Perhaps the Medieval Period, but not the 1920s or '30s. I'm more connected to 1700s, 1800s and then late 1970s/1980s. Are you interested in the Renaissance at all? Oh, and I'm particularly connected to Great Britain and France.

I just froze inside, reading your post.
Like a deer, paralysed by the headlights, a feeling of: "being caught".
Strange, isn`t it?

Ian`s eyes have been haunting me a little bit during the last days though.
And my dreams haven`t been all that comforting.
I am constantly dreaming of getting the notice that certain people I once cared for a lot, have died. Very unsettling.

Ok this is going to sound so strange. I have been having a lot of psychic/astral/past life dreams the past week since I had my aura reading by LEXX and decided to explore myself a little further. I even had someone do some work on me...

Anyway--I dreamt I was in a tavern. You and Ian were lovers. Unfortunately, in this dream, he had a drinking problem, but he had the same beautiful eyes.

You came into the tavern and begged with him to stop drinking and to come home (I think he may have been your husband). At first he was happy to see you because I got the sense that there had been a separation between you two and he thought you were finally relenting, but when you started to tell him that if he didn't come home with you right now and stop drinking, you would leave him, he got very upset.

You looked him dead in his eyes and told him you loved him, but you couldn't do this anymore. The whole place froze. The look in your eyes was so haunting. I saw all of this like I was there yesterday.

He paused for a moment, and then said something horrible and cruel, which caused you to cry and then you left.

A few moments later, he was filled with regret and begged all of us there to go and speak to you but you wouldn't listen to anyone. You were through with him.

I even personally asked you to forgive him and you refused. I am not sure what my role was. At first I thought I was an observer but then you and I spoke and I heard the anger and regret in your voice. So perhaps we were really good friends. Or maybe I was a barmaid that you confided in frequently. Not sure.

In any event, I saw in my mind that you and Ian never reconciled, and that he died from drunkeness. He was filled with regret until the day he died, and never stopped loving you.

I had a dream about LEXX too, and in it she was royalty and had some very unusual circumstances surrounding the birth of one of her children, so I'm doing some historical research to see if what I dreamed could have been plausible.

that is so sad.

The funny thing is that when I had my first "spiritual awakening" this life, I had "conjured up" a personality of a man that I loved very much, but he had a drinking and control problem. I projected it onto someone else, but you never know.
The thing is I had never experienced something like that in my present life. My Dad never had a drinking problem (over the course of years I learned though, that my uncle and the aunt of my mum were / are alcoholics though, but the "peaceful / lonely" kind, not the choleric ones).

I never thought about Ian that way actually.
Interestingly some months before I was having a dream about a tavern, too. I was dreaming I was waiting of someone there, even though I didn`t want to wait for him and go with him, it was almost like I was waiting to be kidnapped. lol
I never knew who it was though.
But then again, from my childhood on I have had dreams in which I were waiting for a man.
Actually I remember dreaming how I am lying in a bed, with a long corridor and a long blowing yellowish / reddish / brownish curtain , and I am waiting for someone, a vampire actually (I have had a friend who was a bit older than me and introduced me to vampire stories), but not fearfully, it was a bit of fear, but mixed with very much anticipation and a strong feeling of longing / yearning. I even heard steps in these dreams, but he never came. Which was the biggest disappointment.
I also remember how I knew he would be having dark hair and eyes "sparkling like icecrystals" (probably describing a shade of blue or grey), which explains to me why I am so drawn to darkhaired men with light eyes.

Maybe it was just that song my mum used to sing to me, when I had to get into bed. She was singing a lot of `lullabies, but this one (not a lullaby) struck me to the core even as a child; I still sing it from time to time to myself.

I don`t even know why I thought of that all at once.

Oh and I take these dreams very serious. Spiritual messages are given to me through dreams mostly.

You know, Ian has always had this haunting quality about him to me. At first I thought it was just his portrayal of the Damon character, but now I'm not sure. There's something very compelling about him. He is very bonded to the Damon character, and portrays him flawlessly, and if you notice, Damon has a drinking problem. Maybe he is finding something within himself that helps him project that vulnerability and tragedy.

I'm beginning to believe that we are drawn to what we know...whether in this life or the last. Perhaps that was one of his/your stories that I am all too familiar with.

In the tropical and dracos, there are some interesting aspects that hint at something. Look at his Chiron in your 5th and yours in his 1st for example. Sun conjunctions, etc.

hmm, that actually is strange.
Though I love to talk to you about Ian, something is hesitant inside of me. Almost like some voice there saying: "I`m not going to go there. I am not going to touch that spot again."
Don`t know, maybe I just feel like there are too many rummaging in my mind. lol

Actually I always refrained from drinking (too much). I am not antialcoholic, but just a bit controlled when it came to drinking. Had to resist some pressure of my peergroup, but if I am good at something, than resisting. lol
There were of course times I drank a bit more than I should have, I never had a black out or was really drunk. A part of me was very fearful of what might happen then.
And I always tried to stay away from drunk people. They are unpredictable, even more so than usual.

Yes that is true.
It just dawned on me that maybe he is the reason that I had these "raven dreams" during spring.
And coincidence or not, I once was writing a character (for a musical play), whose name was Damon Raven.
Dark hair, light eyes, ruthless when it came to what he wanted, not shy of using manipulative games and even some physical pressure.
Reminds us of someone?
The thing is just, I have written that character somewhen in the 90`s, long before there was even a thought of Vampire diaries or Ian, but whne I found that "dramatis personae" again some days ago, I was instantly reminded of him. Of course there was a "light and good counterpart"; that counterpart was blonde and happy-go-lucky and charming in a boyish way, and his name was Jesse. Sometimes I just don`t know where these characters come from. Sometimes it feels, as if they already exist.
Actually a friend of mine once told me after reading a certain story of mine, that she sometimes felt as if I was just writing down stories that already had happened in a far away time.

Well, his birthtime is not known.

But actually I saw some interesting conjunctions, not just his Mars on my Sun. But also his Aphrodite on my Eros, my Valentine on his Eros.
Mercury-Mars-conjunction DW.
DW conjunction of DNA / Pluto.

And in the Draco`s his Dr Valentine conjunct my DR ASC.
his Dr Pluto conjunct my Dr Venus.

Hmm, not sure I really want to look closer there.
