Good morning Rainbow and weeseldad. As promised a new thread A new start will be to add a Prayer that touchs my heart and to thank Chief Yellow Lark for gifting it to the Universe. An Indian Prayer Oh GREAT SPIRIT: Whose voice I hear in the winds, and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me. I am a man before You, one of Your many children - I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Made my hands respect the things You have made, my ears sharp to hear Your voice. Make me wise, so that I may know the things you have taught my people - the lesson you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able to fight my greatest enemy - myself. Make me ever ready to come to You with clean hands and straight eyes, so when life fades as a fading sunset my spirit may come to You without shame. Chief Yellow Lark [1887] Indian Missionary and Medicine Man ************************ Weeseldad, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to visit your state. I will share what I may. Yes, I always do seem to understand what your are saying. The Intention is pure and and translates well
Rainbow, MI is blooming springtime and I hope your foot/ankle is well enough to go tour the landscape for a spring interlude. Oh juni....So happy to see you've started the new thread......and thank you for the beautiful prayer! Spring hasn't quite "sprung" here in Michigan yet - at least not in the northern part....but I figure in a couple weeks we'll be bursting out all over with with lovely green budding leaves and flowers..the robins are here already, though... Ankle is coming alone nicely...have "graduated" to walking with a walker...and I may start driving again soon.... ....with the help of friends and family, I do get down to the lake often, to view the spectacular sunsets! Always a moving experience! quote: Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.
From Chief Yellow Lark's prayer above...*sigh*Keep in touch.. Love, Rainbow PS....Hello Weeseldad! Hello Pixelpixie! Hope you are having a wondeerful day! IP: Logged |

I found the thread and here I am. The prayer is wonderful. Thanks for sharing it with us. Please keep us updated with your travels. I am glad to hear that you are mending, I wish you a faster recovery. I have to pass on the fact that I have accepted a new job that sort of "fell" on me. I will explain later. Suffice it to say that I have gained a better position and better income. I will close tonight with a thought from a song. I guess you know that I get a lot of inspirition from music. "If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans". ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad IP: Logged |

This is for all of us:I met God's Will on a Halloween night He was dressed as a bag of leaves It hid the braces on his legs at first His smile was as bright as the August sun When he looked at me As he struggled down the driveway, it almost Made me hurt Will don't walk too good Will don't talk too good He won't do the things that the other kids do, In our neighborhood I've been searchin', wonderin', thinkin' Lost and lookin' all my life I've been wounded, jaded, loved and hated I've wrestled wrong and right He was a boy without a father And his mother's miracle I've been readin', writin', prayin', fightin' I guess I would be still Yeah, that was until I knew God's will Will's mom had to work two jobs We'd watch him when she had to work late And we'd all laugh like I hadn't laughed Since I don't know when Hey Jude was his favorite song At dinner he'd ask to pray And then he'd pray for everybody in the world but him I've been searchin', wonderin', thinkin' Lost and lookin' all my life I've been wounded, jaded, loved and hated I've wrestled wrong and right He was a boy without a father And his mother's miracle I've been readin', writin', prayin', fightin' I guess I would be still Yeah, that was until I knew God's will Before they moved to California His mother said, "they didn't think he'd live" And she said, "each day that I have him, well, it's jut another gift" And I never got to tell her, that the boy showed me the truth In crayon red, on notebook paper, he'd written, "me and God love you" I've been searchin', prayin', wounded, jaded I guess I would be still Yeah that was until... I met God's Will on a Halloween night He was dressed as a bag of leaves I have felt like this since I found the MSR thread the first time. Thanks, all of you.

