Your exes were trying to connect with you emotionally. This can be exhausting for the Moon in Gemini to consistently apply themselves too as they need emotional distance as much as their lovers need them to be "close".

My cousin has Sun in Gemini|Moon in Cancer and his Gemini qualities seem exaggerated to me i.e nervous, twitchy, fidgets, speaks fast and looks younger than his years etc.

I wonder if you suffer from stomach ulcers? He does

i dont have stomach ulcers but i have hormonal issues that causes severe stomach cramps and internal hemoraging ugh...

Bravo to all Moms. So strong!

My Mom is also a far more dominant force in my life than my father (who is distant)

My Moon is in the 3rd house. She has had prime influence in the way I think.

Moon conjunct Pluto in scorpio 6H. I have anorexic tendencies when my routine gets too far from what I'm used to. It's weird because I was pretty unpredictable when I was younger but now, I'm super anal about things staying the same, at least for the most part. I can handle a crisis better than most I know and can keep a level head but in my immediate surroundings, having a steady routine, especially revolving around food, literally makes me feel safe. I also do not eat on days that I work. It's an all or nothing thing. If I'm working that day, I'm completely focused on working my butt off. On my days off or when I have multiple hours not working I can eat. I have it almost down to a science but, when I do let the tables tilt too much in one direction I am prone to high functioning depression and my weight will drastically drop.

It all sounds like the obsessive nature of the 6th house to me.

Interestingly my little sister has a stelliun in 6th.She is progressively becoming diet focused. When she was younger she didn't care.

I wonder though: do you think that at some point in your life you will consider veganism?

Odd question I know. But I find Moon/Pluto so instrumental in dietary changes for so many I have met.

I am now going through the transit of trans Pluto/ opposite my Moon. I have given up fish and pork.

My Moon (Libra) is in the 8th House and conjunct Pluto. Only 3 degrees separating from Scorpio.

I would say that I'm half Libra Moon half Scorpio Moon, I feel both traits, which can be a pain sometimes when they try to take over one another, but I can manage.

Unlike the "standard" Libra Moon I'm not a social butterfly and my energy gets drained when I'm surrounded by a lot of people, that's because I can feel different types of energy coming from all directions! Help me! Haha

Yes absolutely, I went even further than veganism to whole foods plant based. I'm working on cutting out all meats, dairy, processed foods, and oils. I went the vegan route first though.
I still leaned towards healthier foods when I was young. I always drank only water and hated candy and chocolate. I'm also lactose and soy intolerant and allergic to quite a long list of meds including opiates.

My sister did that for years. She was overweight for a while, as a kid. She became obsessed with losing the weight, and then keeping it off. When she was 13, and I was 15, I tried to start a diet she was on, and didn't last a day. Now that idea depresses me: that either of us were on a diet at that age. Neither of us were overweight.

When we moved to the US, we found out that she was mainly living on bread and whatever she was drinking, because we rarely had real food in the house. There was a lot of pizza, salsa and chips, and so on, in this apartment that we shared with my aunt and her three kids (two of them college students). So mum started to shop for food, and make healthier meals, or big pots of chili. Four years later, I became a vegetarian, and later my sister became a vegan. At some point, she stopped using oils, too.

Anyway, she has Moon in Pisces, in the 12th. I have Moon at the end of my 7th, and I've never lasted on a diet. Even with a juice/smoothie cleanse, I add in soup at the end of the day, and drink my usual tea when I've showered. For some reason, astro.com interprets it as being in the 8th, even though they say it's in the 7th, just very close to the cusp. It's conjunct Venus, which is sextile Jupiter, they trine Pluto, inconjunct Uranus/ascendant. I also have Mercury/Ceres/Chiron/Sun in the 6th.

My sister started to eat meat again, six or seven years ago. She made the change for her health (Crohn's disease). Making bone broth, was where she started. She started keto, a few years ago. She makes these lattes with coconut oil and cacao butter. I never did get around to tasting one. She was overweight, but didn't appear to be stressing about it.

I only saw a little bit of 2nd house moons, and I missed Cap moons if they were here.

I am Cap moon in 2nd- opposite Sun/Jupiter in 8th. Trine Mars in 10th. I alternate between cold and overly emotional, generosity and stinginess. I am territorial with money and food. Firmly devoted to my family. Driven but pragmatic. It's a weird placement.

I was about the start a similar thread as I have been thinking a lot about my Scorpio Moon in my 12H.

I was left alone for a large amount of time as a child. My family would go out all weekend visiting their friends and I would be home all day alone for about 12 hours. But I loved it, more then, because it was about been given peace away from my family.

I just love being home alone now. It truly is my happy place. Especially just lying in bed reading the internet. If I don't get at least 5 hours of alone me time everyday, I cannot mentally function properly.

Even when I am away on holidays I think about being alone in my room. When I return from being away, I lock myself up for at least 2 days, even though I really need a week to recharge.

I can be the most bubbly, fun person when I am out and so talkative that when I tell people I need a lot of alone time they are shocked by it. But it's all that alone time I get that gives me the ability to be happy and chirpy when I am with others.

I don't play music, unless it's the mediation type when alone, and I don't own a television as its just yelling at me to buy stuff. I rarely watch anything on Netflix either, I just love the sound of quietness, stillness and peace.

Another reason I couldn't/wouldn't have children. And if I ever had a partner he would have to make me feel like I am alone too.

