Nice chart Wednesday

Your chart ruler Neptune is prominately placed at the top of your chart conjunct the MC
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrological-aspects/neptune-conjunct-midheaven-mc.php

Astrology aspects - Neptune conjunct Midheaven / Neptune conjunct MCThis aspect presents many opportunities and many challenges. You are very sensitive to whatever happens around you, and you seem to soak up impressions like a sponge. But you do not always know what these impressions mean or what to do with them. Consequently there is a real danger that you will be confused much of the time, especially about who you are and where you are going. Unfortunately, with this aspect you tend to get discouraged and depressed about yourself, feeling that you will never get a real grasp of what is happening in your life. One of your parents, at least, should be able to lovingly but firmly guide you through life and point out the difference between realities and illusions.

This position is often associated with psychic ability, which may be the source of the impressions that seem so confusing and hard to understand. Your parents should accept the fact that your so-called fantasies are actually based on a reality that is not easy to understand. They should help you learn to interpret this reality rather than saying that you are only dreaming or making it all up.

It won't be easy to find the right course to follow in life, but this position provides a few clues. First of all, you should feel that you are working for a cause higher than yourself, whether it is serving or taking care of others in some way or working for an idea or faith. This aspect has a very strongly religious dimension. But it is more mystical than orthodox, and even while you are young you will be attracted to mystical and otherworldly ideals.

Wow, I just noticed that Neptune is placed at the top of the chart! Before I was just thinking that it conjuncts MC, and I was focusing on the career interpretations.

So the ruler of my chart is Neptune? Because my rising is Pisces? Or because Neptune receives many aspects? Bob Marks said that since I've got a bucket chart, the planet that's isolated from others planet is the ruler. In my case, it's the Moon.

And damn yeah.. the interpretation about Neptune conjunct Midheaven fits me. I always suspect I'm delusional and have a hard time trusting my abilities.

Sometimes I feel like an open book because of my chart. Pisceans' fear of the "big brother"

The 9th House is quite active in my chart. Quotes courtesy of lalalinda and pixelpixie.

quote:
All those planets in the 9th house would give a strong focus on 9th house matters. Travel would be at the top of that list. Whether they travel themselves (they really want to) Or marry someone from another country or culture, or watching British T.V or dealing with overseas countrys there going to feel that wonderlust.
They have strong beliefs, are generally honest and moral (there are exceptions). Thier views become Sagitarian like in that they gather information in response to thier questions in terms of the universe, they seek the truth as it pertains to them. School is important too. College, trade school etc.
In terms of what it means, you might not be attracted to sag types unless other factors warrant it, but you will sympathize with the plight of the Sagitarian, you share similar issues. Underneath it all you share very basic traits in regaurd to 9th house matters.(religion/philosophy)
Having so many planets in one house is going to leave the other houses a little skimpy, and the houses that are ruled by all those 9th house planets are also going to color those houses Sag. (ruler placed in the 9th)

quote:
Or if in the ninth house, challenging yourself to seek new avenues constantly and expand your horizons, learning about your fellow man, travelling steadily, philosophical pursuits...... If Uranus were there, you'd seek travel to open unexpected doors, and whenever you felt stifled, a great well of need would arise, making you want an out through movement, or Mars... making you outspoken and energetic about philosophies and new directions, religion, etc.....

As far as outlets, just watch for any recreational activities which go overboard, such as drugs or unrealistic relationships. But you'd be really good with music, poetry and art. Also, anything to where you can apply your compassion, but only if you are grounded enough to not get sucked into other people's problems too much to where you lose your boundaries.

Pisces

Sensitive, imaginative, intuitive - but indecisive, changeable and unrealistic too and that's what Pisces is and more. There are two planets specifically associated with the sign, Jupiter and Neptune. Both of these planets lend their energies to expanding the imagination and letting your feelings run free. Pisces is the sign of the psychic, the healer, the intuitive who is in tune with the synchronicities of the universe. Pisces nature is emotional, sensitive and subjective. Your imagination and intelligence are subtly insightful. The Pisces soul is one of mystery and longing. As mentioned, Pisces is a sign that deeply reflects its ruler, Neptune, the planet of fantasy and illusion, romanticism and phantasmagoria, compassion, sympathy and the supernatural.

