juni,

I hear you.

I do not want to get lost in semantics either.

Maybe our "working title" for this hypothetical thread could be: "GU LITE"

Or you could pick the name.

What do you think it should be called?

love,
Stephen

Valiant, but ultimately futile.

Randall has made it pretty clear how he feels.

That's my not so insightful insight.

If your suggestion was practical then some of them would be living on venus(peace) and some on mars(war). Is it just coincidence that life happens on earth.

Sorry I don't agree you need to separate this forum.

Can you separate the Rs and Ds in the congress in capitol hill? It will be disastrous. You need to bring opposing viewpoints and come to a understanding.

Hi Mannu!,

Are you talking to me?

quote:

Sorry I don't agree you need to separate this forum.

Good point about Venus and Mars.

I believe there were temples to them on Earth.

That is why Earth is practical, right?

It is where we build structures and bring the planets into harmony.

It is clear to me that this forum is dedicated to Mars.

Most everyone who posts here is likely to have an angular Mars, or Mars in aspect to the luminaries.

TINK has it in the 1st.

NosiS and 26Taurus have it in the 7th.

Is it any wonder that they are drawn here?

I myself have it in the 10th. (Venus is on the Midheaven.)

I am not saying anything against Mars. I love Mars.

But he holds a different place in my destiny.

love to you,
HSC

HSC, You may quote Krishna but I doubt that you can understand him in a totality that he deserves. He is too complex for you or for that matter to anyone. Over the years people fragmented his personality and worshipped it. Secretly even Gandhi worshipped Arjuna more than Krishna. Krishna is ahead of the times that even we live in. Too multi dimensional. Perhaps Jwhop must make him his spiritual advisor and drop Jesus when it comes to war LOL. Krishna will not hesitate a moment to kill Osama bin Laden as an American soldier. He would not have batted an eye if he was those pilots to drop A-bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

"As above, so below."

"A wise man rules by the stars, and a fool is ruled by them."

I thought your suggestion about Mars and Venus was great, Mannu.

We could call the Forums "Martian Global Unity" and "Venusian Global Unity".

Mars being stronger in the former, Venus being stronger in the latter.

quote:
HSC, You cannot understand Krishna. He is too complex for you. Too multi dimensional.

I agree. Who can understand him? Only Krishna.

quote:
Perhaps Jwhop must make him his spiritual advisor and drop Jesus when it comes to war LOL.

That is his choice.
But it is well to stay in our own traditions,
or the traditions with which we are most comfortable.
The same truths are found in all religions,
but we only need eyes for one or another.

quote:
Trust me Krishna will not hesitate to kill Osama bin Ladin as an American soldier.

Perhaps, if he had proof of Bin Laden's guilt.

I'm sure he would bring everyone to justice.

God Bless,

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

I agree.

Would you say he's Uranian?

If so, he's definitely over my head.

I thought he was too multidimensional for anyone to understand?

>>>I thought he was too multidimensional for anyone to understand?

See this is where even Gandhi failed to understand him. And I see all pacifists doing the same mistake.

Krishna asked Arjuna to fight and kill in a battle in which he was fighting against his loving uncle, his bad cousins, his teachers.

This is just the tip of iceberg of my explanation on why I made that bold statement. Its not a metaphor. It applies to a real situation. I am sure you know the rest of the history of WWII. A time when battles could really be won or lost. Won for greater goodness. Worth fighting for. Some day the US military will produce robots that will kill and pacifists should be happy then.

Excuse me, but except for recently, I rarely post or even read here. I posted a thread here recently as i do once in awhile, yes.

My insensitive thick-skinned b*tch asss is not "drawn here".

Having an angular Leo Mars has nothing to do with me or this, HSC. Your pointing out the one aggressive planet and the house it falls in as the reason for why people are they way they are is weak to say the least. We are more than our astrological charts (especially one small aspect of them) and so are the reasons for why we do what we do and say what we say.

Might I remind you that your tenth house water Sun is in an earth house? And my fourth house earth sun is in the opposite, a natural water house? My Moon also happens to be in a water house, the 8th, Scorpio's natural house along with other planets. My Sun and Moon trine each other, unlike yours. As I recall, your Moon is in an angular house (Aries natural house) and is in a sign that is not the most notorius for being "sensitive" (Aquarius). That Moon energy is what I'm seeing coming out in you these days.

And I dont know how you came to the conclusion that people with a majority of their planets in the top half of the chart are more sensitive folk. In my astrological studies, I have learned the opposite.

Mine are mostly on the western side of my chart anyway. Not below the horizon.

And you know damn well that,

Among the poets, you are Venus retrograde.

Here's a napkin, because youve got some of your very own Mars dribbling down your chin again these days. I see it, and I hear it through the bright red hearts.

And I know you are trying.

We will have stricter rules in the new forum.
For instance, I propose no namecalling and no direct insults.
No "wimp"s, "woos"es, "twits", "braindead twits", "morons"s, and so on.
And, of course, no calling people "murderers" who have no ill intent.
And no referring to anyone as a "bigot", a "sheep", or a "pawn".
I think these are very reasonable and loose guidelines.
Sometimes a little order is just the thing to allow a greater freedom.
I'm willing to endure it if you are.

HSC, this is what I was referring to on one of the other threads. Some of us have been asking for this in the current GU for years. I highly doubt it would work in a second forum.

Anyone who wants "proof" please feel free to look it up yourself. 82 pages of threads long ... start at the beginning, grab some popcorn and some coffee and fasten your safety belts.

before splintering off, possibly we might make another attempt at keeping the peace in GU?

Personal responsibilty comes to mind.

This "but they made me do it" nonsense. She made me call her a leftist pinko braindead commie. He made me call him a brainwashed cold-hearted murderer. We're adults. We might think the other guy's position is insufferably naive or insensitive or just plain stupid but could we find a way to say so nicely? I'm trying to say that our actions and reactions are solely our own responsibilty. Could we all agree to debate rather than just belittle?

Randall, a while back you said GU mostly moderated itself. Maybe not so much? Maybe we could use a moderator or two, after all.