My Moon conjunctions Uranus, with a wide orb conjunction to ASC squaring my Mars.

Uranus rules my 4H too, which is also why I love being home, although I feel like I am never home and always tell myself I just want to go home. I keep looking for where my spiritual home is. I have moved around a lot to many different states and have been thinking a lot about my next move too.

I would like your input. What house your sign is in and aspects. And how you think it manifests in your life.

In my case, my Moon in 3rd has me feel restless and want to try everything. Its subsequent conjunction to the Ic has me love creating a safe nest/haven from which to dwell.

And I also stay up till late. My mind being busy and imagining all sorts of stuff. Its most active at night.

Please feel free to share

My Taurus moon is in my third house, too! My mind is constantly on. I feel like I wake up every morning already in the middle of a thousand thoughts 😂 I also need to feel like I can discuss all sorts of trivial things at any time in order to feel comfortable with someone. It’s also opposite my sun and mercury so I’m sure that adds to it all

I can very much relate to this!!! HOWEVER, and I think this is the Taurus in me, I can’t LIVE anywhere per se but I just feel like “we ain’t the same kind of people” if someone’s house isn’t warm and inviting. I place a lot of importance on making guests feel at home and keeping my home as relaxing as possible when they’re over and it’s not that I dislike others who aren’t like that, I just feel we’re definitely from two different tribes

My Moon is in Virgo 12th house.

Square Gemini Sun in 9th house.
Trine Neptune on the IC in Capricorn
Sextile Mars & Mercury on the MC in Cancer.
Sextile Scorpio Pluto in 2nd house.

I'm rather detached from my own emotions. My empathy is stronger, so that I feel the emotions of other people more than I do my own. I cry because someone else is crying... I'm very receptive, in every way. My intuition is spot on most of the time. With some people I feel like I can almost read their mind. I tend to assimilate not only the emotions of others but habits, body language and mode of speech too. But I struggle with accessing my own feelings, and I have a hard time expressing them. I'm more in touch with my emotions and more expressive when I create art or music. My mother is my best friend, but she does suffer from mental health issues and has been committed to a mental institution several times (first time in my early teens).

Also moon in first in Capricorn. Moon in first means people can see my emotions like a wreath on my front door. The interps will say I "wear my heart on my sleeve". Capricorn is more reserved so you'll see a person trying to control their emotions. I'm not emotional in a sensitive Cancer way but will get tears in my eyes during a powerful moment during a movie and always joke that I cry when someone wins a car on The Price is Right. I'm just so HAPPY for their happiness. It touches me.

Now, I also have Mars in the first, but in Aquarius. So I will get REALLY fired up over some perceived injustice to myself or humanity in general and will be super angry super fast for a few minutes. If I am given the space to chill, it will pass. If someone continues the moment, it will combine with my emotions/moon and then I am no longer angry at a thought, I am emotionally involved with whatever first impacted my Mars. The anger and impulse to be outraged by some social issue or a perceived affront to myself will then become extremely personal and I will be like a cork in the ocean during a turbulent storm. Uncomfortable with the strong emotions and unable to calm them.

I just need five minutes to cool down Mars to a manageable level, then another ten to be completely logical again. If no other event occurs that kicks the cork back out into the storm. Otherwise, everyone WILL know I am angry. And the Libra in me will be happy to tell them WHY. Mercury conjunct Pluto in Virgo will tell them EXACTLY why. Usually with a perfectly Capricorn executed Martial gut punch of precise and cutting words.

Since people can see my emotions but often interpret them wrong, I've learned over the course of my life to just speak openly and honestly about them and use my precise Mercury mind conjunct precise Pluto depth to tell them in a deep way to create understanding instead of fear of what is actually going on with me. Some people can't handle truth and honesty. Some people value it. It helps me sort humans.

Awesome, this old thread was bumped. Can never get enough of discussing my Moon.Lol

I reas online somewhere that Moon in 2nd is quite territorial. And that may be because security (Moon) is linked to tangibles(2nd)?

You have inspired me to open up a thread about the 2nd house

Wow.

Well the 12th house Moon placement does like isolation. This especially in water as well as earth signs.

I actually know of someone with Moon in Virg in the 12th house. And he is very reserved and not as talkative as I would like.

How do you engage someone with Moon in 12th? I don't have 12th house placements and even as a Sun-Nep conj, He is very tricky to me.

I have Moon in 3rd conj the Ic.I can stay at home and be by myself (infact i appreciate that).

But I am more communicative and open than he is.If i invite you to my private space,I want to relate more intimately and TALK.

In your case, I get why you need downtime to regroup.Your Moon in Scorpio tends to absorb a lot and can have very strong reactions to people, events, things or news etc.

So perhaps the "sanctity" you speak of is not encouraging those volatile feelings? To minimise the feelings of inner hostility?

I think many water Moons don't have any clue as to how sensitive they are to energy, sounds, words and the external environment etc.

Many take that for granted and function on autopilot. As if their sensitive nature is more a "disability" than a strength to them. This more especially the men.

You are likely to attract a partner who is similar to you i.e one who appreciates the sanctity of being alone and tending to one's own inner spirit.

Lol.Do you have air sign folks around you?I seem to attract them the most-mostly Lib and Virgo(mercury ruled)though.

I think my future spouse is likely Virgo or Libra. Probably with Aqua/Gemini in the mix.
