Well, could be. But I donīt confuse that.If I say: Ian`s Mars is on my Sun, that is all everyone needs to know. And that Gerry`s Venus is conjunct my Uranus - it`s enough information, too. Jude, Julian and Kyle are different though. Something about them really gets under my skin. Something that makes me feel "raw inside" with varying degrees. Not sure I really want to look to closely though. Well, Kyle is not that bad, actually I read some things he was writing on his page, and I was sitting here and saying to myself: "Oh **** , I don`t want to start liking him." IP: Logged |

PeaceAngel, yea, i know who your talking about. there are three "top dogs" of the volturi, aro, marcus and caius. aro is the top dog of the top dogs...i didnt like him in the book, he creeped me out too much...although caius had practically no role since he almost NEVER talked in the book i still liked him better than any of them but anyways....when i go to astro.com i cant find that "additional objects" thing for the asteroids Edit: nevermind, i found a way of finding it------------------ Dreams When you find a dream inside your heart, dont ever let it go...for dreams are tiny seeds from which beautiful tomorrows grow. -Author Unknown IP: Logged |

about the whole feeding on the blood is murder thing. Are people really to be considered better than cows? Life is Life. Blood = Food to a vampire. This is a specific statement please don't bring up vegan because plants are alive too, They have a birth cycle, they grow up and a death cycle. To be alive and to continue means eating something to keep you in that state. That something is usually alive at one point or another. In this sense a vampire is equal or greater than human since it feeds on the highest of earths food chain. **this is all imagination anyway. PS Plants eat things from the soil, But i see no plant internet forums where different species of flora are networking on the idea of if eating nitrogen is wrong. Humans have too much baggage they carry. IP: Logged |

**This is all imagination anyway.I already had that thanks Now honestly did you really think i believed in vampires? come on now. I believe human have a great imagination capacity. = Vampires. Humans display its tendencies on a daily basis, we feed off one another all the time in many ways. IMHO much of human interest is nothing more than garbage, Including much of what i know and cherish. Human Life In this Universe seems Absurd to me. IP: Logged |

MBlake, we are well aware of this issue about vampires, but we still like to poke fun at it anyways, lol and i agree with you about the food chain/vegan/plant stuff you were talkin about. i believe everything is created to be eaten by higher beings...and by "created" i mean fertilized and grows and such, so i dont see vegetarians and vegens points of views for their lifestyles------------------ Dreams When you find a dream inside your heart, dont ever let it go... for dreams are tiny seeds from which beautiful tomorrows grow. -Author Unknown IP: Logged |

It stems from self righteousness IMHO, But if its just a choice because you like the idea its fine by me, its just a choice then so i have no real stern opinion on it. its when morality is brought in that i take issue.I was just poking fun at vampires too, i suppose my serious demeanor throws people off. Its not wrong imho to kill a cow for meat or a deer for meat.. If you are going to use that meat to survive. Killing things for snacks is questionable in my view. IP: Logged |

This is at least how I see the "vampire myth" - as a metaphor related to the human psyche more than to anything else. And what is the appeal in the popcultural vampire for me is the representation of the "ID" as they are. The contrast to the "Super ego", the social values. This is just my personal approach, please understand me, anyone should have their own. I can only explain what appeals to ME. What I realized some time ago (btw Dracula 2000 helped me seeing it a lot), is the contrast of the vampire to its antagonist. The whole myth seems to illustrate a light-shadow theme (well, literally). On the one hand we have: the vampire, night On the other hand we often have: the priest (church), day I see it as an internal fight between the conscious values of a society, symbolized in the priest, an overemphasis on the intellect, yet even more so on the "behaving according to societie`s rules" to the point of repressing emotions. Adaption may be a keyword here. The vampire on the other hand is an outcast, he does NOT live by the rules of that society, is the antagonist of people trying to maintain these rules (which often turns them into slayers). What do they hunt down though? I think the vampire may symbolize a breaking free of these social restraints (though there may be others still intact, as even the vampire world has rules), a turning away from concciousness (day) to the subconsciousness (night). Turning to where instincts and emotions live, primal, raw, without social restraints, without rules, without conscience, just living from a point of instinct and desire, without thinking about consequences. Blood is life. The vampire takes life, yes, he INTEGRATES life into himself. But of course just as the repression through social values, the "vampirism" has a price, too. Actually both sides need to be in balance. WE need rules, otherwise we wouldn`t be able to live peacefully with each other (well, look into the world, we can`t, apparently). We cannot really put our instincts and emotions over anything else (as a vampire does). On the other hand, repressing our emotions constantly leads to our own inner death. That is not a solution either. There needs to be an alchemical marriage, between the Sun (day / society / church / mind) and the Moon (night / vampire / soul). The victims of the vampire usually come from the "world of day", thought they are not really integrated, in exchanging blood they are really making an union between day and night, Sun and Moon. Like the Yin and Yang symbol. In every Yin there is a bit of Yang and vice versa. The problem probably is that each side is fighting for suppremacy. I know that this is just one minor aspect, one way to interprete a detail there, it doesn`t summarize the whole. And others may interprete it totally differently. But that is what I see in the vampire myth to a big part. The longing for that "sacred marriage" in a primal, original way (blood has always been considered being a binding force, in Germany we have the proverb: Blood is thicker than water), and also the yearning for freedom. Something I can relate to very much. When the dreams started I was suppressing a lot of my own instinctual and emotional needs, my dreams, my wishes, out of feeling they may be "inappropriate from societie`s perspective for my gender / age, whatever", and Is tarted to realize that the vampire really symbolized that deep seated need in me to be heard, even thought they were not appropriate or even welcome to me. These emotional wishes did not even need to be fulfilled, allt hey needed was being acknowledged and accepted. When I learned to say (to myself): "I WANT", the dreams faded away. Though they have come back last year, feels my lesson is not ended yet. lol

No, it`s not your serious demeanour that puts me off, it`s your arrogance. EDIT: I didn`t write that to offend you, but just donīt want to keep anything back, so someone might get the wrong impression about what I think.
Despite that I think you are right in some aspects. IP: Logged |

There's that dirty PA tart again, trying to move in on my man. Look, I realize that he is the sexiest being to have ever been brought into creation, bu please.. try to extinguish the fire burning your knickers.Tell me, why is it every time I'm in the midst of marital bliss you have to come boppin' about with your "Maid in Manhattan" punch-lines? Do i NEED to whip out the RDJ mug-shots? Really??? Oh and DD, if Ralph is a vampire, I'm dipping you in garlic. Just a safety precaution. I would hate to go strutting around Jude, or Julian, or Kyle, or Stuart (my oh my, you have so many men!) with a fat big "BITE ME!" sign on my neck... IP: Logged |

Mblake,it`s the tone of some of your sentences. I donīt know. They just came across as arrogant to me. And I thought I`d mention it. Maybe it`s just that we express ourselves differently, and now that I voiced my discomfort about this, I can put it behind me. That`s all.

If you are wanting to get anywhere close to ID or knowing anything personal of it then you are in for some discomfort, but you will get used to it if its really something you want. And remember just because i say something does not mean you have to believe it, just lemme know why you think that. Sharing ideas you know. IP: Logged |

People would react different if vegetables could moan or whimper.well some would, others maybe not. That poor carrot stick never harmed a soul... except for that ******* nitrogen and his pesky pal phosphate. Im joking here ps if plants could talk and cry what would self conscious people eat? If vegetables could scream, bleed, flounder, and anything else animal-like, I would starve to death. ...which would feed the vegetables later on, as I would turn to soil.
