Mblake,Oh I am familiar with discomfort. The difference is I am talking about it now, which I hadn`t done in many years before. Actually I am already over it. It was this line actually: "Now honestly did you really think i believed in vampires? come on now." Felt very sarcastic and arrogant to me, and as if you think I am stupid. But I realize that it might be because of my previous reaction. So I guess it was my own fault. I provoked that comment. I am extremely tired actually, so I am probably not making much sense tonight. "

Munch, munch, munchin' on some cauliflower. Personally, I admire myself for my efforts. I understand that we cannot be 100% pure in our attempts to not eat living things. However, my heart feels gentler everyday when I choose to eat broccoli crowns over cow flesh. IP: Logged |

Isn`t GErmany an Aries? Or not? I actually have no clue. lol Meta,
for some reason I don`t get what you are trying to say to me. I have many men? WEll, though that was meant in a funny way, my instant thought was that once I focused on one man and when I was "defocused" I was literally left with nothing (emotionally / spiritually), my whole world was shattered to a gazillion little pieces, and I am not going to go through something like that again, just because I know I would not survive another time. So I guess that reaches even into my "vampire-admiration"-life. Noone should be so sure of me. IP: Logged |

Hey Meta,As long as you are aware then i see no problems with it. If it helps to understand me i dont prefer to kill or not to kill. Just when its needed. Maybe its hard for me to explain but i consider it a higher ideal. Which brings me back to my earlier point, Self righteousness. I have a "higher ideal" Personally i consider myself the ultimate trash dump due to it. --At this moment in time of course And i consider this of myself in many themes and ideas and not simply this one. SEe, Mblake, had I not mentioned it, we could not have solved the misunderstanding, and it might have rumbled underneath in every following interaction, probably subconsciously.Talking of the ID, yes, it fascinates me and scares me. Cause I do feel that there are VERY unpleasant things in my id, a lot of anger actually, judgementalism, arrogance (I can only detect it, because I have it inside. I know, it`s part of my shadow), stubbornness, fear, greed, an "I want it all and deep inside I know I deserve the best" attitude, things my consciousness is avoiding like the devil avoids holy water, because consciously I really detest them. I start suspecting that there may also be a very "lust/affect-oriented" side of me, that it takes my whole braininess and intellectualism to somehow get a hold on it. And I am actually serious this time.

DD,I meant no offense when I said you had many men. I just meant that you're attracted to and attached to each of them, that's all. IP: Logged |

Higher ideals are crucibles humans put themselves through. Its basically a stepping stone from one point to another. Although going from one to another is not always a linear path. You could say the ages of around 30-50ish years of age can be called a human crucible. Youth is reckless and wild, middle age is boring and laden with responsibilities. Old age is wise and free. **Note: that example is not be taken exact, that was merely an example i pulled off the top of my head and its from my own viewpoint. That same process happens in thought maturation as well. The reason why it sounds weird in me is because im still 28 and i have youth filled exhuberance IP: Logged |

Oh and its one of the reason why i liked the russell edgington character on true blood.I respect older ideas that are better than mine and i find relevance by these in my life by my own judging. "There is only one law, the law of nature" if you follow that you will find its still at work today. Nature = A very broad view of human existence. Better ideas win because they are the best right? thats a law of nature, survival of the fittest. **Now i want to point out im talking abstractly here, i do not mean my ideas beat anybodies ideas here on this forum.. you see its a broad view point. I prefer to speak from my own view, and not from a point of forcing an idea on someone. I will get bad results like that. IP: Logged |

My favorite line from a vampire movie:Jack: "have you ever seen a vampire?" Father Guiteau: "no" Jack: "well first of all, they'r not romantic, alright? its not like they'r a bunch of f***ing fags hoppin around in rented formal wear and seducing everybody in sight with a cheasy euro-trash accent, alright? forget everything you'v seen in the movies. they dont turn into bats, crosses dont work, and garlic? wanna try garlic? you can stand there with garlic around your neck and these mother f***ers will bend you over and take a walk up your strada-chocolata WHILE he's sucking the blood outta your neck, alright? they dont sleep in coffins lined in taffata. You wanna kill one, you drive a wooden stake right through his f***in' heart. Sunlight turns 'em into crispy critters. got it?" ------------------ Dreams When you find a dream inside your heart, dont ever let it go... for dreams are tiny seeds from which beautiful tomorrows grow. -Author Unknown IP: Logged |

As a scorpio i do own up to having a fanatical viewpoint on life.I claim it, state it true, and its mine alone. Simply share the idea's I leave room for doubt, But it seems as though im talking out both ends. I have to do this with people that only understand they're world in two terms. Good and bad Im not even concerned with those questions anymore, ive been done with the whole notion. Now thats settled im able to move on to other ideas. Its a process. and it does repeat in different forms. DD- this is what i remember seeing. 'Certain astrologers have considered that Germany is traditionally ruled by Scorpio' http://scorpios.tribe.net/thread/3f741c8c-9cd8-4d6a-a777-3e32f8a1bbd1 **EDIT: after reading my post i realized how awful it sounds, im sorry i feel im giving off the vibe that im right and your wrong. Sorry im not trying to do that honestly. However if you do have a stronger viewpoint than mine that is sound i will naturally be drawn to that. Ill ask questions or if youd just like to share your own and not make it a competition is great IP: Logged |

I enjoy something very specific about the voice lestat has in the scenes between 3:45 and 4:05.Its that they took two vocal artists and blended they're voices to produce his voice. The idea is its a single voice that produces two sounds at the same time. I like the idea of two things working at once so something is possible, even better if you can make three of four work at the same time, -sometimes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bkq5s5LsKo&feature=related i found a music video from the movie, the vocal artists are the same from the first clip, i understand they did use different artists for different songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9C-7XidspU Its soft and agressive at the same time, i like it **Edit. Its 3 voices that produce lestats

Meta,I know you were just stating the obvious. Just made me think about myself, but I was awfully tired yesterday, so I might not have made that much sense actually. Mblake, I am not upset about anything. The tone of your post irked me for a moment, then I thought about it and realized, that it probably was just me being tired and maybe you triggered part of my own shadow . So for me it is all good. I wonder if you have much Scorpio in your chart. That could land in my 12th house. I find it fascinating that we can have so many different angles on perspective on "vampires". Really fascinating. PA, I almost bought that film you mentioned. But didn`t because Rafe was in it. Something about him on the cover put me off the film. lol
