She's a movie star now, not an actor. Which is a shame, for she is talented.

I don't think if someone is a big "movie star" that they are less of an actor. Daniel Craig is an absolutely superb actor and he also happens to play James Bond. Christian Bale is brilliant and he plays Batman brilliantly. Angelina is a fine actress. They become big movie stars because they appeal to the masses - they make money for the studios. That doesn't make them less of an actor.

You regard Ralph in such high esteem as an actor, and yet he's seen as a "movie star". If I was a movie maker or writer or musician, whatever - I'd be delighted that my art/craft/works reached the masses. Should that label it blockbuster or whatever - who cares - the more people are exposed to it - the better. Not in terms of money - but in terms of - if you've got something to say, some part of you that you want to share - you want it to be loud and reach as many people as you can.

Are U2 less musicians for being one of the best rock bands?

Angelina has an appeal that reaches a lot of people. I suspect a lot of it comes down to the fact that she's very beautiful to look at. If she was ugly her message would not be reached by as many. She's using what she's got to share what she values with others. That's not selling out - that's just wisdom, smarts - in using what you've been given.

If you gave the performance of your life - wouldn't you want as many people as possible to see it? Would that make you less of an actor?

I take great consolation in the stats that 93% of gay men agree with our choices in men. Ah, they have impeccable taste!

I do have to ask though - note that both Sean and Christian are missing. Umm - why would anyone choose Liam Gallagher over either of them?

Yeah - Much Older Man Syndrome. MOMS. Well, it's on the right track....... parental replacement, perhaps. And yeah, I can see JJI as a bit of an old woman. Dare I say that any woman involved with JJI would actually be a mother figure. I can see him being a bit of a baby. I don't need a baby. I'd much prefer a man thanks. He does have a fabulous voice that is ageless/timeless though.

It's probably better that you didn't because you may have done somethings that would ruin relationships you have with people in your life. Husband, family, children, friends, etc. But boy oh boy, it may have been tempting!

I was engaged when this happened. That's the thing about choices - you eradicate any other experiences or opportunities when you make on. You lose a lot of options.

I don't think it would have been tempting. I think it would have just been totally irresistible.

93% of gay men questioned cannot be wrong. It's the remaining 7% that I'm concerned about.

They chose Liam Gallagher over Robbie Williams??? WHAT!?

Yeallllooow Folks!

So had fun at the AC/DC concert today Lol! And now I am stuck back with work *Le groan.* Gosh those who think Canadians are quite little busy beavers (no pun intended Lol!) should really be at a gig sometimes... Gosh, downtown was so roudy today!

Reporting for duty!

23 was shocked yesterday morning when she was awoken to find a message on her phone saying that a friend was going to be in town and was coming in 4 hours! For some reason this friend forgot that we lived here and ended up a booking a hotel room on the next street. I've had to entertain him with the sites and was dragged to GC yesterday. He's off at a wedding now (the purpose of his visit). Well anyway, I was briefly on this morning, just didn't post anything on Godzala.

Thanks for pic, much appreciated

So Mr X - how's those ears going? Do you think they'll be ringing in a few days?

BM - are we going to see your bap pictures with S Bean?

I wouldn't pick him over my binman.

And that's not hyperbole. The binman is polite and friendly, as well as obviously being the chunky type of fella who is useful for carrying things and being all around handy.

Gallagher is just a yob.

When I was asked the movie question I said Juliette Lewis, the person asking thought that was a good choice. Not sure now I am older, but then, so is she, lol.

Maybe you should do it, Meta, maybe I should write it up and give you the job.

Btw, no need to stalk the streets of London, just let me know when you are over.

~And I will make sure I am out of the country.

MWHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Ah, kidding, a night out on the tiles would be fun.

Juliette Lewis is a good choice. Always liked her. She was with Brad Pitt before Gwyneth.

I know this won't be very good Aussie representation, but I've never seen AC/DC live.
