Dear Magidivision,

You mentioned entire Creation is one prayer. Is the sound of that prayer AUM (OM)?

Hi iamThat,

It's all good, I wasnt directing that post to you. But I did feel the need to get the things these people say about him out there. I like to stick up for things I believe in and feel are right and good in my heart. I dont expect other's to feel the same. But I will do this, just as some others do the same here.

I'm not looking for followers. Just putting some stuff out there.

And about the sex aligations. If you read his work, you know it isnt true. And you can find out why these lies were made about him all over the web as well. Very sad stuff. He's a huge threat to all of the people who want to keep humanity asleep. So many lies have been spread to taint his name.

"Osho is the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ... He's obviously a very effective man, otherwise he wouldn't be such a threat. He's saying the same things that nobody else has the courage to say. A man who has all kinds of ideas, they're not only inflammatory-they also have a resonance of truth that scares the pants off the control freaks."

"I have never heard anyone so beautifully and playfully integrate and then dissolve the psychological problems which, for generations, have sapped our human energies."

And oh yes! The Rolls Royce. He had some. Why? Many reasons. The press will have you thinking otherwise. Greed? Hmmmmmm? Maybe not.

Dear 26Taurus,

We each have free will and when we die we can go to whoever we want to go to. So if you do want to go to his planets its your call. (SIMULTANEOULY WONDERING AT MAGIDIVISIONS REACTION Is it True????)

No one will judge you.

I know this iamThat. Once again, I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. Just putting my thoughts out there.

(also, I am not the only one to think this about magi, BUT I could be wrong. It's happened before. )

If I was defending Jesus would you all be saying the same thing?

(I think Jesus is fabulous by the way. )

"we all see things our own way, right" Yes. Agreed. Very much so. I hope to someday see things the way they are.

Dear 26Taurus,

I love these times we are in. We can agree and disagree at same time peacefully. Imagine if we lived 2000 years ago.

Heh that Rolls Royce article was very funny. Cleared my misconception.
Heh was Osho a Taurean too?

Osho must be a great teacher to have so many who have achieved fame and influence support his teachings.

Perhaps that explains his need for so many expensive cars and fine things; when one is the guru of the rich and powerful, it probably wouldn't be appropriate to pull up to their mansions and corporate offices in a rickshaw or a beat up Datsun, now would it?

Tell me 26, about the ways in which the teachings of Osho could lead one such as me away from egotism, materialism and confrontations with my fellow (wo)men. Such lessons would be good for me, good for you, good for us all, no?

Perhaps an anecdote from your personal experiences? How have Osho's teachings helped you to get a rein on ego, material attachments and the desire to confront your brothers and sisters here on Earth?

The proof of a Teacher's effectiveness is not in the acclaim and kudos that are received, but in the results that are achieved.

I look forward to learning more about Osho from you.

Thank you for considering my questions,

daf

Dear 26Taurus,

A man went to a shop and saw the shopkeeper upset.

"What is wrong?" he asked the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper replied, "Business is bad."

"All those jars you have at the back," the man said. "Why don't you put the contents of those jars for sale?"

The shopkeeper said, "But the jars are empty."

The man said, "Well, at least take the lids off the jars so they can be filled."

Serenity,

Master

Greetings Friends,

Jesus cried:

"O Lord, let not my enemies rejoice, nor turn my friends against me, nor visit affliction on me with respect to my faith, nor make the world my greatest concern, nor let those who are ruthless towards me have power over me."

Serenity,

Master

Happy Sunday Morning Master, thank you for the teaching stories, they truly do help us to think beyond the norm. Why would Jesus say those things? Was he tempted, or have a lapse in faith? Or was it for the energy of His presence? Was he also speaking of his ego as well as his literal enemies? I ask because I have always believed he was above temptation and already knew what was to transpire. Although your answer may not be to these questions I ask I know it will be the answer my heart needs to hear. Blessings. Sue

Greetings All,

The Christ said, "The Lord granted me the power to bring the dead to life and make the blind to see and the congenitally deaf to hear, but He did not give me the power to cure a fool."

This is for those who wish to go from being a mule to a malamati.

The Messiah also said, "Jesus once stopped to drink from a brook of sweet running water and found its taste sweeter than rosewater. A man came along with an earthenware pot and knelt by the stream's edge to fill it; then he offered the water to Jesus. Hardly had Jesus' lips touched the rim when he drew back in surpise at the briny bitter taste that met his mouth.

"'O Lord!" cried Jesus, "the same water is in the stream that is in the vessel, yet one is sweet as honey while the other is brackish and unsavory. How does this come to be?'

"It was the vessel itself that answered Jesus, saying, 'I am aged, a man of ancient days. Beneath this heavenly vault, I've been fashioned over and over a thousand times into pot and cask and mortar. And even were I to be molded over a thousand times again into a drinking vessel, you would still, in imbibing my contents, taste the acrid flavor of death in me. The taste of me is bitter and rancid, for death itself is putrid.

"'From the vesself of mortalkity,' the pot spoke on, 'quaff the widom of refraining from fashioning yourself into a beaker of neglect. If you fail to discover who you are when you are alive, how can you hope to know yourself when you are dead? Your quest unconsummated while in life, your death is no more than a loss. Though born a man, you die unmanly. A hundred thousand veils shroud the Sufi's vision. How can he ever find himself?'"

