Hey, all of you! Where the heck is everyone?
I am still in debt to y'all for the lift that I needed, thanks. I'm happy to say that I have gotten a new job at a place that I was before and I am happy. We all get together every Sunday for a family dinner and I thank the Father every Sunday night. As I count my blessings, are all of you happy this summer? Tell us how you are, good or bad. We wll celebrate with you or pray for you. For now, my love to all of you....

Greetings weeseldad,I just missed you by minutes .

I`m in debt too, right up to my ears Ah well, life is all about challenges & rising to the occasion is part of the fun ey! Happy, yes debts and all. We are never given more than we can handle and it`s doled out according to our Faith.

My gardens are lush and magnifies the glory of God to provide for us. I will be enjoying fresh green beans, peas, and strawberries soon

Congrats on the new old job & may it provide you & your family with all you need.

Your family dinners sound wounderful. My love & prayers to you & yours.

's It is wonderful to hear from you guys. I hope that some more of us get back on.
, I know how you feel. I was riding my bicycle into work a few months ago and I caught a wet train rail and flipped and broke a bone in my hand. It's ok now. My sympathy to you, heal fast.
For now...

broken bones are an awful painful reminder of our, ahem, aging process. and frail human condition.

What is a "wet train rail"?

juni....toe is getting better...*sigh*

.....now about that "age" thing....

.....and oh, if you're serious about that question to Bob about the "wet train rail," - I think he probably meant crossing over a freshly rained on railroad track....(but I could be wrong)

Hello to y'all and welcome to the new people.
JB, to answer your question, rainbow is right. I found out that wet train tracks are really slick. Lesson learned, I am real careful now.I am gad to see that everyone is well. As for that age thing, I believe that years have no meaning. I am almost 60 and don't really care who knows. What counts is who you are and how you relate to others. I don't think that any of us on here need to worry, just keep on being us and all elsewill be as it is supposed to. For now.....

I haven't seen any new posts for awhile. I trust everyone is ok. I'm not one to scare easily, but the recent developments in the middle east makes me nervous in reference to "Phoenix Rising' I hope that this mess is merely a bump in the road. Love to all of you....

's It's good to see you. I've been busy myself lately. I guess you're right, it's time to sit back and watch. I will admit to cutting up some extra firewood this year(we have a fireplace) and I have done a lot of extra maintainence on the ol' pickup. I don't think I'll have to run for the hills, but it doesn't hurt to have a little insurance. Besides, the way the weather has been going, I may need to cook over a fire if we get a big storm in Virginia. I guess I'm just nervous these days because I live in the biggest Military area on the East Coast.
Enough of that. Love and Peace to all of you. For now......

Greetings Friends!

It`s been awhile ey

I`ve been busy putting uo extra fire wood ( wood stove) and garden goodies. It`s been a bountiful year so I figured a sign to put extra up w/plenty to share.

A year of many global surprises (or were they?)and perhaps time to dilegently tend too our home fires.

Wishing all a lovely summers eve as Labor Day pushs near.

's I love your answers. You both always remind me that hope springs eternal and love conquers all. , you always seem to have an animation that touches my heart. I don't know how you do it, but it is a rare gift indeed. And, Juni, you never fail to give us a sage piece of advice. Thanks. I guess that I just have faith that mankind will find a way to mess up an otherwise good thing. My thanks to both of you for just the right touch to put a smile on my face and a shuffle in my step. My love and respect for you guys grows each day.
I am going to teach for my church again this year. Wish me luck, as it seems that I have been given a third grade class this time. I will need the patience of Job. For tonight....

's I just realized that I haven't written in a long time. This time I have some really wonderful news. But first, how are all of you? I hope and trust that you are doing fine and that everyone is in good health and spirits.
We are all doing really well here and fall is finally starting to sneak in at night.
Now I have to tell you about a wonderful event that happened today. If any of you have had any experience with the military service, you know that you almost always lose touch with the friends that you make while serving. Today I received a phone call from someone that I had not seen in 25 years. He drives a truck and had a run to our area for the first time. He just decided to call our number in the phone book to see if it was us. We picked him up and had a wonderful evening. I know that there is a reason for this to happen after all these years. I assume that The Father will tell me when it is time. Isn't it wonderful when you renew a friendship?
I guess I better stop here for now.

Time sure is slipping by quickly isn`t it?!

Yep, alive & kicking. Snow came early & kicked me into high gear.

Are you all satisfied with the election outcome? I am glad it is history now and let the future unfold . God is in charge anyhow
