It's ok. Sad, but sometimes things just are. Yes, I'm closer to the inner (aries), though I wasn't distant from the sag. There's more to that story such as the sag always being there financially for the aries even if they had to hide it from the new spouse.

One question here would be: why the difference, why unrequited (astrologically)?

Yes, once you get past the Scorpio AC and the 8H/Pluto influence, you reach the Cancer who people would want to cuddle.
The Taurus has 4 important placements in Taurus, the "baby of the zodiac" as per Linda Goodman (Sun, Mercury, Moon and Mars), and in her case it seems to manifest as someone who needs to be constantly taken care of.
