HAPPY EASTER TO YOU - MY FRIENDS.... juni...I remembered how much you liked my Easter bonnet from awhile back, so thought I'd don it again this year.....wanna be the grandest lady in the Easter Parade... Hope you like it too Bob, as well as the cute little Easter kitty.... ********* As Easter day draws to a close, I am glimpsing a bit of Lake Michigan outside my computer room window.....(my house sets on a high hill about a mile from the lake) and the sun is about to set on it...(when my kids were little, we'd drive to the lake to watch the sunset and we'd all go, "Ssssssssss" as the sun hit the water) So when Nicholas was with me a couple weeks ago, I drove him to the beach where we watched the sun set, and we did the "Sssssssssss" thing...it was fun, and brought back memories of when my boys were just kids...*sigh* I've been witnessing beautiful sunsets just about every night this week.... This time of year affords me a view of the lake (where there is a break in the bluffs), as the trees which would ordinarily block it from view, are still bare of leaves...so I have the gift of the sight of the lake, before the leaves return in full bloom to the trees... Yes, God loves me... Ssssssssssss Love, Rainbow IP: Logged |

Juni, Bob, MoonChild....I must tell you that once again, I am about to witness a beautiful sunset over Lake Michigan. *sigh* I hate to be redundant, but one can never get too many of these beautiful visual gifts from God... At certain times (depending upon where the sun is in the sky), the glimpse I get of the lake makes it appear as a sparkling jewel set in the distant western horizon. Another of God's gifts to me. I always wanted to live right on the shore of Lake Michigan, and while I'm NOT exactly on the shore, the mere fact, that the awsome Lake Michigan is visible to me outside my window, lends a certain magic to my life.... There it goes..... It is a huge golden red ball, sinking lower and lower into the west...and into the turquoise water... "Ssssssssssssssssssssss...." IP: Logged |

's It is so wonderful to hear from all of you. Welcome Moonchild, I an reminded of an old Cat Stevens' song called "Moonshadow" No reason, I just thought of it. I have to tell you that we had all of the children here for Easter for the first time in twenty years. It was so wonderful that I cried for the joy of it Sunday night. In these sometimes troubling times, it is indeed wonderful to feel and believe how very blessed we are. I don't have any animations to show you but springtime in Virginia is beautiful as always. For tonight, may God grant warm days and good planting to those who need it. As always......------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

It is good to be here again, and I am warmed to see everyone else. I must admit to being a bit down today. One of my coworkers is going to Guam for a job. It is for an unknown period of time. We once served on the same ship, 34 years ago and just started working together last month. We hadn't seen each other since 1972. Doesn't it seem like the good ones are always the ones that go? Anyway, I'll be "up" again in a few days. Listen to Cat Stevens' "Morning Has Broken". Love and peace....------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

's With the approach of Memorial Day, I reflect on the the price we have paid to be here today. A long time ago, I spent a year in Viet Nam. I was lucky because I got back. Here's to those who paid the ultimate price so we can write to each other here. Love and Peace to all of you. Are you all still here? I hope that none of you have anyone in Iraq or thereabouts. If you do, my heart goes out to you. My prayers are with you.....------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

's How can I say thanks for all of the love and positive thoughts? I have always liked that song, thanks, jb. Now that summer is upon us, I think back to those long lazy days of school vacation and wish I could go back for a week or so. May the season bring you the right mix of sun, rain and cool weather to give you a bountiful crop this year. Until later.... ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |
