Even the energy in the air is like this. The transiting Sun in Scorpio feels different when there's also a retro Sco Venus than when there's a Libra Venus, and so on. All the energies as a whole shape one another to give the whole time its particular essence. And that's what happens with individuals. Individuals have an essence that comes from all that they are.

I find this thread's question interesting - studying how a group perceives another group. But I think it's nowhere near specific enough to capture the reality of people. Not only will the Earth signs vary considerably depending on their whole chart, but so will the the perception of the perceiver based on her whole chart.

RAS, as you know , you have Venus in Leo. That alone will make you value and adore exuberant personalities. Venus is particularly important since it rules your chart.

But it's quincunx your Saturn-Neptune cnj. Saturn's in Cap, so strong. Reserved people may trigger that quincunx in you, making you feel too heavy. You may feel, on the inside, like it's heavy Saturn realism or Leo fun and excitement. The more Saturnine (reserved) someone is, the more your own Leo Venus feels Saturn's onslaught. Reserved energy kills your Venus's pleasure and your Moon's comfort.

I can't remember what mine is like...I think it might be Taurus? Must contribute to my fondness for Earth signs, along with my Cap Venus & Taurus Dsc.

Some people say, "I can't stand Pit Bulls," and surely some would agree and disagree, yet we know that not all pit bulls are bad and dangerous, but we still have understanding towards the person who was traumatized in some way by a Pit Bull.

Same thing with a certain sign. Why can't we feel compassion for a person who maybe had three Capricorn boyfriends in a row, who were all cold and unfeeling? After all, it's her perception, not ours, and the person is just sharing and seeking to find if there are others that feel the same way.

I don't see much difference in saying, "I don't like Scorpios," to saying.. "I don't like people with Venus square Uranus."

Just because there are more of the first one than the second, doesn't mean it's still not a generalization.

It's only natural to want to defend ourselves and our loved ones.
But, we have to keep in mind that none of us are friends, in the real usage of the word, or loved ones of RunAroundScreaming, so we shouldn't take it that personally.

She should be allowed to have her own astrological journey her own way, IMHO.
