I am well & enjoying winter.

Rainbow had her tumor removed and unfortunatly it returned, so she is still receiving care to conquer it.

Prayerfully, she will be back with us soon.

Hows things in the southland?

Dear JB, it it good to see you again. I am saddened to hear about Rainbow. I have been rereading "Daybreak" and am comforted in the thought that Rainbow may have balanced her karmic debt and is going "home".
I want to relate an event that happened today. I was at work and I answered a question before it was asked. As my coworker eyed me as if I just turned blue or something, I realized that I had dreamed that very event a few months ago. I tried to explain but wasn't very god at it. Have you ever had anything like that happen? Other than that, things are very well and warm here. I believe that we are seeing the beginning of great changes. Not wanting to ramble, I guess I'll say "Adios" for now....

For those who haven't heard; Rainbow was called Home by God on Sunday night. I'm sure that we all have a thought or prayer for her. I am just going to wish her the old sailor's prayer.

Hello weeseldad! yes, i have been awol and regrouping. I apologize for my long absence.
Last month my younger sister very unexpectedly passed over. The family is recovering from the shock but the loss is overwhelming at times.
On the heals of Rainbow`s passing and a family friend, it has been a deep time of reflection and quietude.
All is as it should be and I ask God for patience and understanding in my weakness and sorrow. I know His Will is being done and I find Peace and Grace in his Love and Mercy.
I will look in for you!

I just read through this thread.
wow, it's so beautiful~ the connection and care for one another that grew here through the seasons of time.

weeseldad, Rod McKuen is my favorite poet and I enjoyed your poems that you posted as well.

I loved reading Ginny/Rainbow's awe of her beautiful sunsets. It was nice to feel her joy in embracing and cherishing all the beauties in life around her. She let nothing slip her by.

Through Ginny's passing, her son Tommy and I have become good friends and for that I'm very grateful.
He is considerate, generous, kind, sensitive, creative and has a crazy, devilish humor--much like Ginny, lol.

I hope to vacation along the beautiful Lake Michigan shores this summer. I'm on the other side-- near Lake Huron, but there's always been something more magical about Lake Michigan (and Lake Superior). Don't know why or how to explain, lol...just feelings.

It is so good to once again share on this thread. Lialei, I recommend that you go with the feeling about Lake Michigan. It "feels" like a Godsent feeling and that can never be wrong. I hope you find a peaceful, easy feeling. Yes, I stole that.
