LOL! 23. Ummmm, would it disappoint everyone if I told you folks that my hair these days leans towards the bottom left style depicted in that pic?

PA:

Well, she has a hard time trying to get me near her albums in the first place Lol! In her own words; "You're ears are too soft. Lets pump some metal in them."

I am a Libra Lol! Even with a Leo Asc. there is so much a loud pitch my ears can take.

JT - Roxy Music, Bowie, Chic (listen to Chic's bass line, JT directly copies from it), Japan.

I must admit that I've never paid any attention to JT's playing. For Duran Duran it's the lyrics - the vocals for me.

The only bass I've ever really listened to has been JPJ, Adam from U2, John Entwhistle - as well as the obvious bass lines. This is where iPods are great - because the sound is so sharp - you can pick up things that you never really do otherwise.

I'm a guitar girl. It takes a lot of listening to get beyond the guitar for me.

I do like Roxy Music and also Bryan Ferry's music. For some reason I'm a big fan of Brian Eno. There's something about him that I really really like. Like Bowie - but don't love him like many people do.

"Your ears are too soft".

LOL!

Well as a female, as long as it's the ears that are too soft....... I wouldn't be complaining. I, ummmm, one of those things that we'll keep between ourselves - I have some Air Supply on my iPod! ***cheeks flush red in dead embarrassment***.

Bowie's good but Roxy is best at their best Seriously amazing band. JT did get me into them but they are just way beyond what DD is. So sophisticated and witty.

I'm a bass listener. Always have been, love Chris from Nirvana and Joe Lally from Fugazi. Best is Mick Karn from Japan. He plays fretless bass, it's pornographic really. JT is a very good bassist but it's just a shame that he sounds so much like Bernard Edwards from Chic, if he could only create his own sound or could have at the time. "Got The Life" from Korn is very good too.

Nah that's more nerd isn't it? Isn't a geek someone who's really obsessed about certain topics, originally science?

That was the best of Daniel Johns. My husband is a bit of a Silverchair fan. I just like one song: The Greatest View.

Mr PA is very much into Metallica. He and I have very different tastes in music. Except for Metallica and AC/DC we're considerably different. He's an INXS fan, which I've never been.

PA:

Lol! Oh no worries. Would you be surprised if I told you that majority of my playlists consist of Hard Rock and modern classic pieces? Lol! I am more a classical music buff but the animal in me needs release and thus that is where Hard Rock comes in.

LOL! You're a sweetheart! A very edgy sweetheart but still a sweetheart. It still beats my GF's comment of me being her first pseudo Lesbian experience of Halloween Night (and she said it right infront of all my pals...)

Oh and I am a PROUD Geek! Geeks are cool Lol!

I don't care if people agree with me or not. I just really appreciate when people think for themselves. We can agree or disagree respectfully. I like that. Life is more interesting when we hold different views but can respect each others right to them.

Quite unremarkable synastry with Adam Clayton. Except for this: His Sun opposite my Pluto. And his Moon & NN conjunct my Pluto. Also his Mars conjuncts my Pluto. There's tension there.

I like classical music. But because I also like the energy of rock I like music that reflects both. I can see a lot of similarities between the two styles. Some rock - like Queen - has that classical element to it. I can see rock in Tchiakovsy. I think they're very closely bound, actually.

Goodnight Geek 23.

I remember - I also remember that comment from Simon le Bon you posted the other day - and so, as it seems, JT also has a geek without.

Sweet dreams.

Definately and its recently that Bon Jovi and Aerosmith decided to add elements of classical montage in their songs. Aerosmiths "Don't want to Miss a thing" was so charged!

Right now though, I am concertrating on following the rhythm of Calypto/Spanish influenced themes (for Tango purposes Lol!)

You have to listen to "Libertango" by Bond.
