I dont think Lucifer is a masochist. My first fling he has Lucifer right on his MC, my husband has Lucifer right on his IC, someone I know online has Lucifer and Nessus right on his AC; none are masochists, they are definitely not masochists without a doubt. Are you? IP: Logged |

I am still researching. So far, it looks like Lucifer likes pain. I don't think so. When my soul is weak (like during depressive states), my human spirit is exalted. Humility is a good feeling. With kinky stuff like this, many will hide their deep stuff even if we are intimate with them. Some are deeper than others, such that it can be in their subconscious and may not be aware of it. With Marquis de Sade, his Tara is on his NN. Lucifer's Tara/Isis combo are on de Sade's NN/Tara combo. Both of their Osiris' resonate. de Sade's Vertex resonates with Lucifer's NN.Tara is like Kaali. If Lucifer was in the third heaven at one time, close to the Most High being the most beautiful archangel full of power, then getting demoted to rule the first (earth realm) and second (astral realm) heavens until the Messiah came, it must have caused a bunch of pain.  That is one way of showing the Messiah is the gateway to the third heaven. A person can still get in trouble in the second heaven because their silver chord can be cut. If our silver chord is represented by Minerva or Pallas, etc., then we might want to check where Lucifer's are. In Lucifer's case, Lucifer's Pallas resonates with Lucifer's SN and Lucifer's Minerva resonates with Lucifer's NN. IP: Logged |

Lover: His pallas conjuncts my Psyche and squares exact my Venus and Mars. He has Moon, Mars, Minerva stellium conjunct my Pholus (Moon and Mars exact, Minerva by 2d).Ex: His Pallas conjuncts exact my Pholus. I love people throwing up "Devil Worship" and including Lucifer.I'm glad the picture of Anthony LaVey had the pentagram in it. Pentagram - physical drawing of the Venus Synodic Cycle. Again, Pentagram - Venus Synodic Cycle. It's why the pentagram was associated with "devil worship"... aka Lucifer - the light-bringer, morning star - Venus! Astrology and astronomy go hand-in-hand, at least they did thousands of years ago. Hypatia: That's a good start at creating data points demonstrating the Lucifer is not a malefic, IMO. Of those people you listed, do you feel they were prideful? One potential negative aspect listed regarding Lucifer. However, we have to examine the whole chart to see if prideful exists and not arbitrarily attribute it to asteroid Lucifer.

Lucifer could have been humiliated because of pride, which is why some sadist's charts are in sync with Lucifer's chart. For humans, humility is when our soul is secondary to our human spirit. Pride is when human spirit is secondary to our soul. Pride comes before fall.

I see Lucifer as pride. If you hone his story down, it is the story of pride. In people, those with a strong Lucifer seem to be "know it alls". I am not trying to insult anyone but I like to try to make things easy to understand and usable. That is my experience with the Lucifer asteroid anyway.------------------

If the story is correct, I don't think Lucifer has any pride left. It got hammered. So the chart should show humiliation to the largest degree. Like watching a helpless soul slip away right before death or a baby without a nipple or a full grown man not getting his way.So someone with a strong Lucifer is likely to be humble. Cheers for Ami!!! Glad to see you! I am a know it all. However, I have tons of Jupiterian aspects, which is where I get a lot of my "know-it-all-ness." But, it's more a desire to share what I've learned that makes people see me as a know-it-all. My only concern is that historically, Lucifer was the name for Venus and not for Satan. This is why I question it. The whole "Lucifer = Satan" thing came WAY after Lucifer being another name for Venus. Can we definitively say that in charts where Lucifer appears to show pridefulness that there aren't other chart influences? I don't have the charts that you have, but I know iQ keeps his chart data from discussions with him. IP: Logged |

 I see him as the light bringer too, I feel the discovery chart supports this, I also see a pride theme, a justice theme, a protection theme. I also feel Lucifer is deviant but not in a bad way, he has a strong character and will not just obey blindly, he is his own person with his own mind. His is about Justice and Truth, that is his purpose. But he is also a play boy/lover boy and primal when it comes to sex but in a good way, its hot, makes the ladies want to pull down their panties off for him. So he is a complex character which makes him fascinating and I like him. To reduce him to just an asteroid about pride is a huge sad unfortunate disservice. He is about bringing the truth to light and he owns his sins or selfish nature and accepts himself as he was made and I respect that. IP: Logged |