Some of you have a question in your minds. Your friend introduces you to someone and that person is of a ill-nature. It means it was the friend's test and trial also.

Serenity,

Master

Hi all,

My internet connection went haywire last night. Hence my disappearing act.

iamThat,

Glad you got a kick out of the Rolls Royce article. Interesting isnt it?

Osho was a Sagittarius, he was born December 11, 1931.

"Mysteriously, between the date of Osho’s birth in the body (December 11) and the date when He left the body (January 19), there are exactly 40 days and 40 nights."

Yes, we are in strange times. But good times I believe. And I love to agree to disagree.

Daf,

There have been millions more, that have been influenced by him, not only the rich and famous. He is not just a "guru of the rich and powerful". Take me for example.

If you read the Rolls Royce link I posted above, you can see that there was not a "need" for expensive cars and fine things. There is a reasoning behind all of this.

Well, here is a great article on how to help you to let go of your ego in his own words. We all get there our own way.

Osho on Ego - Ego: The False Center http://www.otoons.com/osho/askosho71.htm

Hmmmm? An "anecdote from my personal experiences"? Okay, here's one.

Remember the little incident that happened a few days ago? Do you remember how I was the first one to forgive? Did you see how easily I forgave?
No asking for forgivness was really even required because I had come to that point already anyway.
How does one easily forgive any wrongdoing done to them? When they have done a good job of letting go of the ego. If my ego was involved I wouldnt have been able to forgive. I would have taken offence. I did for a minute, then I came to my senses.
I couldnt let my ego get offended by another man's ego. That's silly. He doesnt know me.

I know me though.

And until you truly do know you, you will constantly be offended by other's people's ego's.
How can I be offended by how someone else percieves me? We are all looking at the world and everything in through our own eyes. How can how someone else sees me or it, offend me?? It cant and doesnt. This is a gauge on how I can see that I have and am becoming detatched from my own ego. I'm not saying I'm perfect though. There is still more work to be done, that is what it's all about.

When you are wrapped up in ego, people offend you. Your ego doesnt allow you to let go of things.

I think you would also enjoy this link, oh Questioning One:

Your Questions Answered

Your Answers Questioned

here: http://www.otoons.com/osho/askosho.htm

Let me know what you think.

I do like you Daf. It might not matter much to you. But I see a person who wants to help people. Help them understand life and it's spiritual aspects. And someone on his own never ending quest to find meaning in it all. That is beautiful.

Hi magidivision,

Thank you for that story.

Funny I would say to the shopkeeper, "Indeed. Take the lid off. But clean out the jar. I see some dust in there. Until you empty it and clean it really good, dont start filling it with other things. Concentrate on emptying it first. The old dirt will taint the new dirt. First, start with a clean jar."

......(or that could just be the Virgo Moon talking. )

And then I would tell him, "Certain things should not be confined by walls."

Is it better to be high-spirited or passive?

Is it better to be indignant toward others' failings, or mournful of their burdens?

Is it better to be strong or meek?

Is it better to seek a path of righteousness, or one of self-indulgence?

Is it better to attack or to be merciful?

Is it better to seek after worldly pleasures or to attempt to purify your heart?

Is it better to argue or to make peace?

So many questions we need to ask ourselves when attempting to determine the state of our ego, the strength of our nafs. Which of each does the ego choose? Which does the heart choose?

Thank you for your answers 26. Thank you for reaching out and building a bridge between us. Each and every person here should have the same opportunity to know what your heart would choose when given the chance.

Love,

daf

Greetings,

In the story, the jar first arrives full. Then you put a lid on it so you cannot receive any blessings because you pretend you are full of knowledge. You must remove the lid and hope those blessings come to you.

Hi,

I've flipped my lid plenty of times.

I knew what you meant magi. I dont pretend to be full of knowledge. But the knowledge I do have fills me up and I like to share it with others. I am always open to more.

And I feel a glorius fullness in my emptiness.

My lid was removed a long time ago. Though you may not think so. It was.

I am Blessed and have every Blessing I could ever want right NOW. Because God has willed it. I'm not waiting for Blessings to come to me. They are all here now.

Love,

Youre welcome Daf. And thank you!

Good questions to ponder on.

I think it's best to try to walk through life not hurting another soul. (we both know how tough this can be sometimes. ) All we can do is try our best and forgive ourselves when we slip.

What did you think of the 'Ego piece'?

Could you please help me to understand free will and Gods will.

---Men, by corrupting women, are destroying the fabric of spirituality on earth.---

--Only if women allow themselves to be corrupted.--

Not entirely true. Certain forms of power verge upon the irresistable and are incredibly dangerous.
Without the provisions of either a)extreme native merit (rare), b) specialist training (rare also) or c)specialist intervention (again rare) the person caught unawares in such a flow of power is placed at a massive disadvantage and great danger.

More so than imagination might immediately credit.

However, the person caught in such a flow is innocent of sin in the matter and to be treated with the utmost care, love and attention.

Regards,