The Pisces mind is like no other. Like a vast, swirling ocean, the Piscean inner world is a rich tapestry of impressions and sensations, some brilliantly intuitive, others fleeting flights of fancy. Yet all are unique in some way. To walk down the street with a Pisces friend is like entering a magic realm. What the Pisces mind does not see, it will invent. Rush-hour traffic turns into a floating opera, the entrance to a bank becomes the portal of an enchanted castle etc. Therefore, the Piscean mentality does well in the arts where you can create. You have the ability to see both what is there and what is not there.

The genius inherent in the Pisces experience is the understanding that one does not have to be anything, yet can be everything. This is because you have a wondrous sense of possibility in the midst of a sea of limitation. Pisces is a mysterious, fluid, changeable sign that is never completely at home on the earth, always quietly yearning for an experience of exaltation or spiritual completion. It is this search for something more, for infinite possibility, that comes to define the Piscean individuality.

Pisceans are sensitive to absolutely anything - the slightest hint of emotion in a snatch of conversation, the colour of your surroundings, the feeling of your clothes. To be as sensitive as this obviously makes you emotionally vulnerable. The other two water signs, Cancer and Scorpio have developed hard outer shells so that they hide their feelings, just like animals of their signs; but what do Piscean fish do? Swim away of course. Your defence against things which make you uncomfortable is simply to run away - to escape. Escapism is a profound need in the Piscean personality. The great thing about a Piscean , which none of the down-to-earth or practical signs ever understand, is that things are only real to you if you believe them to be so - when reality is painful, you can replace it with an imaginative fantasy and believe in that until things get better. Only Pisces has this internal escape route.

Your two biggest talents are sympathy and imagination. When someone is suffering or in pain, you can feel it strongly because you are so sensitive. Your response is immediate sympathy. This is why many Pisceans work in medicine, pharmacy and nursing. Your imagination shows itself in just about every field of artistic activity. You have a way with words and images and associations. The most glamorous Piscean occupations are in the world of theatre or in the media. Pisceans make marvellous artists, painters, photographers, film directors, actors, writers, musicians, psychotherapists, healers, helpers and mystics.

Pisceans and alcoholic liquor go together naturally. Many Pisceans are more prone than any other sign to become alcoholics. Alcohol changes your emotional state and you enjoy the intensified emotions that it produces.

Water plays an important part in your holiday plans. Rivers, lakes, sea - you like them to play an important part of your holiday environment. The sound of water is soothing to your mind. Water sports of all kinds attract you. Pisceans are not the athletes of the zodiac although you do enjoy swimming and dancing which are better suited to your flowing movements.

Pisces Ascendants have a special ability to get what they want from the universe. Here's what the book says:
"But Neptune is the planet that describes the ability to create the circumstances around us. It is like planting a seed in a flower pot. If one plants a zinnia seed, a zinnia grows, if cared for properly, or if an orchid is planted that is the plant that emerges from the soil. Metaphysically speaking, whatever one can conceive is what emerges and is manifest in the outer circumstances. If conditions are not ideal, the fault lies in the seeds that are planted on a daily basis.
Janene Schneider describes this process as sending out "purchase orders" to the universe. If five "desks and chairs" are ordered, that is what is received, yet if imperfect orders are released, imperfect "merchandise" is returned. Neptune in good aspect to other planets, describes a fantastic ability to order a good life through being idealistic and expectant. The refusal to see ugliness seems to prevent its existence in the life of one with this ascendant. The effectiveness of this talent is indicated by the aspects to the planet Neptune. The visionary quality is connected with a desire to save the world and to lift circumstances to the ideal level. The problems that occur stem from an unwillingness to be realistic, however, or a tendency to overglamorize people and events.
Learning to utuilize this ability in a practical manner can be like taking pictures of a beautiful sunset. Unless the camera is focused properly, the sunset comes out a blur. Since the person with Pisces rising is constantly "taking pictures" of events around him, he can manufacture fantastic results by simply combining intellect and practical application with the visionary trait. As long as he believes in his dreams while maintaining awareness of their realistic direction, he finds ideal circumstances."

quote:
i have noticed that my wishes seem to manifest more quicker if it is done in a naive mood, the trick to really making the dream become a reality is by visualizing what you desire clearly and in detail with a receptive mind, it works even better if you can mentally feel what you want, after that is done just forget about it and trust that your dream will find its way to you; of course it will only work if there is faith and the knowing that you will get it...but then again having a pisces friend wishing with you gives the process a bigger boost.....

