I'm going with the first couple divorced. That Chiron on the descendant is bothering me. There are several other reasons but I cant shake that one. Haha!

Is it okay to post another example, though the first has not yet been resolved? Or does it make us go too cross-eyed?

If you feel it is too much, let me know, and I will take it down again, but I am moving to Solar Returns here.

One Solar return of the year when a break-up/divorce happened.
The other Solar return is of the year, a marriage took place.

Anyone else wants to give their opinion on the marriage vs divorce theme?

The configurations in each of these solar return charts are similar to what i have in my own marriage and divorce charts. The second looks close to what I have with my marriage and the first my divorce from this year. I wonder if they match up to the answer. We shall see!

Ceri,

Are these charts from the same person? In that case it's easy. One chart says solar 2011 and the other 2013. Unless the marriage and divorce are from different ppl

Yes, same person.
Not that easy necessarily though. Sometimes you break up with someone else before getting married. And sometimes you get married just to get divorced 2 years later.

Ceri, I think the first one is the marriage, but it's a tough call.

Sven, I am glad to see you back in the game

Faith, no Mercury or Venus, be it upside down, can prevent Virgos and Caps to get together

For my test, the first one is the divorce, the second the happy marriage.

Why?

Back in the game, back with a bang!
Thank you smelly

YES!!!!

All that analysis paid off. My guess is the Guy felt suffocated by the Lady as her Saturn was on his Moon. Seeing as the Moon in a Man's chart is the woman he desires, she must of been too critical for him or too much like his mother (or parental role). She probably thought he wasn't serious enough. (Libra ASC, Taurus Moon and Aries Mars) or too opinionated (Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in 3rd).
He might of found her overbearing on him or too self-centred for his liking.
Did they have any physical fights or desputes over possessions?

The 2nd chart has a nice balance of togetherness, difference and shared interests. Good for them!

Well, there were some things I considered, but the final guess came to me because of the Transits.

The first couple had to go through Tr Saturn opposing their Moon-Saturn-MC-conjunction.

This conjunction could actually have been a good one, providing a lot of glue, and it is forefront (angular), but here in this case it also comes with an opposition to Neptune. Saturn-Neptune natally, Saturn-Moon, Neptune-Moon synastrically. It looks deeply karmic to me, but also like the strain got eventually too much.

The other thing I noticed was the opposition of Pluto to Mars. While this could have started out as crazy sexual attraction (if it was not downright hostility, but they got together so I guess the attraction scenario came before. lol) but Pluto-Mars can turn into animosity down the line it is a "handle with care" aspect. It is definitely relationship oriented as Mars rules DESC. However Pluto does not rule a complementary house (the combination 7th-2nd is more like Venus-Venus, and probably not enough positive stimulation).

As for the 2nd couple, if I remember it right, they had a Sun-Moon-DW and a Venus-Mars-DW.
and something more I do not recall right now. lol

I wonder though how they will fare with Tr Pluto coming up to their Saturn-Moon-Moon-conjunction.
My guess is that they might have it a little easier with it than the first couple (pluto is never easy of course), as Neptune is not disturbing the "frequency" of Moon-Saturn.

I do not see it right, but is there a Pluto-Moon-trine synastrically? well they might be already vibrating with Moon-Pluto then.
On the other hand Pluto tends to transform very very deeply, it will still be an intense time for them, and either it will break them apart or bringing them even more closely together and making them totally inseparable.

The happy marriage comes with the husband and wife being a strong team and great parents. They have very similar tastes and life values.

The divorce chart happened as the two people started to get tough on each other, to the point that the gentleman couldn't stand the lady anymore (physically too). Saturn and Mars/Pluto behaved that way. There was something right in his attitude, since he is a very hard working and disciplined individual, while the lady is scattered and impulsive; they are both artists. He had to work two jobs to support the family, while she refused to work; this created a huge gap between them and led to conflicts bordering on the physical. He filed for divorce.

Ceri, the solar return with the apparent (wide orb) grand cross looks more like marriage material. The Pluto-moon-Uranus t-square looks stressful but it's nevertheless a coming-together formation (to my inexpert eye.)

Meanwhile the other chart has Uranus on the IC with Mars, ruler of the IC, squaring the nodal axis. Sun-Venus-Neptune cradle could have high hopes, but the moon's in the blah 10th house with Saturn, so "the person" may have felt that the time was right for love, but not with the person they were with then.

Mercury on the ASC in Sag, with the DSC in Gemini, widely aspecting the Libra moon...they would be vocal about their feelings with partnerships.

Yes, you were both right. The first one is a marriage SR, the second a split-up one.

There are two threads here that should never go dormant; one is this http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/001652-8.html

just kidding u

and the other is...this!!!!!

Wake up, sleepingbeauties, new test

One is a relationship that never got off the ground (I'm not sure why, astrologically, maybe you can tell me) BUT important clue: the guy is a weirdo Everything started very romantically, but when we first kiss, I had a spine tingling and the painful strange feeling he is danger. Apart from the "gut" feeling theory, there's also another interesting theory stating this might happen when we sense a genetic mismatch (in other words, the more receptive partner may feel, instinctively, the relationship may lead to genetic disorders in children)

The other is my first boyfriend great love and passion in there. But at some point I felt there is someone else waiting for me beyond the relationship, I had a sudden inexplicable rush to move on and nothing could stop me . I was very young, I was 17 when it started and 20 when I ended it but I will always love him.

Yay, new test!

LOL..I clicked the link...somehow I knew what it would be.

Anyway...without puzzling too long about the Pluto age differences, and what that means...
