I AM serious. Check out Shaun King on twitter. And I personally am still frightened, and angry that this country has gone back to the dark ages. I know people who moved here from countries with tyrannical governments, for a better life, and now they feel they're in for more of the same.

I agree, teasel.

Unfortunately, people often don't see the trouble and turmoil unless it's happening to them. This election (and president elect) is a fine example of that.

I'm in the uk so this is an outside perspective. But countries across Europe have shifted to the right too and from observing events here..

The good news is those in power don't care about race, sexuality or gender. It's about money. Those issues only matter to them as far as steering the blame and anger, setting up or feeding into a reason for poverty or dissatisfaction. The answer to that will very likely consolidate wealth further in a few hands. I've seen it here - the dismantling of financial structures is localised around areas that they can benefit from, e.g in the uks case, the health service. So any perceived targeting isn't actually the case - it's the steady pulling the table cloth from under the tableware I.e. the general population without knocking it over.only, if somethings knocked over, it will crash into something else and then the narrative of division comes into play. There'll be overt gestures towards building jobs but my bet is it will be very much to the benefit of smaller groups of wealthy people. I don't know what the heck the already wealthy are preparing for - maybe they were shaken by the financial crisis and are shoring up against that or, honestly this us a stab but I think in my country there's an envy of the Russian oligarchy. The underhand tactics bear that out. That's who those in power socialise with, that's who they look to and wonder how they're doing so well. Don't think even at that top that competition doesn't happen.

And, no I don't see this as some intricate conspiracy - I just think they instinctively are firming up their resources in less certain times. Though it interests what LeeLoo refers to as others behind the scenes. This is my thought too, based on watching Nigel farage here - who has the guise of being for the common people, rode racism similarly to trump but is bank rolled by a small party of the wealthy.

anyway, the good news is the issues of race, gender, sexuality are not the main target, it's a distraction. The bad news is everyone is. Or in so much as everyone is connected to financial structures. But it's a less perceptible shift.

In my opinion

Listens to the most??? I think is too early to know that at this point but he gives me the impression he listens to many different people bf making big decisions.

But Hillary is definitely a war criminal.

I am not finding that Rudy Guliani is part of his staff anywhere actually but he did help with his campaign and stood up for him.

I thought I would read the replies to this thread and then post my opinion but then thought better of it. The opposite is obviously the way to go.

The results of this election sent the message loud and clear:
A woman that is qualified for the position of the President (understatement), has years of experience in the political field and has worked her entire life for this moment, can and will lose the position to a sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, hateful sex offender who is utterly unqualified (the least bad thing about him) and who appeals to the lowest common denominator because the USA is infested with these "values" and hates women to the core. A tragic moment in American history. And the world in general.

BREAKING – Guess Who Paid For the Anti-Trump Riots In New York?

Riots have broken out across the country as people are protesting Donald Trump winning the presidential election fair and square. Since his victory, hate has been spread all over the country by the so called “love spreading” liberals.

Now, on Craigslist, they are trying to rent people to show up and protest Donald Trump. And guess who is organizing it? George Soros, Hillary Clinton’s major donor and supporter, as per Breitbart.com.

This call for rioters was organized by MoveOn.org, which is gathering in “peaceful” protest of the so-called bigotry many Americans believe Trump has.

It`s very disturbing for the campaign that claimed drain the swamp and let us "outsiders in"

Trumps considerations for his staff include Newt Gingrich, Chris Christy, Rudy Guliani and Reince Priebus to name a few.

Over the many years, where have you heard those names before???

You never saw the Republicans riot when that idiot Obama won. You liberals need to stop being whiney babies and accept that you lost. Your way almost destroyed this country. Liberalism didn't work. That's why the electoral map is almost entirely red. And yes, those inciting the violence are being paid to do so. Conservatism, morals, and values are going to fix this country with Trump at the helm and despite all your moaning and crying. This was a peaceful revolt. It's called voting.

I saw a white trump supporter get beat up by 5 black men, but I sure didn't see it on the news. Saw the video on FB. The media would rather focus on the so called "peaceful" protests.

Coming from a biracial 1/2 ARAB woman, the reaction and outcry to Trump's win is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

There should have been an outcry when Hillary was first nominated. The American people should have been this upset when Wikileaks proved Hillary rigged the election to take Bernie out.

You've been insulting Liberals all along - for years.

I thought the big thing with Trump supporters, was that he wasn't PC, that he said what he thinks, and doesn't care who it hurts. That isn't going high, he's been consistently low.

I've done my best to not be offensive over the years. We all have our moments, but this man takes the cake.

I've been hoping that he won't be as bad as he's promised he will be. That we will all be able to take a collective deep breath, when he starts to act in a more mature manner, and calls off these supporters of his who are hurting people all over the country. I have friends who see him as more Democrat, than Republican, and don't think that he'll repeal certain things...

but he hasn't told these people to stop. He hasn't done anything of the sort. He only took to twitter to complain about the protesters, who are using the first amendment rights they were born with.

There are very real reasons that people have been so scared, and angry. What would help would be if they weren't dismissed as crybabies - how are you supposed to unify, if you can't see their concerns - our concerns - and you continue to belittle us? You're just as bad, even if you aren't telling people to leave the country, chasing them around with guns. There are people all over the country, who are now afraid for their livelihood, and their *lives*, and all you've done is gloat, scoff, and insult. And you wonder why I, and others, are so angry?

Hope you don't mind if I comment. I don't want to come across as argumentative, but I do want to provide you with a real answer to your question from another point of view.

It's hypocrisy.

The same argument could be taken from the other side. Scared and angry for our country when people have lost their jobs, upset about forced health insurance that they can't afford. Have you seen Detroit lately? It's still a ghost city.

Many republicans were upset when Obama was re-elected. I don't know how many times I heard, "This country is going down the drain."

But there was no outcry. There was no rage. No hate. Only acceptance.

This anti-trump movement is doing the exact same thing hillary supporters said they were trying to prevent--bullying. You don't get your way from throwing a tantrum. Sure you can be upset. You can try to make a change. Try to figure out why voters swung right, and find some middle ground in order to fix the country but that's not what's happening.

I think what most people are forgetting about is that if you want to see real change, it starts at the local level. Every 4 years many people think that they are going to change the world by voting for one person-forgetting the elections in between. The president can only do so much. And Trump wants to give more power to the states, which is how it absolutely should be. Why aren't celebrities talking about this? Why aren't people on facebook talking about this with their family and friends? Why is not knowing who your local & state officials are, not important?

Dunno who you're talking to but nobody is saying that liberalism works. We're saying that Trump sucks and I'm saying that this entire system is obviously not working.
Republicans didn't riot when Obama won again, because Obama wasn't a raging idiot who (openly) threatened and insulted people.. duh.
You're subscribing to an outdated system and taking one of two idiotic sides. Liberals vs. conservatives, republicans vs. democrats, etc., just keeps you complacent and distracted. The real issue is that at least HALF the country hates their new leader. It's not about your side winning, it's a bigger issue of widespread unrest. Obviously our daily lives are not affected enough to cause the violent revolution that I was talking about, but arguing 'your side' like a parrot is not constructive. You're just feeding this cycle of nonsense.. Though I guess you see nothing wrong since your side "won" --- it won 4 years of decisions being made that cannot possibly be good for everyone living here, because HALF the country disagrees entirely with our leader. That's a problem.
