If you can't say what you want to say without using off-color language, then you probably need to work on your communication skills. Creatively trying to bypass the filter is still violating the rules. I and my Mods are tired of editing out such comments, and we will start issuing warnings. IP: Logged |

Is "bitchy" allowed? I just posted in Sweet Peas, and it didn't turn into asterisks.IP: Logged |

That will be okay. Bitching is also okay. But the root word isn't. IP: Logged |

Randall, thank you for clearing that up ------------------ We need to listen to our own song, and share it with others, but not force it on them. Our songs are different. They should be in harmony with each other. ~ Mattie Stepanek IP: Logged |

The biggest problem we are having is with the F word. Personally, I use it myself a lot in conversations with my friends, but I know it isn't appropriate in most social venues...and it isn't appropriate here.IP: Logged |

Oh thank goodness you use the F word, Randall. All things in moderation! I will stop swearing here, as requested. My Gemini Mars will just have to cope.

Don't be so mean. Randall gives us a great place to come. He pays for it and keeps it up, which is a lot. Have a little respect! ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Does this filter work? And if so, it needs to filter out the c word. Referring to people by an degrading slang term for a woman's genitalia is wildly sexist, misogynist and contemptable. And Brits, I *do* *not* care if you use it a lot. Your culture is wildly sexist and misogynist. Hence why the Everyday Sexism project *started* in Britian. http://www.everydaysexism.com/ IP: Logged |

well why dont people make a big deal when somebody calls a man the slang term for the male member? not saying it should be considered a sexist issue, just trying to make a point. The bottom line is people call other people things when they make them mad;it's human nature, not a sexist issue. I hear men and women alike call men the D word when he acts as such. Therefore you cant consider calling a woman the c word a sexist issue because its ok to call a man the d word as well. Is it offensive?yes it is,but it isnt sexist. IP: Logged |

In my pov it is sexist to call a man by the slang genitalia term; and sexist for a woman to be called by the slang for female genitalia. Additionally men calling men the slang genitalia word is also sexist and insinuation the other man is a woman, as if women were low revolting things. Well sexist or not; all such name calling is low brow crude and rude at best. And your crack about feminists shows you do not know or understand real ones; and only think of the nut case ones. Or have a problem with women who are assertive.....gee.....just like a man.IP: Logged |

^no, I know all about feminists and I have big time philosophical problems with them. How can we possibly reach true equality when we focus soley on the issues of one gender? Thats exactly what we have been doing in this country for decades now. It has to stop.IP: Logged |

The scales might need to tip wildly for a bit before we reach true equality. We certainly arent even close yet! IP: Logged |

I know there are men's issues. What do you feel are the men's issues? And if women were considered equal to men; women would not need to fight for rights et cetera. So what do you feel are the issues women should drop? Also would you please define what a feminist is in your opinion; and why you have quote: big time philosophical problems with
Sounds rather sexist/chauvinistic to me.PS. Apologies for the thread segue.

I'm sure if you men had been in that position, you'd still be raging even moreso! We'd never hear the end of it. & there might not ever be an end to it all. Not anytime soon anyway. And yes, it's largely your sex's fault. For being such idiots. So deal with it. Now and for a long time to come. We ain't going anywhere.IP: Logged |
