, and with the click of the bolt lock, my tension left me as I thought- "I don't have to work until monday!!!!" I also worked with my best friend tonight. She rocks!!

New van, kudos Now back to the Pioneer Inn, was it you???

Pixie, hugs for you and Gramps I`m a virtual orphan with parents, Grandparents, and most aunts and uncles passed over. You are blessed>

TWAFDB...I had nothing to do but rise early, which around here is about 7:15 'cause the cats want fed! Then do some cleaning, read a book, watch the snow fall gently, eat some of the forbidden fudge in the freezer , listen to some beautiful Celtic music that breezes through your soul like gossamer on the wind...and now I'm gonna shower and meet some friends for beer and bar food at a cool little pub-like place. Simple pleasures.

Juni, I'm a virtual orphan too. Parents, grandparents and two of my three siblings long gone. I do have a birth family, but that's not the same. Some days we have to count our blessings, don't we?

Much love to your wise heart pixel.
Loads of love and light to you all...

Wow.
You really can spend 2+ hours zerberting and tickling - who'd've thunk it?

Jase is gone picking up milk, underwear, and candles (for my roommates...they got me presents...I didn't get them anything...).

*happy sigh*

It's good to be back w/ him

lioneye - Naw, but I got stuff for his 'rents, bro, etc.

Oh, and guess what? We took him to the doc right after he got out of basic, and he has acute bronchitis.

That's the second time today I was thinking about something and it showed up here!

OOOH!And it also was a lovely day because it rained lots- and I like it when it rains lots- because my poor plants were getting really thirsty and aggitated.
