to all of you. The woman missing in Fla. has been found. She was falsely accused of shoplifting and held incommunicado for three or four days. Legal action is pending against the store and local police. now for some good things. I ran across some things that I wrote a long time ago, when I was an aspiring writer. I still write, I no longer aspire. I believe that some of this is still pertinent to day. At the least, it may bring a smile or a tear. I submit the following thoughts with love.In these days of trouble and strife, It is indeed rare and wonderful To find the time to Stand in a meadow for a whole Afternoon and listen to The sunlight falling on the grass. The awareness of Destiny and the hand of God comes when you reach a point in your life when you look back at the series of unrelated "coincidences" that led to that point and you can see that a pattern was present and that you would have ended up here, at this time, with these people, whether you walked, rode or flew, in spite of the choices you thought you made of your own free will. If coincidence is not a synonym for miracle, we might as well leave now. Don't try to have the last word, You might get it. ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

Good morning Friends. Weeseldad touched on an aspect (a few posts ago) I have been contemplating. If a Light Warrior such as MSR`s husband can be so effectd by the darker forces, how diligent we must be. Holding ourselves in constant awareness of the pitfalls of this material life. Friends, I read JB's post and was contemplating a reply when I read a news story on my homepage about three small boys that were found dead in a car trunk in New Jersey. It drives home the fact that the Darkness can reach out and touch anyone. Please be watchful for yourselves, family and friends. I humbly submit something that I just wrote as a sort of requiem. In New Jersey tonight The number 3 is not licky. 3 diplomas will go unclaimed In 2011 or so. 3 women will marry someone else. 3 boys won't have a first date, Have a beer with Dad Or hand Mom a grandchild. 3 families sob and ask "Why?" I think I have an answer. But who would believe me? ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

's I think that I said that I have been listening to some old Rod Mckuen songs lately. I found one that was written a very long time ago, but has a lot of meaning today. Tell me how you like it. Doesn't Anybody Know My Name? I've been gone so long, Fought a war that's come and gone. Doesn't anybody know my name? My sister's up and wed. Momma's taken to her bed, Now my old dog Red's gone lame. Please tell me if you can, What time do the trains roll in? two ten, six eighteen, ten forty four. The house is falling down, The hedge is turning brown. Doesn't anybody know my name? The girl I left behind' Has run off to Caroline, I don't have to reassign to Know things ain't the same. Please tell me if you can. What time do the trains roll in? Two ten, six eighteen, ten forty four. You can't go far away On just a soldier's pay. Doesn't anybody know my name? Used to be, when I could see, Everybody wanted me. Now no one comes to see A blind man catch the train. Please tell me if you can, What time do the trains roll in? Two ten, six eighteen, ten forty four. I guess this really grabbed me because I served in Viet Nam, and I know it feels. I bet that we all know at least one person who is back from Iraq or some where, who feels this way. Let us pray that this song will eventually have no meaning. I always wish..........

To all of you; I humbly submit the following. As we walk the Path of Life, We meet many people. White, Black, Yellow, Brown and Red. At first, there is a difference Between all of these. Upon closer looking, we are all brothers and sisters in humanity. Don't you wish that we could Teach this simple lesson to our Politicians? I was inspired to write this while listening to some songs by Peter, Paul and Mary tonight. I hope that we all realize how true it is and, maybe, can pass it on to just one friend. I wish love, peace and enlightment to all. May God smile upon you and yours.

I was going through some of my old writings and free verse poetry today. I was looking for inspiration that would be pertinent to today and in accord with MSR's view of the times we are in. I guess that God really guides you when you need it. I found the following poem that I wrote 41 years ago. It saddens me that it is still true today, the only change needed is to put "Bagdad" where it says "Saigon". My offering for today: I HAVE TO TELL HIS WIFE A RIFLE STANDS, STUCK BAYONET-FIRST INTO THE SAND. AN ODD LOOKING, SOFT GREEN HAT IS COVERING THE BUTT. THE LATE AFTERNOON SUN GLINTS OFF OF THE SILVER WINGS THAT ARE PINNED TO IT. IF YOU ARE STANDING IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND YOU LOOK HARD, YOU CAN SORT OF HALF-SEE A MAN STANDING THERE. HE ISN'T TOWERING OF HEIGHT OR TERRIBLE AND IMPOSING. THERE'S A FARAWAY LOOK IN HIS EYES, AS IF HE'S THINKING OF A GIRL WHO'S IN THE STATES OR MAYBE LONDON. AND MAYBE A TEAR IS IN HIS EYE. NOT FOR HIM, BUT FOR ALL THOSE WHO COME AFTER HIM. THOSE WHO WILL DIE OR BE CRIPPLED FOR REASONS THAT NO ONE SEEMS TO BE SURE OF. MAYBE SOMEDAY IT WILL STOP, THOSE ARE THE WORDE THAT FORM HIS PRAYERS. AS THE SUN SETS THE FIGURE FADES AND YOU ARE ALONE WITH THE RIFLE, HAT AND A SIGN THAT READS- SAIGON-2KM. ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

