Hmm, in another video he sais, that during a Dasa-period - in my Case saturn- you check where Saturn is placed in the chart, in which nakshatra and what the ruler of this nakshatra is, which in my case is Jupiter (interestingly Jupiter is also trine Saturn). Not sure what that means or if that means anything at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWsP6i9S3TE

So actually I am not just getting Saturn in the Saturn period, but also Jupiter, Mars and Rahu I suppose. Jupiter aspects Saturn Mars aspects Jupiter and Saturn, but of course that Mars is manglik, in Scorpio in Lagna, so I donīt suppose that is good either.

No he is not ruling the 7th house (he rules the 3rd house like in Rasi). He is placed in the 7th house. The 7th house ruler is Venus in Cancer in 9th house. Jupiter is in Pisces in 5th house, ruling it as well, and therefore trine Venus. This is all in Navamsa. i find this Jupiter-Venus-trine interesting, as it doesnīt happen in Rasi, so there is a change there. I think SAturn in Taurus in 7th aspects Venus in Cancer in 9th as a 3rd house aspect, is that right?

Does the difference between longitudes of Western placements and Vedic placements always remain 23 degrees or do they change sometime?IP: Logged |

they do change, but marginally. Also there are different sidereal zodiacs, depending on the reference frame.IP: Logged |

Jesscia,What does Saturn Dasa mean for me? Sounds morbid, but my dreams about death have started recurring early this year. Every September, I get dreams of death (thanks to 9/11) and this year, the dreams have started earlier than usual. IP: Logged |

@ceri7th house venus in cancer in which nakshatra and which lord is pertinent. If it's ruled by Saturn.

@Jessica,this is so interesting. Finally something new to learn and discover. (even if it probably is just that I will neer be lucky in love ) So letīs see my lovely, or not so lovely, Venus is on 23 Cancer in Navamsa (I even these words, the language).
is in ASHLESHA Nakshatra, lord is Mercury. (the description sounds less than flattering though. ) (Just saw that my Moon in Navamsa is in Leo, in the MAGHA Nakshatra in 10th house - I have no idea what that means, but it looks significant somehow. lol)

@Ceri,The navamsa is super duper important, like I said it offsets major afflictions in the rasi chart that is if the afflicted planet is elevated/strong in the navamsa. Therefore, you definitely would want to have a mafia boss who is showering you with his love and blessings than to have the protection of a gang leader Life may be full of strife but NO ONE will be able to touch you or throw you down. Moon in the 10th again belongs to Saturn, natural 10th house ruler, and I believe you have a cappy moon in the rasi chart? Venus in 7th house, Saturn in Taurus, ruler is Venus,so yes I WOULD say your marriage significator is Saturn and yes you could well get into something more permanent, more concrete, more reliable during the Saturn dasa IP: Logged |

Jessica,"he navamsa is super duper important, like I said it offsets major afflictions in the rasi chart that is if the afflicted planet is elevated/strong in the navamsa." So since my Sun is in Sagittarius in Rasi, but is in Aries in Navamsa, this would strengthen it? "Therefore, you definitely would want to have a mafia boss who is showering you with his love and blessings than to have the protection of a gang leader " So you compare the Rasi to the gangleader (with limited influence), and the Navamsa to the Mafia-boss?
"Moon in the 10th again belongs to Saturn, natural 10th house ruler, and I believe you have a cappy moon in the rasi chart?" Yes, that`s true. "Venus in 7th house, Saturn in Taurus, ruler is Venus,so yes I WOULD say your marriage significator is Saturn and yes you could well get into something more permanent, more concrete, more reliable during the Saturn dasa "
That sounds at least as if I am not doomed after all. Right now I am in my Jupiter Dasa in the Sub Dasa of Rahu.
Rasi Jupiter is in Shatabisha, lord is Rahu Navamsa Jupiter is in Uttara Bhadrapada, lord Saturn (lol) As for Rahu in Rasi: Anurada (though just about one minute!), lord Saturn The Sub Dasha before was of Mars, which also falls in the Anurada Nakshara, and is ruled by Saturn.
It`s been in the Subdasha of Mars from summer 2012, before that the Subdasha was Moon, of course also related to Saturn through being in Capricorn, however my Moon`s Lord is Mars. And the Subdashas before that were ruled by Ketu. And it is true, that thought about relationships in a very earthly way, suddenly really came through from last year on for some weird reason. I could LITERALLY feel the shift between July and August last year! Like something you can touch almost. maybe the fact that Saturn pops up frequently in these listings has something to do with that. Bumpy bump.Is anyone here familiar with the "GHATAKA chakra" or GHATAKA dosha? When you think you have it all you run into the most doomed match-table ever seen, http://www.scribd.com/doc/154758999/Ghataka-Abridged. The tables are more clear seen here; http://varahamihira.blogspot.nl/2004/10/ghataka-chakra.html

What I don't get about Vedic is how in Western astrology my Mars is in Taurus in the 8th---and in Vedic it is in Aries in the 9th---those are 2 pretty different placements--I don't get how you reconcile the 2---IP: Logged |
