1. astro.com2. options 3. zodiac Here you can choose between different zodiacs, tropical - heliocentric - draconic- sidereal. There are two sidereals (Fagan and Hindu-Lahiri); I pick the Lahiri-one. Oh you want to pick the geocentric one (with earth as reference-point; heliocentric would project everything as seen from Sun, which isn`t what Vedic astrology does) IP: Logged |

Lulz,is that your Dara-whatever? Gemini? Have you found it to be true? Was there sexual attraction to planets in sidereal Gemini? (I suppose Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars and probably the Lagna would be paramount here).

LOL Depends though. Cancer in the late degrees, around 23-29 Cancer, will stay Cancer in the sidereal system. Cancers from 00-21 degree will become Geminis (and Gemini stays Gemini at late degrees: 23-29). IP: Logged |

H7 in Aquarius, Saturn in Aquarius. So do I do the 10 signs thing? 'Cause if so, Scorpio I mean. EDIT! I can't even count. But I don't think so. I haven't found myself attracted to Western late Scorpio/most Sagittarius. :eyeroll: IP: Logged |

^Lmfao!!!! Well I was just going off of this:if the Arudha Lagna is the same or opposite the Lagna, then you take the 10th sign from Lagna. @barracuda; do I seem like a Sagittarius? My Arudha Lagna is Sagittarius... IP: Logged |

Ah come on, you DO know, that you can`t simply transfer the Western astroogical meaning to the Vedic one,r ight?Well, sometimes it works, but more often the Vedic meaning is a tad different (or WIDELY different from the western symbolism). My Vedic chart has a whole lot of planets in 2nd house, whcih makes a lot of sense in Vedic Terms, not necessarily in Western though. Because the 2nd house in Vedic has some different meanings.

7. Additonal techniques: a) Arudha Lagna - look where oyur Lagna or ASC is located. Then see, where its lord is. Count from the ASC-sign to its lord. Then count the same number forwards from lord. The sign, which you arrive at, is your ARudha Lagna. Ex: Lagna is in Libra; Venus is in Aquarius: Libra - Aquarius: 5 signs Aquarius + 5 signs: Gemini So the ARudha Lagna would be in Gemini Exception: if the Arudha Lagna is the same or opposite the Lagna, then you take the 10th sign from Lagna. Like in my chart: Lagna in Scorpio; Mars in Scorpio - so technically the Arudha Lagna would be the same as the Lagna, in this case I would have to pic the 10th sign from Lagna, which is Leo, so my Arudha Lagna is Leo. "...reveals how others perceive the native's personality. It shows how the person projects their illusion or glamour into the world."
My answer was already there

My Arudha Lagna is Leo. Pretty sure none would see me as a Leo, using Western astrology.(of course they are a little blind to not see it, ) IP: Logged |

Mine is in Sagittarius, Anonymi made it easy for me to figure out. He used the same ascendant and the sign opposite my natal Venus so I just had to go opposite Gemini to know mine. Sagittarius shows up a lot in these subtle ways in my chart so I do tend to agree with me appearing Sag-like to a certain extent. My family referred to me as The Optimist. IP: Logged |
