^^^ this type of thing has also happened in the UK. On the surface it looks like arrogance to me. People in power thinking that they are cleverer than the rest of us and can do the undoable more safely. It doesn't help that it's no secret that the highest restrictions here are in areas where individuals ignored the social distancing guidelines. House parties and garden parties were rife toward the end of summer and during freshers week. However the care home outbreaks are undoubtedly due to the elderly formerly being discharged from hospital without being tested first. Utterly ludicrous. IP: Logged |

Keep in mind that at this indoor dinner party Newsome attended, also present was Dustin Corcoran, CEO of the California Medical Association (CMA) and Janus Norman, the CMA lobbyist. This is a dinner where the movers and shakers of the medical establishment that's giving thumb up to the Governor for pushing lockdown were themselves disregarding the rules they are pushing on the masses.
