It is a prediction tool. There is a distinction between predictive Vedic astrology and elemental vedic. I used the table to predict events but I chose to do it for those that happened in the past. I think someone said it's like the pullen of western, it's not that at all, I was so bummed when I read that post because if everyone was thinking it's the pullen of western that it would mean that nobody understood my ashtakavarga thread! Ms Prism,did you see this on marriage timer? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-nhvYkw8Z8 Venus and Jupiter are the general significators of marriage. But for the timin we should look at transits of the lords of 2nd, 7th and 11th house through 2nd, 7th and 11th house.
So for me:
lord of 2nd house: Jupiter
lord of 7th house: Venus
lord of 11th house: Mercury
So I have to check for a time when these three planets transit to these houses.
Well, on 27th august 2016, there will be a conjunction of Transiting Mercury, Venus and Jupiter on 2-4 Virgo (sidereal) and this will fall into my 11th house.
That should fit the criteria I think.
However, I donīt think the das(h)a will fit.

Nope I will be in Saturn-Dasha, which can`t be good. I better get used to it though, as I will be 60 by the time it ends!
Saturn is also right on the 7th house cusp in Navamsa (and Ketu is also in 7th house, but at the nd of it), so I guess no marriage for me.
