who said anything about hard news?and who in their right mind would equate sarah palin with winston churchill, who by the way, was from one of the most autocratic, aristocratic, privileged families in britain? will she also switch parties when convenient like winston just to keep his "rightful" place in the ruling body of england? whatever else he was, churchill was privileged by POSITION. that he grew into that privilege was to his credit. but his son who never made it as a politican had the same attitude that the world owed him attention and deference. Had it not been for Winston Churchill katatonic, you would have learned the Goosestep at a very early age.There's no denying Sarah Palin has star power qualities. As it was said, people listen to her...some foam at the mouth and their heads explode, others see the good sense common touch she has with audiences. Now who else in America has had so much ink over the last 15 months. 15 months ago few people knew Palin existed. Leftists and elitists are scared spit-less of Sarah Palin. She served amply notice on them when she nuked them too in her speeches...by dismissing them. At least leftists and other elitists have a few remaining brain cells which gives them the good sense to be scared of Palin. "Here's a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion -- I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this country." If McCain had listened to Palin...instead of having his handlers attempt to manage her, McCain would be President today. He sealed his fate by not letting Palin be Palin. Palin, who drew bigger and more enthusiastic audiences than McCain. McCain also made a terrible mistake by taking campaign time off to run to Washington to usher in TARP. Many Conservatives who were going to hold their noses and vote for him or vote for Palin wanted to throw up. Many stayed home on election day.

Memo to all delusional Kool-Aid drinking twits.Sarah Palin has more than 1000 requests to speak at various functions; some at more than $100,000 per pop. So, again some here show they are clueless as to what's going on. In spite of leftist press outlets attempting to destroy Palin and her family, she's still here, more popular than ever. What the leftist twits in the Press and elsewhere don't understand is that middle America doesn't trust a word they say. They spent all that ink attempting to bring Palin down but it's the press who isn't trusted and their bottom lines show it. I know why elitists and wanna be elitists don't like Sarah Palin. She's everything they are not and never will or could be. She's a hell of a lot more intelligent than her enemies. She's a real person who connects with America and there's nothing fake about Sarah Palin. That cannot be said about anyone in the O'Bomber administration, can't be said about the viperous leftist press and it can't be said about the far radical left in general. Further, Sarah Palin doesn't look like a dried up prune who has just been dragged through a knothole.  She's like the girl next door...if the girl next door is beautiful, unassuming, personable and highly intelligent. Jealousy is such a nasty personal attribute...don't you think?

i still think he's her campaign manager. and the "hot" part doesn't hurt i'm sure. we sure wouldn't want a woman who knows something, but isn't beautiful, running the country. what a tragedy. don't care for hilary myself but not because she's packed on a few pounds with the years!!it was perfectly okay with you when a 72 year old man with permanent disfigurements was running - but if he were a woman she would be a "dried up old prune?" While you're hosing down your jealousy, you might want to consider how Palin kicked the a$$es of powerful political pols..both demoscats and Republicans, powerful interest groups in Alaska and beat the hell out of oil company executives until she got the deal for Alaskans they deserved.Oh, another thing. Some of those powerful elected officials and some members of the Oil Commission were sent to prison for taking bribes which she uncovered. i think you should move to alaska, jwhop. they are also working on secession and then you could be queen sarah's press manager. i'm sure with all the oil she will dig up (sometime in the next 10 years or so when everything is ready) she can find a way to keep you warm...and as for winston churchill, i never said he was not a great man. i said he GREW INTO his position as a BORN ruler. however he had to do a 180 to get into the position that made him the hero we remember. he was a failure at school and in his early attempts to make anything of himself. as a young man he was a "liberal" and when he got KICKED OUT of his party, he nursed his wounds for awhile and came back a "conservative". i know a good deal more about him than you do i wager. and i doubt very much that winston or not we would have been invaded by the germans before they imploded. evil always is destroyed from within first, and by those who rise up against it afterwards. and in those days transport was a lot less advanced. do you really think they could have taken over the US? just in case you are under the illusion that i was even born at that time, i was NOT born in england. and hitler or not, i don't think the english would have ever goosetepped much. we hear all this rubbish about obama and his "cult of personality" and how he says HE is the change, when in fact he says (YOU)"BE the change"...while palin says I WILL FORCE THE CHANGE...which one is the dictator? the spotlight hogger? i will never completely trust a politician until they have PROVEN they are trustworthy. so far obama hasn't really done that, but like i said in the other thread, it's still too early to tell... whereas palin appears to be frozen in cheerleader mode/mentality, and the home-grown hayseed act leaves me completely cold. she believes wolves are fair sporting game and that because she can see russia she is a born diplomat?