I just witnessed the most incredible sunset! *sigh*God is truly an artist! Sitting in my computer room this evening, looking out my large window (which affords me a sweeping view of the surrounding landscape), I felt truly blessed as I experienced one of nature's most gloriously spectacular shows.... It was almost too beautiful to describe, and left me very moved..and privileged to have been witness to such an awesome sight. It was pretty close to mystical for me... As juni knows, I live on an Indian reservation here in Michigan. My house is situated on a high hill which has been cleared of an old cherry orchard (which no longer bore fruit), to build homes for those of us in our tribe who choose to live on the reservation. Along the edge of the hill looking west, stands a line of trees that were not cleared, but they are not so thick as to block the veiw beyond, which is pretty great! The trees appear as silhouetts since the leaves are not in full bloom yet, allowing one to see beyond the black outlines of their trunks and branches... .....and... .....beyond my silhouetted tree lined hill lies a valley which stretches about two miles west to the Lake Michigan shore where I can see parts of the lake as well as tree covered bluffs....very beautiful.... And every evening as the sun goes down (when it's not cloudy), I am witness to God's spectacular artwork. No two sunsets are alike, but I can be assured that they are always breath taking...... I am a very lucky person! Thank you Great Spirit! Miigwetch Gitchi Manitou! Love, Rainbow

Dear Rainbow, I love your description of sunset. I think it is just wonderful that you are a Native American and have been guided to assume the screen name that means "God's Bow", since the bow is connected to our people. By the way, I am part Cherokee. I don't believe that you are here, with us, by accident. Juni, where are you and what is new with you lately? Have you experienced any of the celebrations of the Navajo or Zuni peoiple yet? I am so jealous of you, not really, just envious. Follow your heart and know that our love precedes and follows you to protect your way. Post up and tell us how you fare and.... ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad IP: Logged |

We should rejoice, I saw a report that the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker has emerged from "extincition". A population of them has been discovered in Kentucky or Arkansas. This bird was long held to be magical by our Native American ancestors. Events like this have been written of in the Phoenix Files. Funny, isn't it? As soon as we take a break from teaching or sharing Noeyes' information, some sign comes along to give us a boot in the butt. I think someone said that the signs are always there, sometimes we just need to be smacked with one. Look at everything that has happened this year from the Tsunami to the flowers in Death Valley to the strange weather this year and tell me what y'all think. Juni, have you shared ideas with any of our cousins in the Southwest? You guys tell us what you think. And thank The Great Spirit that the woodpecker is still here. Until..... ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad IP: Logged |

Well actually, I can't be the one to decide if you really belong here, but to put it another way, it "feels good" to have you so near... You arrived just in time for the "breaking out" of the leaves on the trees, which arrived a tad late this spring...but it's a beautiful time to be here, anyway... My ankle is nearly back to normal....I'm walking...but with a limp, and sometimes a walker, thanks for asking, dear friend...*sigh* Once again....WELCOME BACK HOME.... Love, Rainbow IP: Logged |

's; it is so good to have everyone home safe. Juni; I am glad that you were blessed to meet some of the "wild" friends that I grew up near. When you have rested and gotten caught up, please tell us more. seeshell; you must get a copy of "Daybreak" or "Phoenix Rising" ,however I will share an example that got my attention last week. Noeyes said that one of the signs of change would be the moving of American businesses to foreign countries. I will bet a kiss on the cheek that you can name at least three of them that have left your state and moved to another country in the last five years. And here's the one that stopped me: walk into the produce dept. of your local grocery store and read for yourself how many of the fruits and vegetables are grown out of the U.S. After you recover your self, write and tell us what you find. I was amazed when I did that. Sorry to go so long. Bless all of you for being here and......------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad IP: Logged |