Pisces Ascendant

When Pisces rises the person concerned can be in real danger of losing their identity, especially if in a relationship with someone with much stronger personality traits. The Pisces rising person is in many ways a mirror, reflecting back at others precisely what they want to see, yet the true person remains hidden, vulnerable and more than a little frightened. With enormous imaginative and creative talents, the person with Pisces Ascendant is probably one of the true artists of the zodiac, in whatever form they may choose to use their skills. Sensitive and more than a little gullible they need to take care that they are not taken advantage of. Shyness and a lack of confidence are common, as are psychic and healing abilities and a great deal of spiritual wisdom.
http://www.elysian.co.uk/ascendant.htm

PISCES ASCENDANT
The Pisces Ascendant is usually denoted by large, limpid pools for eyes. And if the eyes are the mirror to the soul, what better way to show your deep, sometimes confusing nature, to the rest of us. This confusion is due to your attractive yet mysterious nature. You've probably developed the "air" of being quixotic and exotic, all in one, to a fine art. As long as we're on the topic of art, you're going to find that you do have an artistic nature, and you might have a reasonable amount of skill in one or more areas of fine arts. There is also a spiritual association that goes with the Pisces Rising sign. The appeal of the open road, either literally or figuratively is strong in you. One of the best parts about Pisces Rising is that you can adapt to shifting paradigms with a high degree of ease. The downside is a possibly addictive nature.

Pisces Ascendant

"Go with the flow" seems to be a Pisces rising motto. They move about the world in a vaguely directionless, gentle manner. They come across as artists and lovers of peace; but their open minds and hearts can give them a chameleon-like persona. Others are not always sure who they'll meet from one day to the next with a Pisces rising person. Although often quiet and shy, another day may find them talkative and passionate. They are hugely impressionable, have a dreamy disposition, and project a soft-hearted personality. Pisces rising sees the world the way they want to see it at any given time, so objectivity is not necessarily a strong point. Neither is decision-making!

People with Pisces rising resist any kind of labeling--their characters are changeable, and they don't want to be pinned down or pegged in any way. Theirs is a restless, searching nature that cannot be happy with any one way of living or being. Pisces rising avoids cold, hard facts and harsh realities like the plague. They don't have a decisive plan for tomorrow or even today, preferring to keep things open. Since they change their minds frequently enough, and like to "feel" their way through life, too much organization or structure can be seen as very limiting.

Pisces rising people walk around with their heads in the clouds, and even when you do have their attention, their dreaminess is almost always apparent.

These people look for a stable partnership--one that is reliable. Pisces rising people gravitate to partners who keep them on their toes, and they often will pass off the little details and reality checks to their significant other. They seem to need a practical, realistic partner.

Pisces Ascendants often have a sensitivity to drugs, and sometimes are prone to allergies that come and go. Their physical constitutions seem to be less resistant than most.

Pisces rising people often possess an irresistible charm that comes on in a quiet way, with a soft aura about them. Both their appearance and mannerisms are usually quite intriguing to others.

quote:
With Pisces rising, the planetary "Ruler" of your horoscope is Neptune. This Ascendant produces a personality that is idealistic, supersensitive, and usually a person with much vision. The Neptune influence in your nature causes you to have something of a Don Quixote complex, with little concern for reality. You may be very easygoing, at times you can even seem indolent; a romantic and a dreamer.

With Pisces on the rise you may the type of person who frequently asks for advice, because you often lack the confidence to move ahead on your own, and you are so unsure of yourself. Strangely, you rarely take the advice you receive. You tend to dream your way through life, glamorizing situations, people, status, and circumstances. You are a very secretive person, in part because you are somewhat timid, a fact you hide with great skill. You may avoid drawing attention to yourself, and because you do, you may not receive the credit you often deserve. You have a strong inner need to serve others in your life's work and you can be really happy if you can do so.

Self-realization is of prime importance, and it is therefore essential for you to spend a good deal of time by yourself. Often this sign denotes involvement or strong interest in music or another form of art.

