Well, what I would like to know, and I am asking this respectfully to the old members that are still here... is what EXACTLY needs to happen in order for Randall's requirements (to keep sweetpeas) and YOUR requirements to be met?Is there a way to open discussion on this, without name-calling and slander, so that we can take an honest look at what is going on now, and for the future? HOnestly?If things hadn't been deleted, and people could have seen for themselves what went on, like everyother time things like this went on, there would have been a lot less unhappiness, and uncertainty. It would have all blown over alot sooner than it has, and unhappiness wouldn't have kept burbling to the surface and causing more eruptions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There were some really bad words thrown out.
The threads were deleted cuz of the pain of these words, as I understand it.
If someone called me a ***** or a **** , I would want to delete the threads cuz they would hurt, badly, especially if I tried to live an honorable life
That was the vantage point of the deleting,as I understand it.PS I did not know those words were so bad .

I could care less if Sweet Peas remains or not. Not my cup `o tea but it is others and it will keep adult content in one pew. So thats not an issue here. One thread that was argued was one that ****** posted in sweetpeas that it was a 2-bit sleazy pickup joint. Originally, she stated that she was disgusted with Randall for hitting on NickiG, but then that statement was edited out (she in fact, called him a predator).HONESTLY, from my point, having a good intuition, knew that ****** had a bone to chew with Randall, and instead of being a good moderator and being serious, I made a joke about him being a pervert. I said he was "at home" in Sweet Peas... because he was a perv... Granted, hindsight, I realize this was not how she wanted me to respond to her. But, I was really tired, impatient, and overly-sensitive to what Randall was "maybe" feeling at being called a nasty name... and I was also defensive. After that, things went downhill... way downhill. ****** chiped up, and repeated that Randall was perverted, etc... too. What I WOULD LIKE TO COMMUNICATE, and what I would hope you guys who are reading would understand, is that NickiG is a 21 year old woman - who actually made the 1st moves on Randall in flirtation. I was actually the culprit - but it was all a JOKE. After that, they just flirted, because they COULD. It was like they were getting the opportunity to "stretch out" in sweet peas. Randall and NickiG have seperate lives. They're not making plans, as far as I know. So, what is bad about flirtation? He was not taking advantage of her. IP: Logged |

Personally I have no problem with Nicky and Randall dating, I am glad he has found someone, because I sense he was looking for a long time now.
No problem.The turn off was, going to a thread titled.. "how to attract a taurus" or whatever, and finding 3 pages of just nicki and randall flirting. It puts people off.
They may want to respond to the initial topic, but feel intrusive.
And, you have to admit, MANY threads were like this.
I think if it was contained down to one thread, or maybe done via email, others would not have been so put off.
It's not a jealousy issue.
