Yes, a couple of times. My father-in-law walked in on us once. Just opened the door and proceeded with conversation. And then left like nothing was happening. It was hilarious. Not at the time. But in retrospect. IP: Logged |

Hiney is behind isn't it? Bum? Well, that's how I use that word. I hope it's right. Imagine if it's not! ROFL. IP: Logged |

Oh, that's really sweet. You're a sweetheart. I don't think I've ever walked in on others having sex. I remember as a child I could overhear my parents sometimes. I'm totally traumatised by that. The quintessential love/hate relationship my parents. They totally hate each other and yet they can't live without each other. IP: Logged |

Walked in on others: My sister and her bf years ago. My fault. I knocked on her door, but didn't wait for any response before barging in. My eyes!!Was walked in on: Well, wasn't walked in on so much as rolled in on. My SO and I were in the kitchen, and out of the corner of my eye I see my mom's wheelchair whizzing by the kitchen doorway. (My SO and I had both thought my mom wasn't home b/c there was a physical therapy class she went to at that time. Turns out she had skipped the class that day.) I was mortified that she'd seen us, but had to know for sure if she had seen anything, so later I asked her. She just said, "I'm very happy for you." IP: Logged |

Another time we were at the beach at night time and I was sitting on the wooden fence and Mr PA was standing up and a woman walked past and just smiled at us. What else was she going to do? We didn't stop. LOL!IP: Logged |

In the US, "Hiney" is a very formal way to address someone you respect, like your in-laws and traffic police. Please be sure to use it like that if you ever visit here. Your social graces would be applauded and make you the toast of the town. IP: Logged |

ROFL. Think I'll stick to "honey" thanks. My parents are Meditteranean and in the early days Mr PA used to try to say things in the lingo and he used to ask me for things he could say. So I would tell him these horrible things to say to my parents. Like, addressing my mother as a horrible cow and telling my father he's the devil and stuff like that. I used to roar with laughter. I swear he married me just to get revenge. B@stard. IP: Logged |

Oh right - as in Your Highness!! The 'walk-in' stories are cute!! Have you noticed, it tends to bring a smile to that someone. Come on Jane, I bet you smiled after walking in on your sister!!! Gotta go gals - my partner wants some loving attention!! Have a great night!!! IP: Logged |

LOL jane. You know, that's really really sweet of your mum too. I like that story. Not sure how I'd go if it were one of my daughters. I'd tell him to stand up (so I could check him out most likely). I'm a little naughty like that - you may not have guessed. IP: Logged |

janeThanks for the link. I've been curious about that. Not sure I'm better off for having see it though . Works to my advantage in the sense that, well, if he thinks that's okay - well, like I said, I have much to teach him. IP: Logged |

I think walking in on someone would be really sexy - visually. I could go that. I think I could be a voyeur. I'm not into pornography though. But I am visual. Some movie sex scenes can be really really hot. Not many. I felt really strange/uncomfortable watching that Colin tape though. Maybe I was just really that embarrassed for them.IP: Logged |

Actually, the most traumatizing in terms of when I think about it now I still cringe also involves my mom. I had my laundry basket by the washing machine, waiting for my turn to use it. But instead my mom loaded it for me (which she normally never did), and when doing so came across a dirty, filthy letter I had written to my bf at the time. I was visiting my sister in her bedroom, and my mom walked in, handed me the letter, and left. We never spoke of it. IP: Logged |

I'm sure our parents know more than we think anyway. But that's just uncomfortable. Best left unspoken. As a parent I don't think I'd want to know that much detail. Too much. IP: Logged |
