Forget watching reality shows for drama, the real entertainment is in the Personal Readings section of this forum. Shots fired. Somebody had to say it.

I have an appointment with a kidney specialist in 2 weeks. I just want this mystery to be solved, already.

It's not going to ruin my holidays, though. I won't let it. If there's something seriously wrong, then worrying about it won't change anything.

Yahoo really is a porn site. My latest search was "penny swords gif" (no quotes) and I was still getting more porn than what I was actually after. How is that search term worthy of the porn?

It's not the first time I did an image search that surprised me by showing me a woman's butthole. And one time my search got me nothing, and said I'd have to turn off Safe Search if I wanted anything. I figured it was just really extreme in what it blocked and figured even if porn was one of the options then I woulnd't care as long as they showed me the gif I was after. But after I switched it off, everything was porn, not what I was looking for at all (I then switch to Google Image search and, with the safe search off, it gives me no porn and shows me exactly what I was looking for). I really dislike that Firefox has foisted Yahoo upon me. If it wasn't for all the bookmarks, I'd probably get rid of Firefox (not just for this reason), though there was a time years ago I loved Firefox.

On the plus side, I played with the options and got Google back over Yahoo. But Firefox keeps trying to get me to go Yahoo and somehow tricked me into accepting it (which I just now fixed).

I just did a quick experiment. I went back to Yahoo and typed in my name before doing an image search. And sure enough, I get a lot more porn.

One thing that annoys me when I look on Indeed.com an employer will posts “ genourous time off.” But then they won’t reveal how much time off. It makes me feel like “yeah right.” It’s so genourous, we can’t tell you. 🙄

The appointment with the kidney specialist was today. I learned a few new things, but I mostly walked away with more questions than answers. The dreaded "C" word was mentioned again, even though the doctor said it was "very unlikely" they also "couldn't rule it out just yet."

Does anybody here know medical astrology? It would be nice to know what exactly is going on with my chart. I know I'm in the middle of some heavy Pluto and Saturn transits, but this is the first time I've ever had any problem with my kidney or felt this badly before. I feel like giving up all together. It seems like every corner I turn, there's another maze with more questions.

No, but Google CBD oil. It’s cured people of cancer among many other ailments. You want something with basically 0% THC and high in CBD. The THC is what ‘gets people high’ from pot. CBD is the medicinal part of the plant and you don’t get any of the “high” effects. Only the medicinal benefits. Apparently since the beginning of time, all mammals were born with inbred Cannabinoid receptors in their cells and all have Endocannabanoid Systems. They help regulate and balance everything in our other systems out when taken properly and can even everything out (google CBD Entourage Effect)

& I’m not one of those pot fanatics who thinks Weed is the be all and end all and “Plant of the gods” and will cure everything and all that crap. I’ve never actually liked pot very much when i’ve Smoked it, but after looking into CBD more, I’m hopeful that it will help myself and loved one in a way prescription drugs could not (in CBD liquid tincture form). The THC - part that gets people high is taken out. The benefits of CBD are most intruiging to me...

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't need a cure for cancer yet, considering I don't know yet for certain if that's what I have. I just wanted to vent somewhere.

Cannabinoid anything (even without THC) is not a option for me, for several reasons. Thank you for the information, though.

I think Eileen Nauman did medical astrology, but I can't remember. She's on Facebook as Lindsay McKenna. She is a writer, and trained in homeopathy. Http://www.medicinegarden.com.

I downloaded a "positive mindset" affirmation MP3 with Christmas music, but I'm afraid that I've wasted my dad's money. i will see how it goes.

I've thought about this, although at first it was for my dog. A woman who hypnotized me six years ago, recommended it when I posted about my dog in August, on Facebook.

Some people say it helps their gastroparesis (stomach condition), or cyclic vomiting, but others say it didn't help.

I need to try to sleep. I was sleeping at 10pm or before, for a couple of weeks. The last few nights, it's been much later.

Thank you.

CBD was popularized a few years ago by Dr. Sanjay Gupta in a CNN documentary. A little girl named Charlotte was suffering from 300 seizures per week. Pharma meds didnt work and they almost put her on hardcore prescription drugs given to dogs (besides the ones she was on) because docs didn’t know what else to do. I’ll let you deduce the rest if interested.

Like Charlotte;s parents did....you get to a point where you’ll try anything.

Homeopathy has worked to some extent for us too. Over time, I’ve found it’s not a cure-all though. Maybe nothing is.

I have to say some of the homeopathic remedies have been lifesavers, but over time, not “cure alls” unfortunately and the healing effects from them have not stayed strong or steady.

Thanks for sharing.

Btw teasel (& others)

If you haven’t heard about or tuned into this show, you might want to.

TLC, Mon nights

The Healer

I think you can still watch the first episode for free on TLC’s website: https://www.tlc.com/tv-shows/the-healer/

I’m about to watch the latest episode and then hit the hay.

I wish my mum was here, I need to talk to her. But if she was here, at least two different things would no longer be an issue. I'd just enjoy her company, if I could stop crying from shock.