You are likely to set high goals and expect much from yourself and from those around you. Since you expect people to be perfect, you are often disappointed in them. Although you don't at all like being confrontation, you are heavily vested in the idea that you are right all of the time. Living the utopian life, you find it hard to accept that you have miscalculated.

Pisces is a water (emotional) sign and it is mutable, or adaptable. The sign of Pisces is the two fish, swimming in opposition directions. This symbolizes the difficulty that you may have in making decisions. Confrontation and clear-cut decisions are not easy for you to manage. You prefer a more considered approach that relies on your strong intuitive feelings to lead the way. There is a certain naivete associated with this Ascendant that is not unlike the Ostrich who has hidden his head in the sand.

quote:
PISCES - Sweet and sour. Tender, brave, and cynical. It's a short body, inclined to [b]un bon pointe[/i]. Their hair always looks invitingly mussed up, and here are the famous bedroom eyes of Raquel Welch and Princess Caroline of Monaco, both of whom have Pisces rising. These big, bloopy eyes rank with Cappie rising as the most gorgeous orbs of the zodiac. Pisces rising people look like fish-faces. These poetic, sneaky, imaginative, bright, dreamy, restless, sensitive people must be HIGHLY SELECTIVE in choosing environments jand people; they soak up everything that goes on around them. Fortunately most of them are intuitive, and their insight helps them avoid the sleaze. They can choose the wrong people and need to check the facts. They can be strong and brave enough to flow with God's plan; they can play victim and serve as ace martyrs; they're sharp con artists, too. It's all in how they choose. Some of them are so unworldly they will swish around the department store until you find them the exit...but they can save your life.
Some occult teachers say that we return to using our rising sign when we have fulfilled the purpose of our Sun Signs. This usually does not occur until after the kids have grown and we've got time to muck about with nirvana. Then, say the sages, the Ascendant is your Ultimate Spiritual Path, and it has nothing to do with how you act at a cocktail party.

PISCES RISING- The impressionable ones
These people are shy and sensitive on the surface but have strong inner beings. They rely on their intuition and make surprisingly good buisness people. In the northern lattitudes, Sagittarius is always on the Midheaven, giving them a strong spiritual nature. In the southern hemisphere, a Scorpio Midheaven is also possible, drawing these types to darker and more forbidden fields of work.

From "The Twelve Houses" by Howard Sasportas.

Saturn in the 8th........

Saturn in the 8th gives apprehensions and difficulties in the area of intimacy, sharing and joint resources. They may feel insecure about what they have to give or experience some difficulty recieving what another is offering.

More generally, there is a fear of letting go, of merging and blending with another person. To truly merge with someone else means the death of the self as a seperate individual.

This is a frightening prospect for those with Saturn in the 8th who want to hold onto what they value and possess. In addition, letting themselves go in a relationship entails the possibility of being overtaken by feelings that they have attempted to keep under rigid control- rage, jealousy, envy and passions of a primitive and instinctive nature.

They desperately crave a close union and yet withdraw from it for fear of being overwhelmed by such eruptions. Subsequently, they may have difficulty relaxing and being open and trusting with others, all of which could give rise to sexual problems.

( In mythology, Eros and Thanatos were brothers and the sexual union is a kind of death of one's individuality. ) Investigating the root causes of inhibitions in this area deepens and enriches their self-knowledge and understanding.

Besides possible sexual hang-ups, there are conflicts pooling resources and making personal adjustments in relationships. The partner's beliefs or values may differ from and contadict their own, or they may choose a mate who is a burden in some way.

And yet, helping out with the welfare of others may be precisely what Saturn in the 8th needs for their own personal development. There can be trouble over inheritance, taxation and business contracts, and the possibility of drawn out divorce proceedings.

Some will make a career dealing with other people's money - bankers, investment consultants, stockbrokers, and accountants may have this position of Saturn.

Generally, they hesitate to probe beneathe the surface of life and yet this is what is needed for greater depth and maturity. Obviously, people who attempt to maintain rigid controls over themselves are likely to be very frightened by the prospect of physical death and what looms in the hereafter.

These apprehensions could provoke them to a serious pursuit of more knowledge in these areas. A supreme example is found in the chart of Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, with Saturn in Scorpio in the 8th ; through her pioneering research, she has helped thousands face death with nobility and peace.

quote:
Saturn in the 8th shows a long life due to Saturn's staying power.