j.b. i thank you for your emotion. I wrote that poem in 1964 because the brother of a girl I was dating in high school did not make it back. I hate that it is still pertinent today. Tonight I will offer something a lot lighter. I wrote this in the winter of 1979 while stationed in Wales, it was snowing. SUMMER THINGS Small children calling "Ally, ally oxen Free." At dusk. Fireflies dancing in crazy spirals under The trees. Icecream melting faster than you can Eat it. The lonely cry of an owl in the woods on a Quiet afternoon. The swish, click, hum of fifty different Kinds of lawn sprinklers. The collective happiness of five hundred People at a public beach. Bicycles and skateboards strewn across a Driveway at suppertime. The music from an icecream truck that kids Can hear for ten blocks. Auntie Kate's inevitable two week visit. T-shirts that advertise "SURF'S UP" Grown men in silly aprons bending over Hot charcoal. Making endless gallons of Kool Aid for an Army of thirsty kids. A quiet, hand-in-hand walk along a darkening Sidewalk at sundown. These things are Summer. I hope that this brings happy tears as you remember some of these from your life. My love and wish of peace to all of you. ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

:Peace" When I was in college, a very long time ago, I used to be part of a folk group. One of the most meaningful songs that we ever sang was a wish and a prayer for world peace. It was written by Rod Mckuen and Stephen Yates. I offer this for today, it still is timely isn't it?Ally Ally Oxen Free Time to let the rain fall without the help of man. Time to let the trees grow tall. Now if they only can. Time to let our children live in a land that's free. Ally, ally ally, ally oxen free. Ally, ally, ally oxen free. Time to blow the smoke away and look at the sky again. Time to let our friends know we'd like to begin again. Time to send a message across the land and sea. Ally, ally, ally, ally oxen free. Ally, ally, ally, ally oxen free. Strong and weak, mild and meek, no more hide and seek. Time to see the fairness of a children's game. Time for men to stop and learn to do the same. Time to make our minds up if the world at last will be. Ally, ally, ally, ally, oxen free. Ally, ally, ally, ally oxen free. I don't know about you, but it still works for me. Love and blessings.

Good Morning! Your words are lovely and heartfelt. The thread of Linda Goodman can be seen in the pieces you shared. Sadness Rhymes with Gladness. We are glad for lifes experiences and the people they bring our way. The sadness of our loss`s of those very same people. As we trod our earthly Path, can`t have one without the other. MSR so wisely said "to expect is to suffer, to accept is personal peace" I take the joys and tragedys, the happyness and sorrows and know I `m experiencing all God ment for me. I accept the Love and Grace God has for me and Pray for Peace, Joy in every Heart and count my Blessings to have had wonderful Souls enrich my life. As I read your reply, I reflect upon how wonderful it is to find true friends in life, even if you never meet physically. I read your signature and was reminded of another song. Please go to Rod Mckuen's web site "A safe place to land" and look at the lyrics to "Me And The Cat" I think that it is you, n'est pas? As I said, I believe that you and I have met before and share a common thread in life. I hope and pray that we will meet again in life. If not, I am content in the knowledge that we both try to give something to others and ease pain when we can. ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob)IP: Logged |

