So there is no Cazimi, it would have saved my mercury and venus. Do you have combust planets Jess?

combust planets can go by different names:asta or moudya, astangata and dagdha.

Asta/Moudya means the planet becomes a bit foolish, that will become better with age. Like an awkward teenager growing into a gorgeous woman.

Astangata/Dagdha: It means the planet is burnt up, like the qualities of that particular planet are veiled or literally taken up by the sun. Don't forget the sun is the ego.

EDIT: I thought you were asking about moudya lol. I kinda like my moudya saturn lol

This is what google found me:

quote:
Planets as they are.
There are two luminaries-Sun and Moon.

Five Tara Graha- Mars, Mercury , Jupiter, Venus and Saturn

Two Chhaya graha- Rahu and Ketu

1. If any tara graha is near Sun , the planet is called in combution

2.If any tara graha is near Moon , it is called in Samagama

3. If any planer is near nodes , it is called in affliction

4. If moon is near Sun , it causes Amvasya

5. If Moon or Sun are near nodes , it create eclipse like situation

6. If tara graha are within one degree of each other , this phenomenon is called Inter planetary war.

Is this what you know to be correct Jess?

hmm that is a bit more tricky..

I think more the karakas are together, it should give you more incentive to work out your issues, what house are they in?

Yes...although if saturn is near rahu and ketu it can o both ways...depending on the nakshatras and house number. Saturn in any dusthana houses are considered good for me.

it means the planet that accompanies the moon becomes more pleasing, the beneficial side of this planet is enhanced. Imagine Jupiter with the moon.

Based on what he said, the sun can be the highest degree. In my chart, my sun has the highest degree, followed by mars. So the sun is both my Atmakaraka and Chara Atmakaraka?

Absolutely, Lunae!

Mine is Rahu and Mars.

It's cool because first you see where your chara atmakarka is. Mine is in Aquarius 12th House for Vedic.

I then watched his video on both Rahu in Aquarius and Rahu in the 12th House. It's completely descriptive of what I do!

I then looked at Mars because it's supposed to be the car that gets my Charatmakaraka to it's destination, Mars is my Amatyakaraka. Mars is in Capricorn in the 11th House. So I watched those two vids and then made a brief description of all of those placements. It's uncannily accurate!

Ah Vedic, you beautiful thing! haha
