I am Leo sun, Aquarius rising and Taurus Moon.
Neptune is in my MC.
In my chart, Neptune sextile Pluto, Jupiter trines Neptune, Moon in opposition to Neptune and Saturn squares Neptune.

For having Saturn square Neptune, this is the Liz Greene's recommendation for me:
You should avoid all mind-altering drugs, including alcohol, even when prescribed by a physician, if possible. Such drugs can reactivate hidden fears that you had adjusted to, which could cause serious psychological damage. Drugs may bring up issues to consciousness before you are ready to deal with them.

Therefore I should avoid even chocolates filled with liquor !

I already tried pot and coke when I was younger.
I use to say that when I used pot I "saw" a white elephant, when I tried coke I "was" the white elephant!
And because I liked to be a white elephant, I decided that that was my first and last trip to wonderland...

Today I drink when I go out do dance, vodka or dry martini, the problem is that if I drink more than three dry martinis, the other day I don't remember anything. I already kissed a man and the other day if my friend, that was with me, had not told me I would not remember... in fact, I don't remember until today... I have no idea who this man was...

Love

Thanks Carlo, I will have to cook and bake tomorrow, any excuse will do for me

I have had good MDMA, Eve and speedy rolls. It was amazing (the good stuff), but I don't know about the quality anymore, especially here in South Florida, everyone wants to make money making cheap stuff. A couple birthdays ago I took some bad ones that I got in South Beach and I haven't done it since. No worries, like someone said, I shared some awesome moments with people

I have seen XTC ruin people's brains, my old dealer (or feeder for that matter) is in a hospital, he had a stroke, but even before that he had major brain damage. It was like talking to a little kid, he ruined his life, sometimes I think that stuff feels TOO good!

Like N_wEvil said there are all sorts of highs we can get, naturally and unnatrually
Endorphins are secreted during intense exercise, orgasms, lots of different things

I am off topic now I know
sorry
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Question (LL): What are the kind of people you wouldn't hang around with?

Jakie -
I have Saturn Sq. Neptune, too (1deg04) - and my Sun Sq. Neptune (0deg02)...
guess I should watch out, too.
Thanks for the cautionary tales

Fajita - HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, TOO!!!

Unfortunately a life made out of "deep" things ceases to be much fun - for anyone.

See exhibit A

Sure it is. Well, I mean it can be - you just have to know how to laugh at (or with, really) the "deep things", too.

Just find a little goofy paper (or a large school paper) to write reviews for --- I did, and I get a steady stream of free tickets to preview/press showings

Lost Leo,

Where in So Cal do you live? It's shame that you can't seem to find anyone in Cali to connect with. One would think that with institutions like USC, UCLA, UCI and the major arts / cultural centers, you would find someone that is intellectual and attractive. Maybe you are frequenting the wrong places. Or, maybe you are living in the hub of of the self-centered crowd where someone with a Leo sun does not receive the attention that he feels is due?

Anyway, I just returned from So Cal, South Orange County and Palm Springs. Wow, it felt good to see the Mountains and Desert again, not to mention the beautiful Pacific Ocean in Laguna.

Good Luck!

Hi Fajita,

Yes, So cal is so beautiful, especially this time of year. I really miss home, but I still have family and work out there so I get to visit often. It would have been great if I could have spent some time in Arrowhead. Now, I just need to get out to Apache Lake in Arizona to do some hiking.

I hope all is well.

Lost Leo,

Sooooo, that would mean you are from.....I got ya! Actually, I lived in Laguna Hills most of my life, but I did move to Yorba Linda to live with my father during my Jr and Sr. year. That's when I attended Esperanza. My younger bro went to LHHS(graduated in 92) and played varsity football since his So. year. SO I am very familiar with your HS and your ag farm. When I was at LHHS I attended animal health classes at your HS and watched as one of the horses gave birth on my way to the class one day. I even dated a few of your fellow students once upon a time. But I am much older and that was the mid 80's when we used to have weird hair and go dancing at the "JAG and Stuido K". LOL.....that was such a long time ago.