Weesledad, I read both books, but it sounds as if I need to do a re-read. The movement of large compaines is something that has caused alot of concern, and yes we also get produce that is not grown here. Thanks for the reminder. Sometimes we see something in print but it goes over our head or we were distracted at that part of the page. Looks as if that is what happened here. Blessings. SueIP: Logged |

ss; I know what you mean about being distracted. I think that the Time of Changes is a lot closer than we would like to think. I also believe that we shouldn't be afraid, just ready. Weeseldad, Thank you for the lovely blessing. I also believe that we are in the change of times and that it is a POSITIVE change. WE have the ability to make these changes for the better or can choose to let the negative settle around us and I for one refuse to set back and do nothing. I am here for a reason, although I don't know what that is I am going to try to put a positive slant on all I can. With the encouragment of like minded people such as yourself the trip will be much easier. Blessing to you my friend. SueIP: Logged |

's; I have a question for you. I happened to be watching a show called "Joan Of Arcadia". It seems that a high school girl named Joan is visited by God and given various missions to fulfil. Am I wrong, or wasn't a young woman named Joan told by God to lead the people of France in a revolution. I think she was Joan of Arc. Do you think that there is some connection here, either accidental or deliberate? Just wondering what you think? For the nonce..... ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad IP: Logged |

Weeseldad, I am not sure you are asking me or not and if I have answered out of turn please excuse. I don't know if there is a connection or not but it sure sounds as if there is alot of simularity, and the name Arc is in Arcadia. Joan of Arc was burned on the stake because she refused to recant her statments that she spoke with God,and she was a teen as well. Can you give us more details about the movie you saw? It sounds very interesting. A very special someone said "All things are possible with GOD" Blessings. SueIP: Logged |

To reply is my pleasure. This program is a series, not a movie. Every week Joan has an encounter with a person who, is God. She then is given a task or job to accomplish which will help the person and some others who are connected with them. This is a series that tries to present a positive side to being a helpful and unselfish person. Of course there are various pitfalls and hardships related to these acts. I hope that this helps you. I would say that you should check the show out, I don't know what network carries it, it may be Fox. At any rate, it seems to be a positive example for the kids. We sure need more of those. ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad IP: Logged |

Weeseldad, you are so right there are not enough shows, movies or books that give a positive slant life. That is why I so enjoyed MSR, Juni led me to her books and I will always be so greatful to her. MSR puts it on the line, we have a choice of positive or negative and gives us examples of what can take place with either choice. It truly is up to each of us to change our world for the better. This series sounds like something we could all use to help us remember to make positive choices. I don't get Fox, perhaps you can give us examples of some of the topics. Blessigs. SueIP: Logged |

I apologize for being short lately. seeshells, I haven't watched that show lately because my new job keeps me later than it used to. Tonight I have to relate an event that happened to a friend of mine that told me how involved we are in the Phoenix times. One of my subordinates, who is also a friend, called me last night. His son was recently paroled from jail for drug charges. It seems that he was outside his parents house with some of his friends when some others pulled up and fired eight rounds from a pistol. Fortunately, only one person was wounded slightly. I can't help but think that this is a manifestation of the Dark Ones because I have been talking with my friend about MSR and her lessons and warnings. As you know, those who turn away from the Light love to scare and harass those of us who try to stay on the Path of Light. I never thought that they would go in such a round about way. All I can say is that we all must be more careful as it seems that violence is on the rise, nationwide. I hope that none of you have had anything like this recently. If you know of or have personal experiences, please share them. The more we bring them out, the harder it is for the Dark Ones to do their work. Now, more than ever......------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad IP: Logged |

Weeseldad,How sad for your friend to have to experience this. Thankfully they are ok. It could have turned out so differntly! Perhaps this happening will turn their lives around. I just found out tonight that my cousin was beaten to death by her live in boyfriend. He got drugged up and killed her. She left a small daughter and a devastated family behind. But we must look for the silver linning as the old saying goes. Something good must come from it. Like your friend and others that are faced with something like this it is hard to find any good from deeds like these. The only thing that makes them bearable is having faith that it all balances out someway. We are fortunate to have such wonderful and caring friends to help us over something like this. Imagine what it would be like if there was no one to share something like this with. Your friend was blessed in the fact that he still has his son. Blessings. SueIP: Logged |
