When someone is completely rude and disrespectful to you, and they expect you not to tell anyone!?

Once you get to a certain age, you think it would be common sense "if I don't want anyone to know I treat people like this, maybe I shouldn't treat them this way"

No one is going to act perfect or be a saint all the time. But some people are so crazy that they are basically like "don't you dare tell people I treat you like crap." Then don't treat me crap!!

Like if I don't act right and it gets around...own up, apologize, and probably be embarrassed, if close with the person...maybe joke and laugh off how crazy I was acting the other day.

These are the kinds of people I've had to encounter on the job.

One girl is a little older than me, tried to boss me and be in my business, did not respect my boundaries. She cannot fathom why I don't invite her out!?

This other person is a senior, and tries to intimidate me all the time. Told me to stop telling co-workers about it. THEN DON'T GIVE ME ANYTHING TO TALK ABOUT!

These mean people think they are above consequences. No!

Feeling annoyed because everything is going great in my life, I have met new people, am in a better place mentally, focused, doing financially well...Yet there is one thing that bothers me or makes me feel sad sometimes. I haven't 100% moved on from someone, its been a year already and it was an 'almost relationship' that ended through text out of the blue for no reason.

I want to move on already, I want to be at peace with myself but there is still this anger and this hurt because I'll never know why this person ended it. It's just a lot of questions that will forever be unanswered....plus this definitely triggered my abandonment issues. Being dropped out of the blue when everything was going well...

I am sort of frustrated because I have met someone in the present that I like very much but my heart often lingers to the one from my past. And I know that I should be grateful for my present circumstances, but these emotions they sometimes hit me out of nowhere.

end rant, I usually dont like talking about personal lovey dovey stuff but im really frustrated at how long this moving on thing is starting to take

SV, are you okay?

I don't respond much anymore, because it isn't my thread anymore, and it's usually pretty quiet.

My vent: I am not all, "peace, love, and pumpkin-spiced lattes" when it comes to abusive men. I never will be.

And this is really fitting for that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92i5m3tV5XY&feature=youtu.be - a link left in another thread, for me. If only I could get to a beach.

I've been having some scary health issues. I thought about posting it here, but I changed my mind and deleted the post. Not ready to acknowledge it, or have other people acknowledge how scary it is.

I keep going dizzy. I woke up feeling okay, except for the room starting to spin. Then I got upset over mum again, a little while ago, and I'm wishing I'd gone out with dad again. I can't leave my dog, though. He's barely walking.

I dreamed of mum. She was sick, in it, but cheerful. I don't think I'm ever going to get used to her not being here.

So I called one of my doctor's offices as soon as I got off work. The receptionist was pretty awful, TBH: she was rude, and even though the issue I need to see the doctor for is emergent, she told me that I was not a priority and that I would need to wait 2-3 months before I could see my doctor. I asked her to check with my doctor first and see if she would be willing to fit me in before then. Even though she said she would, I have a feeling that she lied about that. I really felt like saying, "What if our roles were reversed? What if you were dealing with something serious, feeling vulnerable and just wanted to see a doctor you trusted ASAP? How would you like it if I talked to you this way?" I didn't, though. I'm a bit of a pushover in that regard. I will admit that I cried after I hung up.

I'm calling my other doctor in the morning. It's not her area of expertise, but I know she will fit me in anyway and refer me to a specialist who can treat it, if needed.

No quoting, please.

They probably think that since they're higher up than you that no one will care, even if you do tell people.

I've definitely been on both sides of the play. The bully and the bullied. Personally, I've got my karma, hard, for my actions. Ouch! But I deserved it, though.

I've stopped being mean, though. And I try to get along with everyone, but some people like power.

Have you at least tried to talk to HR about all these things?

I had a CT scan for the health problem (which was an actual mass on my stomach that I noticed a couple of weeks ago). The tech asked me after the CT if I had ever had cancer. After I got the results, I understood why he asked that question... Turns out that there's plenty of reasons on my scan to continue looking for cancer. Also, one kidney is basically barely functioning (which is a testament to my other kidney, since I haven't had any issues other than some low back pain and fatigue). I have an Awesome Kidney and a Not So Awesome Kidney.

So there you have it. Looks like this year is going to be a beast.

No quoting, please.
