That vedic astrologer KRSchannel on youtube says that it's bad for marriage if the two people have the same ascendant sign because they'll go through the same situations in life at the same time. When one is down, the other will be down soon, etc. Whereas the author of the website you linked says he/she thinks it's good.

Maybe this is a foggy area for vedic astrologers just like western astrologers?

It`s soo true. I was starting my job thinking that it would be a bit of a routine, but I was wrongly thinking, and it turned out to be so unpredictable and I have to be flexible.
But within the unpredictability (cause I am working with people. lol), it seems that it is me who provides a certain form of stability to most.

Sun, Mercury and Venus sitting in Sagittarius in 2nd house, so they are in 7th aspect to Saturn (no orbs, right?).

On the other hand the ruler of the 2nd and 5th house, Jupiter, sits in Aquarius in 4th house and is in 5th aspect (trine) to Saturn, which is considered good, I think.

Sun is the 10th house lord, MErcury the 8th and 11th house lord and Venus the 7th and 12th house lord.

I just watched that video and I find it to be very true for me too. I have Saturn retrograde and I reflect and stress and my mind is constantly turning ideas over and over again. At the same time, I don't realize how much work I am doing toward something and it's almost like I pop out of the ground on top of everything I want. Like wanting to achieve something and feeling like I'm never getting there until BAM I'm there and I look back and say "Wow, I was giving it my all."

Even knowing this, my next project will plunge me back into the same cycle. Too much reflection, I agree Ceri!

I'm wondering how you interpret your combust Mercury, it's sitting in your vedic 2nd House of Sag, the Sun ruling your 10th House but Mercury ruling the sign your Saturn sits in, is the beneficial or no? Saturn is the natural ruler of the 10th and it's in the 8th.

The 8th House can give you a brilliant mind predisposed to the occult if Saturn is strong there in Gemini. Being opposite the 2nd with your Sun conjunct Mercury, I'm wondering the effect. Does this hinder or help your career? I think you know my thoughts on combustion in western astrology but I'm wondering if Jyotish will give me a different view on it.

I'm thinking that it's beneficial because I think everyone can agree that you have a brilliant mind. Also, the 8th House relates to astrology and other esoteric teachings. It can't be a coincidence that your Saturn is ruled by your combust Mercury.

Saturn is ruling that 3rd House for you too which is the house of your ambitions. Your ambitions would naturally gravitate toward 8th House matters then?

Actually, Virgo and Gemini are the only signs I haven't been attracted to so far I have been attracted to a rabbit (1987) before but he was a med student haha. I haven't had much encounters with lawyers, unfortunately.