This was performed by Peter, Paul and Mary in the sixties to state their opinion of Viet Nam. I print this as my opinion of Iraq. ONE TIN SOLDIER (The Legend of Billy Jack).
Listen children to a story that was written long ago 'bout a kingdom on a mountain and the valley folk below. On the mountain was a treasure buried deep beneath a stone, and the valley people swore they'd have it for their very own. Go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of heaven, justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowin' come the judgment day on the bloody morning after one tin soldier rides away.
So the people of the valley sent a message up the hill asking for the buried treasure, tons of gold for which they'd kill. Came an answer from the kingdom: "With our brothers we will share all the secrets of our mountain, all the riches buried there."
Go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of heaven, justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowin' come the judgment day on the bloody morning after one tin soldier rides away.
Now the valley cried with anger; mount your horses, draw your sword, and they killed the mountain people, so they won their just reward. Now they stood beside the treasure on the mountain, dark and red, turned the stone and looked beneath it. "Peace on earth" was all it said.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of heaven, justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowin' come the judgment day on the bloody morning after one tin soldier rides away.
We should copy this and send it to Washington and also pray that we are not the tin soldier. Love and prayers for those who serve.

As you can tell by the smilie, I am really feeling wonderful tonight. I had an opportunity to help a friend of mine today and I siezed it with both hands and held on for life. He is a coworker and friend and one of the brakes on his truck bound up. The last time this happened, he paid $200 to fix it. I asked him to come over and we fixed it for twenty dollars and about an hour of time. He has a new baby and his wife is not working yet, they have been struggling to make ends meet. I was able to fix his truck, send a nice dinner home with him and I am letting him help on a weekend side job which will give him about $200. This is what life means, I wish everyone could feel what I am feeling tonight. I would like everyone to tell everybody that they know; if someone ever helps you-pass it on. This simple concept can change your life for the better overnight. I promise. To all of you...------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

weeseldad, thank you and God Bless you! My offering from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow The Song of Hiawatha, part one:
"I am weary of your quarrels,
Weary of your wars and bloodshed, Weary of your prayers for vengeance, Of your wranglings and dissensions;
All your strength is in your union, All your danger is in discord; Therefore be at peace henceforward, And as brothers live together. "I will send a Prophet to you, Who shall guide you and shall teach you, Who shall toil and suffer with you If you listen to his counsels You will multiply and prosper; If his warnings pass unheeded, You will fade away and perish! "Bathe now in the stream before you Wash the war-paint from your faces, Wash the blood-stains from your fingers, Break the red stone from this quarry, Mould and make it into Peace-Pipes Take the reeds that grow beside you, Deck them with your brightest feathers, Smoke the calumet together, And as brothers live henceforward. * * * * * Bob, You are a guiding light & my Heart smiles for the simple joy you created.. I know that I use the angel icon when I post to you and some others. Please know that it is heartfelt and sincerely meant. I feel that some of the persons that I share my life with, here or in the physical, are truly in this incarnation in order to do great good, even if it is in small doses. I have sensed that you and I are kindred spirits and I feel that we have been together somewhen. I know that I am made better for having known you. Having said all that, I think that I will say g'night and wish everyone a blessed day. Thank you for the selection from "Hiawatha" It has meaning today, if only those who need to, will listen.------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit and may the Light of the Father light your way. weeseldad(bob) IP: Logged |

Hello you wonderful Spirits,I have now completed 'Spirit Song' and am half way through 'Pheonix Rising'. I am asking, if anyOne is able/has Time, to share their ideas/feelings about the Prophecies of the Earth Changes. This is serious stuff. I know we make our own reality, but we can't force the masses to see what they are not ready to see. It would take a miraculously powerful force to penetrate their being and awaken their eyes; their real-eyes; their Self, for this to happen. To show them Pure Love. However, that is not the nature of our reality; we chose to come into this world so that we may experience an existence separate from God; that is our free will. And so many people are choosing to live their lives SO separate from the Great Spirit; our true source. The temptations of this world are too enticing. Anyway, to get back to the point- I AM deeply concerned about the Prophecies. Even our Environmental Scientists tell us the future is uncertain; they do not seem optimistic. Perhaps many people (with their energy/prayers)are helping to delay cataclysm or even prevent it. Still, it is best not to simply fall into complacency. I haven't watched the news in years; to me, before, it was the same old story and not the full picture. However, I am ceratinly going to pay more attention from now on! Can any body tell me, from their knowledge, what they think about the prophecies and their accuracy. By prophecies I mean Mary Summer Rain AND other, likeminded....... Is it Time for me to get out of England? And where would I go? This IS important, and I don't know if I can find the answers to my questions alone. I am not ready to delve into the spirit worlds yet. When I was a child, I chose to separate mySelf from these things because of the negative spirits.......that's another story. Anyway, I shall be searching for my answers.......
