Oh, I love the bad boys, and Damon from The Vampire Diaries is the baddest of those boys.

I didn't watch the whole first season, but you've just reminded me of a song that I loved in episode 4, I think it was. This one. It fit perfectly with the scenes - I think Damon was going to kill someone.

I've just remembered another vampire show that was on on the mid-90's. A police detective, who lived on blood from a hospital?

I didn't watch Buffy, and only caught a few Angel shows in re-runs over the past six years or so.

Well, LEXX, THAT was what I was trying to figure out ---WHY--the vampire---is so universally thought of as sexy?

I was just curled up downstairs, half asleep, when I thought about this thread again. I thought what you were getting at earlier, was the shamelessness that can come with most vampires. So something associated with vampires is the excuse to let go, and not be afraid - be totally uninhibited?

I don't understand the appeal of vampires, either. All I know is that Peter Murphy and Bauhaus innovated the goth style. Vampires are the fad these days...*groan* This is the real deal here.

Cool, so many replies!

Julian is / was my "cold attraction".
Anyway the dream sequence in ""Tale of a vampire" was horrifying to me.

That is Nick Knight from Forever Knight.
He usually drank cow's blood though, unless Natalie got him human blood because she could, working in the morgue.
I have the entire series on DVD.

Gerard Butler all the way lol

Asteroid Transylvania
conjuncts ASC, 1'
squares MC/IC, 1'
sextile Uranus, 2'

No wonder I like vampire movies... minus the Twilight saga, it bored the sh*t outta me.

Don't forget the new vamp from 'The Gates' series, Luke Mably

or.. vampire Bush

#1- Gary Oldman!-The CLASSICAL One

#9- Julian Sands- The LONELY One

#8- Who is He?????

Lonake,

We have similar tastes. Are our charts similar? I've always had a thing for Gary Oldman. Julian Sands is just pure dark deliciousness. I don't know who the other guy is, but i wouldn't mind finding out!

Oh, and I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, but him as Lestat... OH MY!!!! Perhaps it's because I like meanness.

Oh I know I left out h poppoed into my minde, and I picked those which poppoed into my mind.

Meta,

agree on Tom Cruise. I was really surprised with him as Lestat. Pleasantly surprised. It was like he suddenly could act (now I am the mean one, am I not? ).

Astrological correlations:

Gary Oldman (1): Aries
Gerry Butler (2): Scorpio
Stuart Townsend (3): Sagittarius
Ian Somerhalder (4): Sagittarius (yummy. lol Bad is fun seems to be his attitude, and for some reason he comes across as pretty sexy)

(5) Paul Wesley: Leo

(6) David Boreanaz: Taurus

(7) Robert Pattinson: Taurus
(funnily those two Taureans are these I find the most boring)

(8) Kyle Schmid: Leo (and I am going to see him next month )

(9) Julian Sands: Capricorn

(10) Jude David Heyworth Law: Capricorn

Venus - Pluto or Mars-Pluto is said to relate to "vampires".
So I was thinking (before work got in the way) to check for:

Venus, Mars (Sun or Moon) in Scorpio or in strong aspect to Pluto in thehir natals (conjunction, opposition,s quare, as those tend to really grab your attention).

This Kyle Schmind has Moon (in my 12th), Saturn (conjunct my ASC) and Mars (trine my Venus) all in Scorpio. What a lovely lad. To me he looks like the perfect vampire. More than any of the others. His face is so cut, and there's something high status (upper class/aristocratic) about him. I would believe him as Lestat, or Louie or as any vampire period. Perhaps not Dracula, though, as Dracula (in my opinion) needs to have age. Have history. He's an old soul. Full of reluctance, hate and Mina.

DD, is Kyle a decent actor? Haven't seen him in anything, so i can't make that judgment.

Gary has Venus and Mars in the 8th. Pluto in the third, and a pretty hectic chart otherwise.

DD,

Any guess on Julian's ASC?

Lexx, that's the one. Thank you.

I've just remembered a movie I half paid attention to on Halloween, four years ago - a movie my sister loves: Dracula: Dead & Loving It

But that's Mel Brook's take on vampires. (I loved Renfield's visit to the sanitarium: "How are you feeling today?"
"Normal. Perfectly normal."

(Damn, my computer keeps freezing up.)

Meta, girlfriend,

I am telling you very kindly and politely and in a quiet voice, just in case you don`t know.

KYLE IS MINE!!!!!

I have found him and I am gonna keep him.

you can have all others, even number 10.

Just kidding.

EDIT:
He is not a bad actor, but I have only seen him acting as vampire, so I guess I can`t really judge from that alone.

To be honest when I caught a glimpse on him on TV, I just got stuck there, because I was flabbergasted. It was like someone has taken the guy from my (past life) Glastonbury dream and put him on screen!
Still under shock about that.
Also under shock, cause last year I was sudde3nly hearing his voice in my mind, and he was telling me that he would come to a certain city in Germany. I scolded myself for being silly, but looked it up, and indeed he came from Canada to Germany at that time for a convention.
Due to stressing out I couldn`t go there.
Now last week he suddenly popped back into my dreams (EXACTLY, down to the exact day, a year after the last dream, and it was actually the SAME dream, though the setting had changed) and upon awaking I was regretting having missed the chance to see him on that convention. And then I heard his voice in my mind again, saying he would be there soon, same place.
Of course I was thinking I was just dreaming up this, cause he was there last year, why should he visit again?
But still I looked it up.
He will be there again, indeed, and so will I this time.
It`s just a strange thing. Stranger than most others given the unlikeliness of this happening - AGAIN.
Actually for a moment I was thinking I might be caught in a timeloop, and I was triple checking if I got the dates right. lol

This is just, well, strange.

WOT? Angel was the man and you know it.

I agree with you on Rob Patterson/Edward though. He was so redundant...even in the book.

I guess for my final answer I will go with....Angel and Lestat (the Tom Cruise Version). haha

I don't want Kyle. Kyle is far too... not for me. He's attractive, but there's a reason I haven't seen him in anything-- he's not my type! Go get 'im sister! Much power to you!