Expression of sex is shown by the 5th house but the attitude toward sex is shown by the 8th house. Psychological blockage can occur, or it could be out of balance, either too much or too little. So, the lesson to be learned is about sex attitudes and apetites.

Also, the partner's money and their attitude about money are tied up with this house.

Moon in Aries
You are a quick thinker, talker, and large-scale planner, but you may need help with specific details. Lunar Ariens are often starters rather than runners, so you may be happoier as an executive rather than as an ordinary worker. You may be a tough go-getter, but your confidence can evaporate quickly and you need the support and admiration of others.
Women with this moon placement may value a career highly. You can be enthusiastic, headstrong and freedom-loving, unable to accept restrictions or unnecessary discipline. Your love life may be stormy, either because you are changeable and easily bored or becasue you are unwilling to compromise. However, you are probably honest and don't try to manipulate others.
Moon in Aries people can be deft and dextrous, so your excellent co-ordination could make you successful at many sports.
The moon is a 'watery' planet, and when it is in a fire sign emotions can be expressed quickly and easily. Moon Ariens can therefore display a hot temper, although you usually cool down quickly and rarely sulk. It may be hard to get you to listen to others, as you tend to see everything from your own point of view, concentrating on your own emotional needs rather than those of others.
One problmem that seems to afflict those with the Moon in Aries is that of having a domineering or difficult parent, and the years from adolescence to independence are often characterized by shouting matches.

http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/004286.html

quote:
MOON IN ARIES, MOON IN THE FIRST HOUSE
Where's the fire? Aries Moon knows. Usually he's already there, a box of matches in one hand and a fire extinguisher in the other. He may have started that blaze himself, as it happens. He knows how to finish it, too, with firecrackers and exploding, bomb-bursting extravaganza. This Moon position loves trouble. The loftier types love to rescue folks in trouble. It's a Girl and Boy Scout Moon.
Hair-trigger reaction time makes this gang unique. In fact these guys feel that life itself is an emergency; they aim to get the everloving most out of every moment. No one is so ready to go to war for a Noble Cause - every one of them is a potential chivalrous soldier. And if you are lucky enough to be their friend, they will even fight a noble war for you...again and again.
Passion cooks in these people. Men with this Moon like their women hot and sassy, then invariable want to tame them. If the poor woman won't be tamed, the Aries Moon man stumbles about in a befogged state of exasperation; if he does manage to subdue her, he gets bored!
Aries Moon women are male chauvinists, too. They're surprised when you tell them they're competitive. According to one astrological sage, they secretly want the man to take charge while they shout, "No!" He's right. These women like to keep on a selection of male "buddies" to joke around with. They are deeply horrified when outsiders misconstrue these friendships, believing there's romance in them. This is the most naive Moon of the bunch. It's a Pollyanna Moon.
They are horrible listeners because they're always waiting to butt in with their tuppence worth. They need to learn that people will like them more if they SLOW DOWN and RESPOND to what you said before they go racing on to the next idea.
Aries Moon does hear you, though. They just think fast. They don't know they're being rude.
It's easy to sell them something if you remember that their deepest need is for you to like them. So just act as if you won't like them if they don't buy. They know you're just spooking them, but it rattles them just the same. They feel with their egos and live in the future; they're brave and restless and always have heroes and villains.
Restless, Lordy, are they restless. Egocentric? They are self-centered beyond belief. They take everything personally. Have them stand alone on a building top or let them brag about how cool they are when they feel blue. They'll soon be cheerful again.
Oh, the fire? They know its true location is in the heart.

SUN IN THE NINTH HOUSE
"Free will is not the liberty to do whatever one likes, but the power of doing whatever one sees ought to be done, even in the face of otherwise overwhelming impulse. There lies freedom, indeed."
- G. MacDonald

Two activities bring out the best in you: travel and mind expansion. Yo might even be happier living in a foreign country, if other factors in your horoscope indicate this. At least you will travel widely, and if you're broke or paralyzed, these circumstances won't stop you. You'll study the world from your armchair, and pretty soon the kids will start calling you professor. You're a grand teacher when you get going.
This Sun position could make you a lawyer, a talk-show host, a travel agent, a hippie, a diplomat, or the local sage. It will give you a big mouth, but a well-considered, educated one!