Anyway, I understand the position you are in regarding how to find the right person. I found that the scientific / analytical crowd is not apt to be as open minded to certain proclivities as say the more artistic crowd. My background has been to not experiment in certain activities because of background checks that would have made it impossible for me to pass had I participated.

I have found myself in the position where on one hand I love the scientific / analytical type of person to dicuss various topics with, but I am also into the deep conversations of the more open minded crowd.

What exactly did you mean about the non-association with certain a certain crowd? I understand about the goodlooking yet devoid of all intellect crowd, which does include men by the way. Hell, there were some real dumb surfers that I dated that looked good, but it was obvious that the salt water and continued head trauma experienced by getting pounded into the sand, led them to be less than intellectually stimulating!!!

As for Universities...I had friends that went off to the big party schools, but I opted for the private uni at Concordia Irvine and then onto Concordia Portland, OR. What are you majoring in, if that is not too invasive?

LOL... Lost Leo,

So, you had a friend that dated a fellow Concordia? I graduated HS in 88 then took time off to see where I wanted to go..Life as a Sagi with an Aries moon, what can I see. Then again, that damn Virgo Ascendent comes in and grounds me. Anyway, I spent time searching in the Hollywood crowd, but just couldn't connect with any, so it was back to the studies and college.

I opted for the Biology / Chemistry route and spent most of my time in the lab, library and of course, PARTIES. I transferred out of CU Irvine because Portland made Bio majors get a second degree in Chemistry while taking all the humanities, arts and other courses.

In school I didn't date people in my major because, oh this will sound so shallow, so many of them looked as if they had been face down in a petri dish for too long. I socialized with the Business majors and athletes. I had one professor chastize me for fraternizing with the "pseudo-intellectual" crowd. As if one could really find "FUN" in the middle of Molecular bio...UGH..

Suffice it to say, the most common phrase I get when people find out my background is "Why didn't I have a bio prof like you when I was in school". Ummm, who knows, but I can say that when I taught the lab classes in Microbiology, I enjoyed a few fantasies of my own involving lab coats, heels and well, nothing else...LOL Yes, I am a bit bad.

So, another lawyer soon to be politician. I thought about Law School, but I do have issues with authority. I used to spend afternoons watching court cases when I would wait for my former step monster to get off work at the OC court house. I could just see me getting PO'd at the judge and being sent to the 'tank' for contempt!

Another question. Do you hang out with people from the Northwest? The phrase "right on" is so Portland / Seattle. It reminds me of my years up there.

Oh and as far as the 80's trends. LOL...I had the goth thing going on until I was about 16. Now I am just normal...LOl well, as normal as I can be.

LOL...about O'Reilly: I totally love him and would die to find out his Astro data!!!

I guess I didn't respond to this subject in this thread at all.

Well, I can only really comment on my personality regarding alcohol.

My Sun is Sag with an Aries Moon and Virgo Rising.

When I drink I get more playful and I love to be social. Not sloppy social, but I enjoy being at a club, hearing music or being at a party. I like to make sure everyone is having a good time and is taken care of regarding drinks and such.

I tend to really be the total social butterfly and I enjoy talking to just about everyone. One thing that I do avoid is anyone that is in a nontalkative mood or is depressed. I will spend a few minutes on them and try to perk them up, but if they are in the mood to brood, then I am gone.

I can become a real pistol though when someone starts to boss me around. I think that brings out either the Aries moon temper or the "don't control me" Sag temper. The only time I get angry when I am enjoying myself is when I am with someone that is either too jealous and wants me to devout all my time to them (at a party or out with friends) or tries to tell me it's time to leave because I am having a good time. I am not one to get smashed, so it's not about dragging me out to keep me from dancing on tables.

When I am with a guy I like, I usually get more romantic and touchy. I am not into public displays of affection, but when I am with someone special I will get more amorous and will get more affectionate even in public. I do like going out for dinner and drinks with the guy I like and building up the anticipation for when we get home!

So, that is all. Ah, now it's time to have a nice Hefeweizen!!
